This camera does record 1080p unlike others I have tried similar to this one, and in live view the 4K settings does make a difference, shame you can’t record in 4K. The time line is useful to check any activity, but it is a little tricky to use, it’s a bit of a pain when you want to slide the time line it jumps on by 60 minutes. The separate battery helps to keep the unit cool, but I keep my camera permanently connected via usb. The video quality is ok full view, but if you zoom in, is it still not so clear. The other odd thing that all recorded files are dat files, not mpeg, so on play back it can distort. I found by loading all the 10min clips using Wondershare Filmora, I can watch the clips as normal and zoom in if I need to, and it handy to edit the clips I want to save and convert them into mpeg2 then playback is as it should be. If using a computer to watch playback, you can change the dat files attributes to play back on VLC media player.

I connect the spy camera with the battery then download the HD live app from Google Play, It does have clear instructions leaflet to help me how to configure the WIFI router connection to wireless spy camera. It is working excellently. I can see colourful video motion on my smartphone via the spy camera. It can be capable to switch to Night vision to see depending on the lights from outside at night. , (Please take care not bend the spy camera len film or it will damage the len vision)

I purchased this to fit inside a birdbox and in fairness wasn’t convinced that the picture quality would be great given the camera size and relativerly low cost. I have had that reset – the picture quality is actually brilliant for such a tiny unit, and it’s capturing movement brilliantly allowing me to capture footage of the birds nesting. For the money, I thiunk this is a cracking little camera and I’m already working on a new wildlife box design so I can fit one of these to a bat box next. Really pleased with this purchase

Okay so I have a neighbour who leans over and empties my water butt. Seriously get a life.
I installed this camera within the fence line on my property to see what we could catch on film.
Plus sides, easy to install software and review footage, I installed a micro sim for added evidence. Pictures were clear and motion detection worked well, night vision was also excellent. So for the price it ticks all the boxes. You need to be aware that the battery is small and has a limited recording span, I think it says about 7 hours, but if you are able to have a direct power source to it, it will record forever ( or until your sim is full)
Also impressed with Wi-Fi connection. That worked well.

I was looking for a mini camera that would allow easy concealment, permanent monitoring, connectivity to mobile phone and great value. This mini camera does all of that and more. As this was to primarily provide answers to a case of items going missing, it had to be well hidden and not dependant on constant battery charging. This camera can be plugged into a USB supply and powered permanently. The mini sd card stores footage easily downloaded to a mobile phone. All it needs is a wi-fi signal. It was very easy to set-up and the picture quality is outstanding. I am very hopeful that the answers sought will be forthcoming. Thank you.

This product works out of the box.

There’s a great deal of covert cameras in familiar configurations to be used in obvious settings and placements that to an acute eye can be spotted. These are effective decoys.

I used some imagination considering all types of housing. The choice of housing has to consider its placement to ensure the battery temperature does not exceed manufacturer’s limits and the temperature when charging. I’m satisfied with the result. I haven’t provided photos of what at present is unique. This is my first prototype.

The second version will have a higher capacity battery and be integrated to other covert battery powered devices. There’s obviously a need to have a fully operational when the mains power is interrupted.

The MINI CAMERA performance is more than adequate for a covert security camera system.

There’s no prerequisites to be an electronic or software engineer.
