The size is OK, I’m missing a pole so had to improvise using a plastic stick. Cable tied the shelves so they actually stay.
Is OK for the money and for what I need it fo
great just what i needed good size. pity
about the dilivery we we waiting for the
amazon man he took it to a house across
the road didn’t even knock on our door
didn’t no till our neighbour came across .
Seemed a good idea for someone who loves gardening. It does need to be secured to a wall or fence or weighted down. I’ve noticed that the cover had torn, are replacements available?
Bought to start off seedlings. It’s perfect for my needs. Put together in under 20 minutes and it’s pretty sturdy. Roomy, much more so than expected. Used a couple of tent pegs on bottom row to secure it for windier days. Very happy with this. Thanks.
You can definitely get sturdier greenhouses out there but they come with a bigger price tag. This is so cheap and perfect for the veg we’re growing. We put a brick on the bottom shelf to stop it toppling over in the wind and had no issues.
I already had one of these I had purchased somewhere else this was better quality and the plastic cover seems much stronger. I have been growing my seedling and tomatoes in this easily.
Fairly straight forward putting it together. Can be done in less than an hour. Once completely built, I added a brick on each side of the frame at the foundation, to give it extra support, as my little green house toppled over a few days ago. I suspect it was the recent rain and wind that did it. Now I’ve relocated the greenhouse, and I’ve secured the base . Apart from that, it’s a nice little green house.
Was fairly easy to erect but instructions weren’t great. Had to have a few attempts because of this. However once mastered and altogether it is exactly what I wanted and needed. Good value for money. I would have given 5 stars but think maybe it had been a second or returned as one tube had a spilt in it and I had 2 tubes to many.
In the picture looked smaller but actually there’s enough space to fit few plants. I’ve managed to fit 8 mediums size vase and still have some space to fit more. Great product.
Does the job, the shelving sections were a little bit warped and don’t sit too well but resolved with cable ties. Have weighted down with a brick to ensure it doesn’t blow over in the wind. So far so good.
The plastic cover would be good if both greenhouses had not ripped in areas where there should have been more support. The two covers are far too tight around the roof area. By far the worst two greenhouses that I have purchased in over fifty years of gardening.
A complete waste of money.
Easy to assemble – if youve got a plastic/rubber head hammer it’ll be easier to firm tap all the joins together as its a bit difficult to know if youve done it by hand.
I had one of these years ago – from the popular auction site 😉 – the plastic was thicker – the shelves wire sturdier – but alas, those good old days of quality seem like a beautiful memory of ice creams at the beach on a sunny day when you were a child and care-free.but i digress!
It will hold trays of seedlings fine – but large heavy pots will cause the wire to bend so best not use clay pots, just plastic, and no bigger than 1 litre pots filled. This is because the wire shelves are thin and will bend under too much weight. 6 one litre pots evenly placed will only just hold. Theyre designed for seedlings trays really. Not suitable for heavy large pots with established plants – unless youre willing to reinforce the wire with another wire grid.
Dont leave them empty -the wind/breeze will take them on a journey around your garden! I had mine zipped up closed but empty of plants and 4-5 times had to pick it up from its wind-dancing venture! So i put 3 one litre pots on the lower shelf to hold it in place until i fill the whole thing. That worked. Saying that, it survived being thrown about by the wind so not too flimsy
Good value compared to others asking 50% more money that are no different in quality.
Easy to assemble just make sure you push poles in all the way not the sturdiest, the ties that tie the cover to frame could do with being longer so that you could tie them under the bottom rack rather than just the pole which would help the cover not to be blown off I have placed a bag of compost on bottom shelf to hopefully stop it from blowing over.
I have a traditional glass greenhouse and was looking for a cheap shelving solution. I bought this to just use the shelving so can’t comment on the cover. The shelves went together easily and seemed relatively sturdy. I previously had a greenhouse like this and it collapsed in a storm – they are best used over spring and summer I think then collapsed for winter.
