Bought this for the large paddling pool to use over summer. Only used a few weeks with this English weather but it did the job and kept the pool nice and fresh whilst it was up. Would definitely recommend.
Chlorine dispenser is small, but does the job it was designed for in my pool well.
The measurements are exactly as per listing description. RUIZHI chlorine tablet dispenser looks and feels well made from a decent quality plastic. I have it blue and white.
This universal chlorine dispenser is easy to use, it is even adjustable, so tablets could dissolve slower or faster.
I use it with the small slow release chlorine tablets and it works well.
Simple, clever and useful design, pricey, but does the job well.
Review from my husband:
This is a really handy little device if you have a hot tub or pool for that matter. We have a lay zee spa Hollywood and it works perfectly for this. It’s a little two-piece dispenser that you can pop your chlorine tablets and your water cleaners in and they dissolve over time leaving your pool crystal clear and clean. It just floats on the surface harmlessly doing its job. Whilst the pool’s covered up, it’s still working away dispensing all the healthy pool stuff and making it a safe environment for everyone. It does need filling up quite a lot though and you will soon find yourself running out of treatments if you don’t stay on top of it. But for the most part and for the price it’s great. I’m sure there are other products out there that are more efficient but at more cost so this is ok to begin with. 7.99 is ok for an entry-level product as all it does is harbour your pool cleaning products. It’s a no-fuss product. 4/5
Whenever I get a new chlorine dispenser they all seem to look exactly the same. I’m sure every single manufacturer of a chlorine dispenser must have got together in one large meeting to decide on the dimensions of the what your average internationally recognised chlorine dispenser should look like, and this is the fruits of their collective collaboration. The standard chlorine dispenser 1.0
Of course I’m being deliberately ignorant to the market as I know fine well there are lots of different chlorine dispensers available out there, but my point is, this appears to be the standard design. It’s functional and does the job.
My last dispenser, which was exactly the same as this one, lasted over a year before I felt like I needed to replace it. There was a problem with the lid breaking on my last one but you can’t complain after getting over a years use out of a product that is designed to bounce around in a hot tub filled with a corrosive chemical. If it’s any reflection towards my positive opinion of this product, I would happily buy it again next year.
We have a hot tub and a ice tub and use these in both, so easy to use, simple take the lid off (i like that this one locks into place as others we have had come off so easily) pop your chlorine block in and secure the lid back on. Dispenses perfectly (sorry in the video I was trying to do the lid with one hand which was proving difficult) it’s easy with 2 hands free
Highly recommend
I like that this is quite utilitarian.
No mistaking it for a toy or anything.
There is a guage to allow slowing or speeding the dispensing up depending on your needs.
The guage is just an outer sleeve you twist to reveal holes.
Tablets go in the top through the twist off lid.
You can fit a 2″ tablet or smaller in and there is about a 4″ void for adding them one on the other.
There isnt a tether tab but there are two little holes in the lid so you could tie some thin cord through it for easy retrieval.
Simple and works as expected.
