Installed to my existing hardware fine, software easily installed on PC, had no problems whatsoever. Updated itself as well. It’s running latest Microsoft Windows and updates regularly. It is extremely fast on boot up and running. All my peripherals work fine, printer, monitor, USB hub etc. Most of my existing programs run very well, only some oddball old ones won’t, but that’s no problem, replaced with newer ones.
I am very happy and pleased with this purchase. Would recommend.
PS. This version of Windows (11) is great, best since Windows 7
I needed a mini desktop more powerful than my HP 14s computer and this PC does the job. It will certainly replace any old desktops you have lying around and is the 3rd second most powerful PC in my house.
Gaming is great, however you must play at medium to low settings to achieve a playable frame rate, this PC was not designed for gaming.
Up sides is the APU, it’s fast, with 6 cores Windows 11 Pro runs like butter with the preinstalled 16GBs of RAM.
Apps launch am quickly, even more intensive apps like Cinabench.
One reason I’m taking a star away however is there was a freezing up fault I encountered every few weeks. At first I thought it was the new RAM of 32GB I fitted, however this was not the case after using Memtest86+. It was a faulty driver that would the cause the whole computer to lock up, with no option of safely shutting Windows down.
I was skeptical when brought this due to all the other mini that claim specs on website and end product is not that. This was actual everything it said on website apart from issues swapping ssd nmve.
It is for sure not for gaming as the graphics is integrated and there is no space to add any. It is very good computer for other jobs. I am talking from the perspective of a developer/programmer – perfect, small, quiet and fast but not furious 😉 I am going to stick to this design for a while instead of laptops. I am really supprised about the quality overall. I do recommend a console for gaming – always. So appart of gaming – it will do whatever you want, very quickly and the fact it is so tiny makes it a giant!
This one does run hot at times (i do have a warm flat to be fair) so I went into the BIOS and altered the fan to kick in at 85C rather the the default 90C and even when the fan does come on, its not for long and not that intrusive. I can highly recommend this mini pc.
I was concerned about the graphics, particularly, but they’re better.
With Windows 11, this takes about 10 seconds to boot up, I never bother with sleep mode any more.
Another big difference is no fan noise – really impressed that I’ve got such a good spec pc, with a 1Gb SSD, plenty of USB ports, ethernet, wifi and bluetooth for just 315.
Never heard of Trigkey before, but this appears (from the outside) to be a quality piece of kit.
This PC is small but mighty. It is able to run FPS games such as fornite. Comes with pre-installed windows 11 pro. Pretty much plug and play. Overall, highly recommended this pc!
Got the 3750H with 8GB DDR4 and 256Gb NVMe.
Works as it should, very snappy, all updated very easily within the Win11 update.
Upgrading the NVMe or the Memory is pretty straight forward. 4 screws on the underside, bottom comes off and gives access to the memory, NVMe and additional 2.5″ bay for expanding storage. I upgarded the memory from the 8GB supplied to 16GB 2*8GB of Samsung 3200MT.
Only issue I have is the speed of the DDR4. The ram used is Crucial 3200MT but nowhere within the BIOS can I see where to enable DHCP (XMP) so the memory is running at its designed speed. Whilst in general usage this is fine anything else can that requires the additional speed does slow down a little.
Just a little note about 3200MT, the MT stands for Mega Transfers which is the amount of bits that are transfered between the memory and the chipset/CPU and closely correlates to the 3200Mhz that the chips are designed to run at.
Design, the lead to the SATA is routed and squashed between the SDD and wifi cards. The fan turns on too abruptly. The bios backup battery was missing, so questionable QC. The plate screws have screw thread compound that makes them very hard to remove. Warning, the strip cable to the Sata disc is VERY fragile.
Amazing little piece of device considering the price. Those with extra knowledge can overclock this device fully via bios and internal OS programs, and you’ve pretty much got a 2015 top mid tierish gaming pc which fits in your pocket :).
Obviously this isn’t supposed to be a gaming machine, and it’s something that you’d buy because you’ve got a proper job and some serious work to get stuck into and need a decent desktop that’s not going to take up a lot of space and kee…. ok so will it play Fortnite or not then.
The answer is yes. Just about. I’m running it at 1366×768 on this dinky 13 inch laptop size monitor and it’s knocking out 60fps no worries on minimal settings. Frame rate will drop off anything higher than mmedium view distance but with textures on lowest, meshes on low and view distance medium there’s no lag at all no frame drops. See my video. bump it up to High meshed and medium textures and it will still do around 60fps most of the time with a tiny bit of lag around hitting weak spots etc, but the graphics quality is *vastly* improved and it’s still smooth enough to be very playable. On mine it’s using the “performance” render engine which is marked as (experimantal) but it seems to be vary good. I’ve added a second video (sorry that they’re taken from my phone) of the higher performance mode I’v just mentioned. As you can see, if the excel spread sheets and microsoft project work ends up getting you down, you’ll be able to crank some 90s instead with this thing 🙂
As for the machine itself, I’ve gone for the cheaper 256GB storage and 8gb ram option here, plenty for the above.
With the “coupon clipping” etc I think this came to something mental like 380 in the end whic is great value for this nippy little desktop.
I’m tempted to have a go at getting it to dual boot with Linux also to get some proper work done on it 😉 but the Win 11 install that came with it was configured and up and running in no time.
Tiny little thing it is, you won’t believe the size of the box it somes in!!!
Get one. 🙂
Fan noise is not noticeable even under load.
All in all I’m super impressed.
