This pump has been working non stop protecting my pond from freezing completely. I’ve not had to clean it yet but the process looks really simple. Only gripe is it can be hard to position with a small base. Needs to be wider.
An excellent fountain pump which produces a continuous flow of water required for my needs. I added a 1 meter long piece of pipe given the depth of my pond and it continued to produce the required water I needed for my fountain.
Other than that, nicely compact, good power. Easy to set up. Yet to find out how easy it is to open up and clean.
The fountain is cheaper direct through Swell, but they don’t deliver the next day like Amazon. The fountain could be better, not as fine sprays as I like, more like gushes, but it’s ok. The pump is neat and compact, light and easy to assemble. Could have done with 15 metres of cable, but I’ll use an extension. The value seems good even when it’s currently 10 cheaper direct with supplier. Happy if it lasts three years, cable is submerged in flower garden with bark, so nice and protected.
This is a quality pump but note that the 700 model does not have an outlet for connecting tubing, only a fountain head. I am using it to flow water out of a drilled stone (having salvaged a suitable outlet from an old pump) – the flow is just adequate with a head of about 20cm so dont expect a gushing flow or the ability to raise water particularly high.
