This is a straightforwardly designed product that does the job. Apart from cost, my only slight niggle is the brittleness of the housing. In admittedly cold weather I was able to cause 2 cracks when knocking out a cable entry point. Not a show stopper since I was sealing the wall/housing interface with silicone anyway and just added a little extra to the cracks.
This fits my granny charger plug, plus having the led I can see when it’s switched on. I got a wall bracket for cable and charger socket. I’ve put my granny charger in a water tight box. I can now charge from my solar or over night using the in car schedule. So glad I’ve done this so much easier and cheaper in the long ru
got this for outside my back door where my patio is this is my other half’s domain so I’m a tad clueless. he really rates this its fabulous quality and works for what he wanted there are two sockets each with a switch. and the waterproof plastic housing is secure and solid comes with instructions he’s very happy with it and would definitely recommend it.
