The Universal Swivel TV Stand/Base Table Top TV Stand has proven to be a valuable addition to my home entertainment setup. As someone who values flexibility, stability, and aesthetics, this stand has delivered on many fronts, although it’s not without a few minor drawbacks.
The stand is compatible with a wide range of TV sizes, making it a versatile choice for various setups. It’s compatible with VESA mounting patterns, ensuring that it fits most TVs securely. The inclusion of multiple sets of mounting holes adds to its adaptability.
While the stand is generally easy to assemble, the process can be a bit time-consuming due to the various parts and adjustments. Also, some users may find it challenging to attach the TV to the stand, especially if it’s a larger and heavier television.
Product is A1, quality, materials used, does what it says on the tin. Bought to use with a 24inch TV in the caravan. Built the stand in minutes, plenty spares supplied for different TVs. Highly recommend.
This is the best product I’ve bought from Amazon! Very good standard of materials used looks fantastic and the fixings and instructions great. There’s a choice of 7 sizes of bolts with it so it will fit any tv and a Alan key/screw driver! Perfect very impressed highly recommend
We lost the original base to our small TV years ago and didn’t want it back on the wa after redecorating. This stand is sleek, strong and so simple to fit. We are really pleased!
A good purchase. Feels solid and fits tvs as advertised. For our smaller TV an extra height (it’s a little low) could have been useful – and some longer small bolts could also be useful (and a few more washers) – but overall very happy and at a good price point.
Good sturdy monitor stand that allows me to raise my monitor higher off the desk making more space free.
Being able to swivel the monitor at an angle is also useful.
I bought this for my 32″ curved monitor and didn’t think to check this stand was actually for a monitor. I did buy another for a monitor but this with support up to 35kgs seemed the better option. My monitor is a 32″ MSI MAG Artymis 324cp curved which isn’t far off 10kg which most monitor stands of the same type support up to. This arrived, fitted together easily enough however the whilst the mounting prongs support a VESA of 100×100, the fitting in the monitor is recessed and because of the curved edges to the mounting prongs, meant it wouldn’t fit in the recess. It was slightly too big.
FIX! I clamped the mount it in a vice and took a metal file to square off the edges of the prongs. 20mins later, fitted in the recess flush, screwed in using original screws that came with the monitor and it was perfect. Whilst it does come with different screws and rubber bungs to account for different fits, the bungs wouldn’t fit in the recess and still be able keep the 100×100 VESA pattern. The bungs sat in the recess so whilst the monitor needs 100×100 the bungs being sat off centre in the corner would only account for the equivalent of a 90×90.
So with a little fettling, this does work with monitors but do bare this in mind before you buy ESEPCIALLY if your monitor has a recess for the mounting plate. Would I buy another, too right as the thickness of the mounting prongs over the other stands mounting plate is a lot thicker and stronger. Whilst the other stand needed no fettling, I would take the extra sturdiness and support over a direct fit any day for the same price.
The original TV stand snapped off a junction with 28″ TV. This was small enough with the fixing section to the TV to enable the various cables to clear it. Bit fiddly to put together, but multiple fixing screws etc to match various makes and models. Would have like a more secure locked in fix from this stand to the TV, but it does the job well.
I bought this stand as all the others I looked at where too large to attach to the TV which also has a DVD player built in. This one was perfect. It was fine to build with clear instructions and looks classy. A little pricy for what it is but the cheaper ones wouldn’t have fitted.
I ordered the stand to replace the original manufacturer’s stand for my 23″ LG TV. The stand is sturdy and comes with a full set of parts so it looks like it will fit pretty much any tv/monitor. It took a while to identify which bits were the ones I needed. The instructions were OK.
Because the HDMI port on my TV is located in the centre of the TV when the tv was swivelled the plug fouled the upright of the stand. I had to order a 5 cm flexible HDMI lead to overcome the problem.
Before ordering check the position of any ports is to the side of the TV/PC.
The stand was half the price of the one offered by my local TV repair shop.
My initial concern was that the stand would not be sturdy enough to hold the TV in place, and that it might fall over, but it is definitely heavy and well balanced enough to hold steady.
The assembly instructions are basic, but adequate for even a on-DIY bod like me, so assembly was straight-forward, everything was included in the box, and I had no problems.
Fixing the TV in place was also simple enough.
The cable tidies are good, and you can’t see any dangling wires.
All in all, I am very happy with this swiveling TV stand, and I would have no hesitation in buying another one, should I need to in the future.
Bought a used 32″ TV that did not have a stand. This is a good looking and sturdy stand with a cable tidy system. Easy to assemble. Very happy with this purchase and would recommend.
Brilliant product. Easy to assemble and fit to a VESA 100 monitor. The only question was whether the base should be shiny side up – which I chose – or not. Very stable for a 24″ 16:10 monitor even at the top fixing. So good I have bought another.
I needed a new stand for a small LG television. I chose this stand because the fixing plate did not obscure the HDMI and power socket on the back of the television as many of the other stands did. Arrived the same day and was easy to put together. Instructions were clear and the individual components were labelled so there was no problem identifying which part to use. All in all very happy with my purchase.
It’s a bargain you cannot argue I’d happily buy more for the rest of the house what more can you say. Your cables are tidy. Good angle and it feels safe nothing for little fingers to grab
A solid stand which i use to hold my monitor securely for work.
As solid as it is, i wish it would allow more movement such as screen tilt or moving the screen up and down without having to effectively remove it from the stand.
It only allows a few set heights where the screen hooks into and swivelling of the screen side to side.
However, this isn’t designed for what i want so as a TV stand i would say this is great as you don’t need that sort of movement.
The build quality is good and feel solid and secure.
Overall i would say this is great for a tv stand but if you want a more flexible monitor stand i would choose another product.
Really great and stable product. I sometimes use my tv as an extra desktop monitor so the height adjustment is very useful.
Been a while since I’ve had to properly assemble a product as well so gave me something to do during quarantine.
