I thought that it was too good to be true at the price that I paid for it. I thought that it would be a peace of crap and I would have been kicking myself all the way to Currys to purchase one there at a lot more expense. But O boy how I was wrong its one of the best tablets I have ever owned and I have owned a hell of a lot over the years. It’s fast and reliable and has plenty of poke under the bonnet with out me having to put a card in it and I have a lot of apps and other stuff and it’s working like a breeze. So if you are looking for a great tablet I highly recommend this tablet to anyone.
Bought this tablet because I wanted something to use it for its apps and surfing the internet. It is brilliant, apps and websites load up really fast.
If looking to buy this tablet for the likes of netflix, prime, YouTube etc – the video quality is good and the sound quality is ok.
Overall a really good tablet and I have no regrets buying it.
I bought this to watch downloaded videos when travelling. The screen, play and sound quality was really good and clear. It runs all my apps really quickly. I haven’t really used the camera yet but I know someone else who has one and their photos are really good quality with this.
I bought this tablet for my daughter to use for educational Apps like Khan Academy Kids and EdShed. It works really well and we have not had any problems with it so far.
The set up was easy and it is fairly quick to turn on. Once on it loads Apps easily and smoothly. The sound quality is also good. Overall we are very pleased with our purchase.
Fairly happy with this product – excellent screen, lots of memory, fast and accepts a Samsung microsd 512gb card. It seems well constructed and back is non-slip. Two issues, some apps crash regularly. The sound quality is awful, zero bass really tinny, I have to use plug in or bluetooth external audio devices to watch a movie. Don’t know if this is normal sound quality, or something is wrong! And of course there will never be any software updates.
I mainly use this for watching videos on a bigger screen. Great quality screen, especially for the price, and good audio with both headphone jack and bluetooth. Very easy to use and customise, can go more than 24hrs without charging and easy to sync with google and emails on mobile. No issues at all with storing photos and using multiple apps at once.
Like other reviewers, I had never heard of this brand, which only seems to be available on Amazon. However, it is at a price that just cannot be beaten when you look at the specification. The set up was easy, especially considering the transfer of stuff was from a very old tablet so probably took a bit longer, but everything was fine. The battery has lasted two whole days but only takes an hour and a half to fully charge which I think is quick. It’s super speedy and the sound and screen are both really very good indeed
With all such devices, a lot depends on what you use one for (and we don’t do gaming) but for internet browsing, movies, youtube, iplayer etc it is brilliant. This was a purchase for the OH but suffice to say, I have just placed an order for another one for myself!
I was a bit unsure at first about purchasing as i was originally wanting a well known brand but im so glad I took the chance,This is simply the best tablet I have had. Bought this tablet for going on holiday to watch soaps and brouse the internet.
Didn’t know what to expect as I didn’t know SGIN brand. I was very impressed with the graphics on this tablet, everything is so clear… photo does not do it justice. Was also impressed with it’s speed, no lag at at even though my internet isn’t good at times.
An all round great device at a great price.
First I want to say why I gave only 4 this is because I purchased the tablet on Prime Day, I actually believed I wad getting a wonderful bargain, at the time this tablet was reduced from 499 to 129.99, one day after I received this tablet it was on sale for just over 100, so I feel conned, hence the 4 stars.
This is my first tablet, I treat myself in the Prime day sale as I could not see my games very well on my phone anymore. I do have to say I love playing my games again now, and reading the news which I can also see clearly
I use the tablet all day every day, and up to now, over 1 week after receiving I have had no freezing or other problems.
The tablet is a good size, and easy to handle. I am a little disappointed with the camera, but I guess I have been spoiled with the camera I have only phone.
I have sound the sound quality is a little tinny, but using earphones greatly improved this.
I have had problems finding a case to fit the tablet, no one seems to make one, I know this is not SGIN fault, but it is still a pain when you have to take the tablet out of the case to take a photo or video, by the time your tablet is ready to take the photo, the moment had passed
Overall a good first tablet, arrived within a few days and well packaged. My only reason for marking the star rating down is because SGIN put the price up and down on an almost daily basis, which makes me as a buyer feel conned.
I’ve had this for a couple of weeks now and having bought it at a discounted price I wasn’t sure what to expect. I needn’t have worried, everything I have asked it to do so far has been actioned no problem. I use it mainly for watching videos on YouTube, Netflix, Prime video etc. and the video and sound quality has been excellent. No issues with running multiple apps at the same time either or with Internet browsing responsiveness. Great battery life too. Really happy that this was money well spent.
I needed to replace my old tablet and didn’t want to spend a fortune as it’s only intended for general use and not for work. It arrived promptly, well packaged and I easily transferred all my apps etc from my old tablet to this new one. The battery recharging is a HUGE improvement on my old Samsung, only taking 2/3 hours. Haven’t tried the camera or video yet, and but so far I’m very pleased with the screen resolution and speed of response. Would have liked a choice of cases for it as I’m struggling to find one with the correct camera hole but apart from that this is a good value tablet and would recommend.
*Follow up* I was sent an offer through the post of a 50 Amazon voucher if I posted a good review, which I did. To date no voucher has been sent so I’m disappointedly presuming it was a false offer simply to get the review! I will now say that I’ve not been able to find a matching size/camera case for this tablet, the only one being their own which doesn’t cover the screen, so I’ve had to buy a universal one which I have to remove if I want to use the camera. Nor does there seem to be a matching screen protector.

The tablet comes pre charged and was easy to set up, was surfing the net in no time , the screen is a good size but also small enough without being a hindrance when travelling.

Also sometimes my kids watch cartoons and play games on this tablet. In the box of the tablet, there was a wonderful case in which I could protect the tablet. This made me happy because additionally I should have paid at least 30-35 for such a quality case.
My technical knowledge of processors and speed is not bad. An 8 core processor is pretty good. Cores are the brains of processors. Cores are the component that actually performs the operations done by the processor. Each core can be simultaneously tasked with a different process. In other words, the more cores a processor has, the faster it can run. That’s why he gets his money’s worth.
For a tablet in this price range, I think the main memory is big enough with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage to store apps, files, photos and videos! In addition, it can be expanded with an SD card. I expanded it and still the system is running fast. About 400GB of data is loaded.
If the environment is suitable, I can hold zoom meetings. The front camera is pretty good and has image focus. I am very satisfied with the microphone quality. Of course, it is not an expensive microphone quality, but I did not need to buy an additional microphone.
