I bought this to replace my ageing A6. It’s better in all ways but one – battery life. It won’t last all day on a single charge, which my old A6 does. The A8 expires at about 18:00 if I try to use it all day. It is however quite a bit lighter, the difference I suspect mostly down to the smaller battery – swings and roundabouts I suppose.
Replaces a very old Samsung Tablet which had got very slow.
First thing I noticed was that the viewing angle is quite critical and the brightness varies across the screen. It also has a sort of metallic effect which I did not have on my old tablet. Screen otherwise has good resolution.
Otherwise seems to work well and am overall pleased with it. Just the screen lets it down.
I bought the Tablet, + a cover, + a keyboard, and + a mouse for less than the full price same product. Working really well so far. I don’t need an ultra up-to-date version as I use a laptop and a PC both with W 11. It does the job I need it to do really well.
I would have expected that Amazon, despatching such an item to a UK address, would have made sure that it was suitable for use in the UK, including the charger.
I purchased this to replace my old Laptop and am not disappointed it was easy to set up (I am not to tech savvy) and easy to use very pleased with my purchase
I was misled as I purchased this on the understanding that I could install WhatsApp without needing a phone. This was not so as when I tried to install WhatsApp it told me I now needed a much later phone.
