The flash Steelbook i believe is a Amazon UK exclusive here in the UK as i cannot find it via any other website even though it is not stated as exclusive.
The Movie itself is Good but problematic in the sense that it truly doesn’t know where to take the DC universe as clearly displayed at the end when Barry meets his Bruce Wayne and he is different, But this is not the movies fault it is James Gunn’s as these later DC movies im 2023 were already being filmed or wrapped filming when James Gunn took over.
Overall the CGI is sketchy in spots but the movie was enjoyable.
This steelbook is simply Lovely, Its super glossy, Features the Flash logo on the front and the effects of the lightning span all the way to the back of the steelbook.
Inside artwork you get Keatons Batman with the two Different Barry Allens.
The steelbook Feels premium and Features both the 4K UHD discs and the Standard Bluray disc.
If you are a DC fan you should enjoy this movie and it would be a perfect addition to a collectors collection.
Highly Recommended
Hmmm, left more to the imagination that actually putting it in the movie. Not a bad one to pass time. The sequel should be even greater….like provide more context of what happened to Barry in the Speed Force…..but overall I had a giggle and loved i
And regret believing the negativity and wish I’d seen it in the cinema. What I really liked is no one had all the answers or was over powered to insta-save the day. Felt like they were really up against it. Acting was fine. I liked alternative Flash. 4 stars.
The film was quite good, the effects were very good except near the end when they were absolutely brilliant. Seeing all the different versions of superman and Supergirl was fantastic, especially finally getting to see the Nic Cage version of Superman was very special. this dark haired version of Supergirl was a bit of a disappointment. I’m not sure I like the quirky version of the Flash or his costume but the film was very enjoyable.
…… But not a classic, either.
I was expecting trash and got a decent movie. A bit over-long and some of the VFX are surprisingly poor, particularly considering the size of the budget. Even Ezra Miller’s good it in, if you ignore some of the stories floating around about him.
A solid movie, but not amazing.
A competent superhero movie using the movie character from the DC film. Somewhat complicated storyline introducing different characters who have played title roles for Batman, Superman and introducing new characters (albeit briefly in CGI) but still not using the TV series characters was disappointing, as this would have added a unique cross over effect, much sought after by DC movie buffs. On the whole it was enjoyable and saw the main character maturing through the experience, so a worthwhile viewing.
Very good acting from Ezra Miller who has to create two versions of himself one a shouty teen the other a matured Justice League member. The story is pretty meh! I thought I’d like the central idea better, perhaps that’s the writers fault. That said a Batman played by Michael Keaton is still a great watch, and with less time unconscious Supergirl might have jacked up her power against Zod. Having written themselves into the same corner as Dr Strange, they can only stop fighting the supervillain and go back altering time. Bleh! Supergirl was their go to winner, so why nerf her?
Not bad! at all very watchable movie, getting a bad rape, some re-shot CGI not coming up to par
By people who would no the first thing about compositing and effects! give them a break.
Good movie!
Ok, I’ve got a thing for comic book movies so I was probably always gonna buy this anyway tbh. Not gonna lie, this was way better than I thought it would be. I definitely enjoyed watching it.
A amazing film that brings out the best in all ages…fantastic screen play and excellent performance from all….7star perchance a must have blueray/dvd for any DC fans collectio
It was a brilliant film don’t see what people have complained about to be honest. It had everything:Action,Drama,Comedy. Loved seeing Michael Keaton on the big screen again. Admittedly in the start it’s a bit slow but once it pick ups it’s a brilliant movie!!!
I love the DC films and this was a hit and miss. When I think of the Flash he is a character I love and whilst I didn’t mind this film I am not sure whether it is how he played him but he seemed a lot different from the justice league film.
The Flash has the best of the new and old coming together to take you on a worthwhile time travelling movie.
Oh yeah and it has some pretty cool cameos as well!! Haha
Much of the CGI, especially the fight against Zod and his cohorts, is absolutely shocking.
Definitely no sign here that DC is getting its s*** together quite yet.
The one saving grace however, is ironically the biggest sign of DC’s woes. Sasha Calle as Supergirl is a refreshing change from the usual blonde cheerleader type we usually get. Just a pity they aren’t planning on sticking with her .
I can understand the lead actors personal drama may have been a factor. I can understand that Superhero fatigue is a thing, particularly when it comes to the barrage of superhero movies over the last 20 years.
As this is linked via it’s characters to the Zack Snyder directed efforts and their poor quality and interpretation, folks are probably just burned one too many times. With Black Adam, Shazam and the Wonder Woman sequel lumped into the equation, it’s easy to see why audiences have given up.
Which makes it an extra pity that just when DC films finally has a winner on their hands, nobody paid attention.
The choice to scrap where this movie was originally going at it’s conclusion is a crying shame. It was already rebooting a broken universe, only to find being rebooted itself.
A lot of hard work has clearly been put into the creation of this film. Director Andy Muschietti and crew can be proud of their accomplishment.
It’s funny, it’s got heart, and it’s got Michael Keaton as Batman being badass.
Contains Spoilers. Check out the guy filming the Flash outside the coffee shop in the opening credits. It’s real quick but he’s there. Not only does this movie have ****SPOILER**** Michael Keaton as Batman and Christopher Reeve as Superman, it’s got Phill Webster too!
