Love the watch, great value for the price, but the steel strap is actually nickel, so just be aware when ordering, because if like me you are allergic to nickel plating then in reality the watch only comes with one wearable strap. This is something that needs to be clearly stated in the info for the watch, as after wearing it for 15 minutes my wrist was swollen and covers in a rash due to the allegy. Also haven’t figured out how to place my own images as watch face, Nat as straight forward as it suggests in the item descriptio
It’s a lovely looking watch, takes ages to charge at first but then is a lot faster after that. The metal strap looks so good and the silicon one is nice and comfortable. Plenty of different dials to choose from. You can make and receive calls. If I had to find a fault, it’s that everything plays through the watch speaker, so you put your phone to your ear but the sound comes from the watch. It’s still a great watch.
Bought this watch i fully charged it on day one by the end of day two it will need to be charged again and I’ve not got the Bluetooth turned on so battery life not looking good vibration on the alarm not good i can hardly feel it vibrating comperd to my old fitbit one ? Need it to get me up in the morning But on a positive note watch looks good it has a lot of clock face’s to choose from and to many features to mention so not bad for the price
It’s a fantastic watch found it quite easy to setup the functions apart from one which is the oxygen measurement it’s available in the Dafit app but when you try to measure it nothing went through the settings on my phone I get the idea that it’s not in the phone itself apart from that good watch
As usual, the package arrived very quickly from Amazon.
This SUNKTA Silver Smart Watch arrived in a sturdy branded cardboard box, also inside the box are two straps, one is a Blue silicone/rubber, the other a Stainless Steel Bracelet style strap, there is also a Pin Removal Tool to remove pins from the bracelet so you can adjust the strap to the size of your wrist, 3 quick release pins (2 for the steel bracelet and a spare, the Blue strap already has them fitted), a USB-A to Magnetic charging cable, a User Manual, a dry cleaning cloth and wet wipe, plus a card guaranteeing the watch for 24 months.
When I I unpacked the watch I was genuinely surprised at the style and build quality, I have tested a few in this price range, but they were no where as nice as this.
As you can see from my video, the blue strap just clicked into place using the quick release pins, I haven’t tried the stainless steel strap.
I do like that in the box you receive the pin removal tool; I tried removing one pin, which was easy to do.
The main things I like about this watch are:
1. You can make and receive calls with it.
2. Its waterproof, so no problem when showering, swimming etc.
3. Notifications from my mail, WhatsApp, even my security camera etc.
4. You can listen to music with it, but the sound is quite tinny as you’d expect
5. Pulse readings seems quite accurate.
6. Two straps are included, both nice.
7. The watch and app are both easy to navigate round.
I could go through everything that’s in the listing description but I’m sure you have already read it before reading my review, so I won’t repeat it, you can see the unboxing in my video, this is just my personal experience with it.
At the time of writing this review the price is 48.44, but at the moment there is a 5% discount voucher bringing the price down to 46.01, which I personally feel is and absolute bargain!
The squares on the table I use when photographing and videoing items are 1cm squares, you can use them to help you judge the size of items I photograph.
I hope you have found this review and video helpful.
This review is of the Silver Steel+Blue option but other colours are available The Smart Watch is supplied in a slide out branded box which contains the watch itself which is not attached to any straps. Two are supplied, in this case a silver steel one and a plastic blue one. There is also a handy tool for removing links from the steel bracelet and the spring fixings with a spare in my case as well as a USB charging cable, screen wipes, instructions and a 2-year warranty.
The watch is 42mm in diameter with a large colour screen that is black when not in use. It was a bit fiddly fitting the steel strap as the holes for the clips are quite tight, but I managed it in the end, and they are the quick release type which helps removal. The charging cable is magnetic and bespoke so make sure you do not use it. You also need to remove the plastic covers from the front and back before use.
You need to use it with the associated Dafit app which is in the Apple or Google stores. It connects to your phone via Bluetooth and is simple to pair and set up such as personalising the watch while the date and time are updated automatically. A useful feature is the phone function with up to 8 contacts being stored in the app plus you can answer and return calls as well as read text messages. This works well when you get used to talking to your watch although you have to remember it is on loudspeaker and others can hear as well!
The watch also has a built-in heart monitor which seems to be accurate and fitness information is captured on the watch and associated app. There are a number of fitness modes accessed via the second button which work well and seem to be accurate from initial testing along with alarms and a stopwatch function. There are a wide range of watch faces, both analogue and digital from the minimalist to garish with others available for download so you should find something to suit.
The screen is activated by pressing the button or swivelling your wrist although this has to be a sharp movement rather than the subtle operation of an Apple watch. The screen is touch sensitive and quite responsive in use although the text and icons can be a bit small in some modes. The battery life is good, lasting 3 to 5 days with intermittent use and it charges quickly via USB. The case is sealed to IP67 standard meaning it is protected for up to 1m of immersion for up to 30 minutes, so is fine for general use but not for swimming.
Overall taking into account the current price of less than 50 as long as you remember to tick the box for the 7 voucher, this is a clever smart watch at a great price. It is a step up from the budget offerings with the built-in heart monitor, touch screen and phone features but does not quite replace an Apple watch with no pay options and an interface that is not as slick. It looks stylish and well-made and while it needs to be looked after a bit more than a traditional watch it should last well and give good service.
Smart watch for mem looks great and works a treat. This is great especially for the price, I have tried a couple of these and they vary in price and reliability, this one is the best I have come across, I like that you get two different straps, so you can choose what you want without having to order and wait for another strap. The face is very professional and looks much pricier that you expect it to. I like all the extras that you come with this, it works a treat, and the display is very nice and reliable.
This Smart Watch for men is really great value for money and is a fraction of the cost of the big brand names.
The first thing to say is that if, like myself. you have small wrists then this watch is going to be rather large. I normally wear watches of 38mm diameter, this is 42mm and feels very big to me, that being said the amount of information capable of being displayed on the screen absolutely warrants its size.
Included with this watch are two straps (smart and casual), a link remover tool, a pkt of screen wipes and soft cloth, a 2 year guarantee, a charging cable and an instruction booklet (I actually found it easier to read the PDF file attached to the product listing).
Set-up is super easy, download an app connect to your phone via Bluetooth (2 connections necessary if wanting to use the phone feature) and adjust settings as per your requirements. The interface looks quite complex initially but becomes very obvious once using it. Some settings, such as personalising the watch face or setting alarms, can only be made via the app on your phone whilst others can be done on the watch itself.
The phone feature is very good in use with the audio being nice and clear and up to 8 contacts being stored in the app plus you can return calls. Texts can be received but not sent from the watch and the last 5 texts are stored on the watch. If there is a break in the Bluetooth connection or you make a call from your phone you do need to restore the connection on your watch.
All the fitness features, of which there are many, work as expected and are, as far as I can tell, pretty accurate. The weather app is synced to your phone so should be accurate and the alarms and stopwatch work perfectly.
Altogether this is a very impressive watch for the money.
My expectations of this watch were a bit of an unknown. Considering that some of those I’ve tried before not being brilliant, this is surprisingly good, in fact excellent.
If I’m honest, this watch is much better than my Galaxy Smart Watch. To be fair, I don’t use it, I just don’t really like smart watches. I got this for my grandson, who is very pleased with it. Unlike many others, you can actually make and receive calls using the watch.
Functionality is exceptionally good, much too much to list here! A read of the product description though, will give you a pretty good idea. This watch is solid and weighty, and the quality feels (and looks) premium. This is of a standard perhaps not expected for the price, but it really is good.
I do have a slight niggle though, and that is that you cannot wirelessly charge, and you have to rely on the single magnetic attachment USB charger lead. Not the end of the world though.
There are included, 2 x straps — both very high quality. 1 x Silicone, and 1 x metal bracelet (including pin removal tool for adjustment), and spare pins. It is easily adjusted, as is the silicone one. The display is clear, sharp, bright, with high contrast. There are options for watch-face, analogue and digital, and it’s suitable for Android and IOS. I have set up on Android, and it was really simple to do, in fact very simple. this is easy to connect via the app.
The watch is IP67, meaning you can bathe, swim, and shower etc wearing it without worry. Full battery charge usage lasts between 3 and 7 days, which is decent.
To summarise, this watch is really good, much better than expected, superb quality, and great value, too. So much more than a basic fitness tracker, this is a super product, with a wealth of general functionality. I can fully recommend.
I hope this has been helpful
At all times you must remember the price point of this watch. Compared to branded watches, it’s a slither of the cost so don’t expect perfection from it.
Overall for the price this watch is great. Below I’ll let you know the short comings of the watch so you know exactly what you are able to do with this super cheap watch when compared to others.
Really easy to get everything set up, download a free app, Bluetooth connection between phone and watch.
The app is easy to navigate, which provides statistics from the watch (but these are available on the watch as well) plus other supporting activities like changing watch face image, software updates etc. The app is also where you sync contacts from your phone to the watch, alongside a picture if you want. The picture is very small on the watch, and you can only sync 8 contacts at most.
The watch faces are plentiful on options, and does have extra faces available to be downloaded for free. These seem heavily child friendly and oriented, but there are options for all if you search long enough.
The watch doesn’t support text messages, so can’t receive or send them on the watch.
However you can choose what other notifications comes through to the watch, so Facebook messenger and WhatsApp messages come through all okay.
You can set up the watch to take all sound from phone, including phone calls. Making and receding calls to the watch is easy, with sound quality being okay, not perfect. As long as you are within a couple of meters from your phone, you can have a phone call via the watch.
It’s not 100% accurate with steps as a wrist movement might set it off, but I’ve found that with branded smart watches in the past so doesn’t concern me.
I haven’t tried the sleep monitoring and I won’t. As you have to wear the watch whilst sleeping, I found movements made the watch face light up and distracted me from the sleeping. The watch doesn’t appear to have an option for the screen not flashing up when it thinks you are trying to use or look at it.
Battery is great, long lasting so far but like most technology, I’m expecting a 2 year expiration on that battery life.
No mention of being waterproof!
Overall, if you weigh up the above short comings with the price, then this is a great smart watch.
May not have all the bells and whistles when compared to branded watch, but are those functions really necessary? Would you use them every day? For an extra 300+, would you really use them extra features enough to warrant the additional spend? No. So this watch is great and the one you need.
I had a lot of trouble getting this connected to the app initially. It was fine on an old phone but not my Nord 1+. Anyway, it suddenly did work and hasn’t been a problem since.
This has got a large clear face. A good range of faces to download. Measurements seem to be pretty accurate. That includes BP and heart rate as well as steps. I like that you get a choice of straps and the battery life is pretty good at a few days – longer if you put it on battery saver. The new aspect for me is being able to make and receive phone calls. I now have a full communicator on my wrist. The future has finally arrived.
