It’s difficult to actually review this as I don’t go to India until May so can’t test it out! I can only say that it looks fine and it will be useful having the USB ports incorporated into the unit.
Great multi adapter for India, for a three point plug and two usb ports. The only drawback is that sometimes, sockets/switches are very close together in India, which meant that the adapter overlapped the ‘on’ switch. Luckily I had bought some of the usual adapters also. However, I would recommend, for convenience.
Bought this for an extended trip to India, and used it extensively in Kolkata, Tajpur, Kurseong and Darjeeling. As the description states, it doesn’t modify the mains voltage, it’s JUST an adapter. Very sturdy and well-built, it performed faultlessly for the trip, and will no doubt be in use again in the future.
Used in Sri Lanka, did the job. In Sri Lanka a lot of hotels had a mixture of UK sockets and round head ones so good to have this adapter for the latter occasions.
Bought for a business trip to India. Primarily used to charge laptop and to charge tablet and mobile. The USB’s are 2A so pretty quick at charging. I have no issue in recommending as it is not overly expensive.
One thing to note, the larger international hotels typically have international sockets that take EU and UK standard plugs. Don’t rely on this though!!
I bought it to go to India, to charge my phone and mp3 player. I don’t have anything to plug in, but others in my party might, and if I use it again which I intend to dip, I might.
