A useful extra light source when doing macro work , the tilt head attachment means you can aim the beam . I also like that you can alter the brightness and tone .
Great for lighting macro subjects and also works in low light situations for portrait work.
I haven’t tried it as a video light.
Perfect product for pictures especially for pics of yourself/small parties aswell and you just want to take the Instagram shots. It’s becoming common to use these outside to take your pics so don’t worry. You can change the light colour and the brightness for the pictures. Long battery life and easy to charge. Definitely recommend to everyone and worth the price.
Slight issue with the way it integrates to some of the tripods and the lack of an independent stand means that it can be somewhat more difficult to use dynamically. I hoping to purchase a go-pro in the near future to see if it works better with something that is supposed to be used in a more dynamic fashion.
The photographs show the difference that can be made using it’s small but powerful light and show the three light modes. You can easily switch between the two and there is an added effect of switching lowering the brightness and increasing it depending on needs.
Really good small light. I use it for shooting video and it’s really portable with the ability to change white balance and also charge it via USB C which is really handy. It goes everywhere with me. It fits in the pocket and is very bright if you need it to be.
If you want something you can fit into a small purse or in your pocket then this works well. It’s pretty bright but more like a spotlight. Gets the job done for content creation too
I use this for insect photography. Outside at close quarters it makes just the difference on a dull day. It’s not enough to fully light the subject unless you are very close, but enough to give the image a lift. The fact that you can add other modules is a great idea. Very compact, so ideal to keep in your pocket until needed.
