This is an interesting tool. Not overly ergonomic or slick, what it is is a proper work piece. Sharp, very well finished and almost ‘steam punk’ in design, the swappable blade is easy to switch (and comes with a pack of replacements) and the main blade is easy to open. All tools lock and it has a good belt clip and a lanyard point. Excellent value. Good finish
This is a great tool. Blade on the knife is very good. I was very surprised as they aren’t usually that great but this one is crazy sharp. Use it all the time. Looks great if that is an issue. Comfortable to hold and use.
This is a very sturdy knife and feels comfortable to use, stanly blade holds in firmly, knife blade dull but once sharpened great and strong. Used this for a while now and can’t find fault.
Firstly the build quality is top notch, its solid, the knife blade is decent and holds its edge well, I’ve cut boxes, fabric, wires and many other things and it stands up well to the abuse and only requires the odd sharpen up now and then, the Stanley blade function is more simple as it has a notch on it so can be used with one hand when needed, good little knife overall.
overall the knife is well made and sturdy, although i searched the packaging to find the country of origin, i wondered if they are made in china or india, as the finish is not perfect and one of the rosewood inserts has been damaged at the factory.
i suspect that these knives are seconds ? but the price makes up for these small imperfections.
i use this knife everyday at work, cutting plasterboard etc…definitely worth the money.
