We purchased these for our holiday. They sell similar abroad at the water parks but these are far superior quality and better value. Even great for keeping change, cash and notes as it all stays bone dry. only down side is the Face ID didn’t seem to work
Was a bit dubious- but all doubts cast aside after doing a paper test overnight. Bought for holiday- swimming/ caving/snorkelling etc. didn’t fail and meant we got some great pictures!
These were so good. We swam in the sea and used them for a week in a water park and no leaks. Can’t recommend enough. They are perfect for any valuables. I kept the room key inside along with my phone. Can’t recommend enough.
Tested these out twice (with kitchen paper, not phone) & no leaks. In fact, second test I completely forgot they were submerged but, 3 hours later, the contents were still dry. Would recommend.
Excellent- we took this on holiday and nervously used with caution however, after fully submerging is the sea and climbing water falls it was really put the the test. Absolutely recommend 5 stars
Just what was needed for a trip to Orlando, the waterparks and Discovery Cove. While I was a little nervous if it would work fully underwater, this was used for snorkelling as well as doing the sea bed walk at Discovery Cove. Worked fantastically, and have no complaints.
Been used many times since in the sea too and has no signs of wear.
I haven’t yet tested the water resistance of this product, but the locking water proof mechanism and the strap is very strudy and robust. It is also large enough for a Huawei p30 pro with a case, and maybe a credit card and cash, perfect for what I need.
So a very well deserved 5/5.
These are really good! I was scared to try it but they definitely work! The only thing is once the pressure of the water hits the screen, sometimes the screen doesn’t work
They look and feel quite cheap and flimsy so I tested them with paper inside to begin with. I fully submerged them in water and they are watertight, nothing was wet inside. The touchscreen on my phone didn’t work very well through it though which was disappointing as I wasn’t able to use it as I wanted.
I bought this item for a campervan trip, where we were planning on paddle boarding.
I forgot the lanyards that came with the pouches at home. We bought x2 cheap ones at a local North Wales shop.
Anyway… 10mins in to paddle boarding I fell in the lake and whilst trying to climb back on my paddle board the lanyard snapped – Phone pouch and camper keys sunk to the bottom of the lake along with my pride. Nightmare!
Fast forward 11months… I get a call from a guy who’s diver brother in law, found the pouch with my phone in the lake. He charged it up, found a recover phone number and called me to reunite me with my old phone.
DO NOT FORGET THE LANYARDS!!!
Was very concerned about popping my iPhone into the water with a product that costs this much around it but was surprisingly pleased.
No water inside through the ten times or so I used it in saltwater for snorkelling.
I have an iPhone SE so slightly smaller iPhone and had to pull the case closer to the camera to get the picture clear. I also found that photos were challenging to take when underwater so I opted just to run the video then cut down after, or screenshot for photos. Started the video before going in and stop it when coming out.
Strap is great, I put mine round my neck whilst snorkelling and it was solid. Pack of two i found a good idea so I could let one dry out (just in case) and use the other one.
This device works well underwater but when I used it for snorkelling and other water sports on holiday. The touch screen doesn’t work quite as well when it’s wet (as it believe it’s a human touch due to iPhone’s capacitive touch screen.
Sometimes, I thought I was recording for a while but it stops automatically. I’m sure there are ways around this by using ‘Guided access’ and only recording/stop recording through the volume buttons but this requires you to set it up ahead of time.
Otherwise the quality is good and the footage is very clear as long as the inside is dry. It seems sturdy but it doesn’t float so you might want to tie a float on it in case it falls off for whatever reason/peace of mind.
Would recommend it overall
I really like how I am able to use and take pictures in the pool on holiday. Now I can use my phone in the pool with our being worried I’m going to drop it. Would definitely recommend to buy worth every penny
Love them, I use them to put my phone in while I’m working outdoors. I am a gardener and have my cuddly hands or cloves on and i can still use the camera and the touchscreen with this pouch! I am so so happy! finally my new phone will stay clean and dry even in the rain! Highly recommend for Plasterers, window cleaners etc! I am not sure how long the push will last, but since there is 2 i am happy with the value for money!
I don’t normally review products because of lack of time but I thought this product deserved the time. I used the pouch for the first time today, 1 hour session on the sea in challenging choppy conditions, jumping and crashing. The Hauwie P20 pro was located in my wetsuit and not a single drop of water got past the seal. Figured this is the ultimate test for a product designed to keep your phone dry. Weldone, great price point too…
Used these cases whilst on holiday and they were great to get some pictures in the sea whilst snorkelling. Our phones stayed completely dry and the strap is useful to have around your neck or wrap around your wrist whilst in the sea. Using the touch screen became a bit tricky after the phone was submerged a few times but I think this was due to the water pressure, and could be resolved by wiping the case down before going in the water again (there was no damage to my phone it was simply because the outside of the case became too wet and this was quickly resolved by wiping down the case and then using again perfectly.) Great value for money and will be handy to use on all of our future holidays.
Bought these for when I head out paddle boarding.
Do the job perfectly and I can fit my iphone11pro in there no problem.
The little catches can be a bit fiddly opening and closing again, but I’m putting that down to just having to get used to it and a bit of practice.
Only drawback is the supplied lanyard.
It’s rubbish.
I like the idea that it’s adjustable but it just doesn’t stay put. I’ll set mine to where I want it (not too long that it flaps about loads) and within minutes it’s slipped and it leaves my phone hanging down below waist level which is annoying as hell as it just swings about and sometimes catches me in the jubblies which can bring a tear to the eye!

I’ve been trying it for a couple of days and I can highly recommend this product due to its noticeable quality. The products of Syncwire are high-quality and for a reasonable price in general.
The presentation is absolutely nice; clear instructions and information about the product and warranty. Once you buy it, you will receive an email with even more instructions on behalf of the seller. I can say their customer care is exccelent.
I tried the product leaving it under water for more than 1 day and there was no leak: the paper inside stayed dry. On the other hand, the material on top is made of hard plastic. The hook is also made of a hard plastic as you can see in the attached screenshots.
I can highly recommend this IPX8 certified phone pouch following the proper instructions of the manufacturer. I wouldn’t use it for a “heavy phone” or for very active and demanding activities since the plastic where the hook is supposed to be doesn’t seem as strong as it looks, even though it’s clearly made of a strong plastic.
Ordinarily, I’m a fan of Syncwire products. OK – their reviews might be inflated with the email encouragement of “Lily” offering free products to testers in exchange for nice reviews, but notwithstanding that their kit is generally great quality and good value. Not always though, it appears…
As I’ve just taken up kayaking, I wanted to buy a waterproof phone case to protect my valuable smartphone. Seeing Syncwire’s two for one offer, I chose theirs with a sense of optimism and confidence. At the same time, I also bought a couple of waterproof bags from different manufacturers, for storing larger items.
When the order arrived, i immediately opened the Syncwire phone pouches.
The first thing I noticed was the nice packaging and instructions for use. On testing the fit of my Huawei P20 Pro, it slipped easily inside and could be effectively operated once inside. So far, so good…
When attempting to close the pouch, the mechanism proved fiddly. The two plastic latches – one at each end of the opening – were tricky to insert into the corresponding slots, making me slightly anxious about the integrity of the seal. Nonetheless, I was pretty satisfied.
When I opened the two waterproof sacks I’d bought though, my views changed immediately. Each stuff bag came with a free gift of a waterproof phone pouch , which I’d thought would be throwaway junk that I’d not entrust to protect my precious ‘phone. It was therefore a surprise to see these free gifts were identical pouches to the Syncwire ones, except displaying different brand names! Had I not ripped open the packaging of the Syncwire ones, I’d have sent them back for a refund.
It’s disappointing to buy a supposedly premium product, only to find identical items being given away as freebies. It’s rocked my faith in Syncwire’s products as high quality, value for money items.
It just goes to show that paying more does not guarantee better quality goods. This will be me off Lily’s Christmas card list, I reckon…

Haven’t given 5 stars for durability as it’s still early days but it looks robust enough for my needs when out Kayaking. I’m actually writing this review with the phone in the waterproof case, so touch screen works perfectly. Face recognition is fine too. Like the neck strap as it’s got a really solid plastic clip. I’m going to add a small flotation aid to the strap for further reassurance but that’s not needed if the neck strap is used. Overall, I am impressed by syncwire products and this is no exception. Now I’ve seen it, I’m going to purchase another 2 pack for my kids iPhone 6s. Me and my wife have iPhone 11s and it provides ample space. I removed the phone to take the picture after typing the review.
