I recently purchased the RUIZHI hot tlub filter cartridge replacement for my L-a-y-Z-Spa. These filters are compatible with various models, including Paris, Miami, Vegas, Monaco, and Palm Springs. Installation was a breeze, and they fit perfectly. After a month of use, the water in my hot tub has remained crystal clear, and I’ve noticed a significant improvement in water quality. While they do a great job, I deducted one star as I found them to be a bit pricey compared to other options. Nevertheless, these filters are effective and worth considering for maintaining your hot tub.
You can’t argue with the price, I’ve paid way more for 2 filters in the past so for a pack of 4 this is a brilliant price. They feel lighter than the official ones but they do the job just as well. We have teenagers so the water can get a bit, shall we say, full bodied, but I added some clarifier and put one of these in and after a couple of hours the water was clear and the filter was “gungy”. Gave it a rinse with the hose then let it dry and it looks good as new, ready to go again. Can’t say how many times we’ll be able to reuse it but even if we get 2 or 3 goes for this price you really can’t complain. Will most likely rotate them so take one out, put a clean one in and wash the old one ready for reuse later.
This 4 pack of lay-z-spa filters are in my opinion just as good as the original branded filters. We replace our filter every couple of weeks and this cost can soon add up. I never bother rinsing the filters as i feel that damages the paper filter part of the filter so i just discard and put in a replacement one. These filters fitted my filter housing without issue and there was no loss of flow from the egg pump. Really happy with these filters.
I normally use the Bestway filters for my hot tub. But I tried these and they are just as good.
They’re good quality at an affordable price.
I personally don’t think there is any difference between the two.
Used one over a week for a couple of sessions in my Lazy Spa hot tub and it collects dirt and grime really well. Fairly easy to clean. I usually use a hose to clean between the folds of the filter. I tend to change these around every 3 weeks depending on usage, so I like to keep a good supply over the summer months for when I use my hot tub. I expect these might work out cheaper if there is an option to buy them in bulk.
They did seem to crease a bit more than the official brand and I did have to push down the the top of the filter holder to get a tight fit so I wonder if they’re a tiny bit too large.
These filters fit well in my Lay Z Spa Monaco. They filter well enough and are washable and reusable. They seem to be a bit thinner and lighter than the original Lay Z Spa filters and probably wouldn’t be able to be reused as much but I normally wash and reuse filters 2 or 3 times before I replace them and these are doing the job fine for me. Overall good filters.
