This is the second one we have bought; we bought two new parasols, so we decided that we needed two new parasol bases. These are heavy, solid, and nice to look at. We would recommend them to anyone looking for a new base.
Excellent base, and fits our new wider parasol pole. BUT, 2 extra un ordered bases were delivered, and the company, Ram(?), has consistently failed to pick these up! I could sell these, or give away, but do not want to be accused of theft!
very much. Very easy to assemble.The only downside is that it could do with another screw the other side to hold the parasol pole more firmly. I found the screw didnt go through far enough.I have had to pack it carefully inside. Another screw from the other side would greatly enhance this produce to balance the pole more securely and align it better.Obviously I would imagine the parasol poles come in all different thicknesses
and the double screw fitting would definately be a good idea.
