This is a review of the Sametop bike handlebar mount. It is designed to fit to a cycle handle bar to securely attach a GoPro or compatible action cameras which use the same mount. It cannot be used to mount a phone or a camera. The construction is made of plastic and it looks well made. They include rubber grips for different handlebar sizes (they include a ‘small’ rubber and a ‘large rubber’. The rubber protects against scratches. Although it fits my cycle with a standard handle bar, it did not on my larger handlebar.
The clamp is easy to install and holds securely.
You can rotate the camera 360 degrees and also adjust the viewing angle.
Overall a great product.

Used the GoPro and works amazing holds it in place as said and the clamp has plenty of play to fit near any bar! Oh, and being able to rotate the actual holder is so useful
Came with several sized inner rubbers making it easy to use on large or small locations, locks in place and swivel quick and easy, purchased two for my bike as the GoPro clamp snapped!
I regularly use my bicycle and think its a good idea to record when out on the roads to ensure if there are any incidents I have video evidence – in the same way most people (including myself) have a dash cam in their cars.
This is easy to use, holds the gopro well without any risk of it failing and falling from what I’ve seen so far, which is very important given how much these bits of kit cost.

This was a product test purchase however despite that im pleased with it’s design and durability for cost
For me its only an item for a single purpose (Mountain biking/trail riding) but can be used for a veriety of action shots and good view points in many diciplins
Seems possible to brake if you crash badly but with in reason will hold up with moderate amount of use <- not gonna actively test this as I like using it.
It will fit a variety of tube/frame sizes as it comes with 2 rubber inserts & has a default minimum ring inside. This fitted my fatter handlebars superbly.

The perfect clamp for action cameras such as gopro, design to fit around a pole (tripod, handlebars, etc). Easy to set up and of excellent quality. The body feels strong and sturdy and the clasp that attaches it is also strong and reliable. Excellent quality overall and easy & intuitive to set up.

Great gopro mount for rounded handlebar or any pole. Best functionality of this mount is that you can set up viewing angle of gopro how you want, you can spin it 360 degrees and tilt it so it will always point in direction you want. I like how they implemented this mounting way, simple screw which you can close tight with fingers. For different thickness of handlebar producent supplied mount with different sizes rubber so you can easily pick one you need. It also fits most motorbike handlebars such my africa twin with rounded handlebar. Great mount at this price point.
This handlebar mount fits my DJ Osmo Action Camera which I have had for awhile but life has been too busy for me to make happy memories with it.
I am aiming to fit it into my mobiloty scooter handlebar and take videos of my dogs whom I walk with the mobility scooter. I believe it will fit well. I will take more pics in due course and report back on how easy it is to use as a newbie. It would be nice to get more experience using my DJ Osmo camera and this has given me the incentive to finally get the camera out of the storage box and using it.
Lovely quality handlebar mount which is quick and easy to use. I’ve put mine on my mirror which is quite small in diameter. It comes with two rubber inserts and one is perfect for my mirror. Strong sturdy mount and no camera vibration. Well pleased.
I already have a heavy-duty bar mount that can be used with a bike. It’s bigger, all-metal and quite heavy though, where I’d prefer something lightweight and less conspicuous. This Sametop handlebar seems to be just that.
It’s made of sturdy, decent quality plastic. The important bits like the mounting screw are metal though.
The bar mount is a typical clasp type. You get 2 thick, non-slip and nicely fitting rubber inserts to match a variety of diameters. It feels solid enough to handle quite a bit of vibrations.
The top is again a typical action camera mount, but on a pan platform. There’s a securing ring in the middle, which locks or releases the 360 degrees rotation. If you unscrew it just a little bit, it will move in small intervals, which may be handy sometimes. Unscrewing more makes the rotation completely smooth. It is possible to do the adjustment with just one hand, which is obviously quite crucial.
This is a complete set for using your camera on a bike or any other bar that fits the wide tolerance this mount has to offer. It’s small enough to not be overly visible. If it still sticks up too high, you can always twist the camera upwards and push the whole mount forward – making it look even more hidden. I’ll be testing it very soon on my upcoming holiday, so will feed back in case anything goes wrong with it. For now – I’m really happy with it. Easy and quick to mount and attach the camera, lightweight and small – happy to pay 18 to get it. And it comes in a decent box! Definitely recommending it.

This mount is super sturdy and fills me with confidence every time I attach an expensive action camera to it, unlike many models on the market.
The biggest issue usually is that the mount itself isn’t wide enough for larger handlebars.
You can just about get away with fixing this mount to those larger handlebars with the fixing screw just long enough.
And conversely, there are enough fittings that come with the product that you can attach it to a much smaller diameter part of the frame, for example the seat stays.
Once attached it feels really sturdy and doesn’t move.
The camera attachment is adjustable by 360 degrees and the locking knock nut really does keep the camera held in position well.
You can buy cheaper mounts, but this is worth a few extra quid for the peace of mind.
I’ve had several GoPro mounts for my bike but I have to say. This one is by far the best I’ve tried, the clamp can easily be adjust to different sized bars or handle bars and once fitted is solid in place. Two different rubber inserts are provided for narrower bars and they just slot in easily. The GoPro itself easily fits to the clamp and then you can turn/rotate the camp by loosening up the large screw above the clamp. Perfect do any location on the bike. Great quality and great value for money. Very happy with this.
The clip on my GoPro handlebar mount broke and I looked around for a replacement. During my search, I came across Sametop handlebar mount, which supports my GoPro 11 black. I was reluctant to buy it as I could not find many reviews for it. However, I took a chance and it is very good for its price. It feels like it will last. It is a solid product.
It’s definitely versatile will clamp on to mostly anything, it holds very strong and I like the low profile of it especially when attached to a selfie stick and 360 camera, definitely would recommend it.

I’ve bought other Sametop branded accessories for my GoPro and this handlebar mount is great just like the others. I like that it comes with 2 inners, so can easily fit thick or thin bars. It was easy to fit and I like that it can swivel. Just what I was looking for.

This one is quite solid and portable, admittedly, and a good fit for bike handles.
The clamp is provided with two internal foam rings to accommodate for different bar diameters.
Fitting it in takes a few minutes initially, I guess less once one is used to. And if you plan on moving it to bars of different diameters, you should bring both adapters and be careful not to lose them.
The camera will be quite secure. Of course, there will be a lot of vibrations even on smooth tracks, so some stabilization will be required in software after, but that’s the case with any clamp without an hardware stabilizer, which are normally very expensive.
The reason for 4 stars is that, while it works and it is durable, other models I have tried are more flexible, allowing to orient the camera with one hand while cycling (for side views, selfie views and so forth), removing the clamp quickly to move it to other parts of the bike for different framing, and they can clamp to larger tubing if needed, with no need for adapters.
It is a good clamp if one plans on leaving it always in the same place, I think.
I ordered this bike camera holder to help me record better videos whilst on my bike. The camera holder is very sturdy, and even if I ride bumpy, fast or shaky, the holder remains still, making it good for any environment.
The holder is also very easy to set up and can be loosened and tightened easily. The holder is also very well built and high quality. My experience with it has been great, so I would highly recommend it.

Just what I was looking for to fit into my 29 inch wheeled bmx bike for filming with my gopro hero 11 black.
This mount has a very easily adjustable clamp and you can also change angle of the camera easily and quickly turning the lock to change angle of the mount.
The gopro fits easily into the mount and you get the screw to tighten the camera to the mount , it takes seconds to fit.
The clamp is really cushioned and fits perfectly around my handlebar, my bike has retro BMX handlebars so the bar is thinner than mountain bike handlebars but this clamps on perfectly.
It’s a very secure fit when attached and tightened up properly, just turn the adjustable tightening screw to get a tight grip , the cushioned inner of the clamp won’t scratch paintwork on your bike it’s really soft and grips well.

I find this is excellent – this is a lot better than the clamp that came with our “GoPro” type camera:
I have found
the removable rubber inserts allow the camera to be clamped to tubes up to 1.5 inches in diameter
the plastic/metal construction is a lot tougher and heavier than the device that came with the camera
there is a good range of movement possible for setting up the camera position – and importantly, the setting can be fixed rigidly by screwing down the mount so it is unlikely to shake use.
no downsides as far as I can see – but do note that it has only the GoPro type connection, and there is no traditional camera type 1/4″ screw tripod mount option. If you need that functionality you must also buy a “Camera Mount Adapter for GoPro Ecosystem, -20 Conversion Adapter for Tripod” (Amazon UK has several options to buy these in May 2023)
This is perfect for me – it certainly fits our Raleigh bikes but we plan to use this also to fix the camera to scaffolding to do long-period timelapse.
If this fails to work over the next year – I will be back to update the review.
