Ethernet connectivity: The standout feature for me has been the Ethernet gigabit port. It offers a stable and fast internet connection, which is crucial for my work that involves large file transfers and video conferencing.
Multiple USB ports: The 2 USB A 3.1 ports alongside the USB C 3.1 port have allowed me to connect an array of devices simultaneously, from external hard drives to mice. The data transfer speeds are commendable, making file transfers a breeze. It’s particularly beneficial for my MacBook Air 2019, which is limited in terms of ports.
Design and portability: The adapter’s slim profile and lightweight design are worth mentioning. The carbon fibre material not only adds a touch of sophistication but also durability. It’s been a constant companion on my travels, providing reliable connectivity without weighing me down.
However, I’ve given it 4 stars instead of 5 for a couple of reasons. Despite its impressive performance and design, the lack of a charging port is a notable omission. Being unable to charge my laptop through the adapter means I have to carry an additional charger, which is inconvenient. Additionally, I echo the sentiment that an extra port would enhance its utility even further. The adapter positions itself as a hub for connectivity, but with the increasing number of devices we use, another port could have made a significant difference.
In summary, this adapter is a robust solution for those looking to expand their device connectivity. It excels in providing fast, stable internet access and connecting multiple peripherals simultaneously. However, the absence of a charging capability and the limitation of just one USB C port mean there’s room for improvement. For anyone considering this as primarily an Ethernet port with the added benefit of USB connectivity, it’s an excellent choice. But if your needs include charging through the same hub, you might want to consider other options.
I use it to connect my laptop, 2 monitors and a wireless keyboard and mouse. Only issue is it tends to get quite hot after a while. Not sure if it’s a fire hazard.
Bought this rather than Dell D3100 docking station in order to run two 24″ screens from a Dell laptop and it does what the Dell station does but at a much lower price so well worth the money it costs.
Not sure that it will run UHD but the D3100 won’t either.
Smaller than expected but everything plugged in and working : laptop, keyboard, mouse and 2 additional screens for WFH. The best bit is when I do need to go into office simply unplug the 1 hub connection and off I go. Second set of everything at the office so again single plug in and ready to go again.
Liked the price compared to some other models… particularly the HP offering which my Company IT department recommended; it’s compact and I only needed to have 2 monitors on the go, I now have 3 screens (laptop inc.)
Check for compatibility with Laptop before buying…my HP Pavillion wasn’t but was in the middle of a new Dell laptop purchase and it works fine.
So far so good…v satisfied with my purchase.
Cannot fault the product works great out of the box and dead easy to set up.
The only feature it’s missing for me is the ability to support 1440p, it limits the imagine to 1080p, otherwise pretty much perfec
The device is small and very convenient to use. Perfect to set up a two monitors with a laptop for extended screens. Very pleased with the item and would certainly recommend.
This is the best product I have purchased in a long time! Simple connectivity to laptops to run two external displays, keyboard, mouse and external HDD. Plus added USB C support to charge compatible laptop.
Only down point a longer USB C cable to connect to the laptop would have been better but simply remedied buying an extension cable. It has the odd moment when the cable is slightly knocked and the screen go out but that can be expected.
I have used this for almost a year adding more accessories and haven’t been disappointed so far. Great product.

I bought it for my Mac because I needed a usb to plug in my keyboard and an additional screen now none of the usb ports are working so I can’t plug is anything. I would give 0 starts if I could.
The device worked straight away. Very easy set up and no hassle. Only problem is that is makes some annoying static noise when it is being used. Not sure if there is a way to get rid of the noise.
Found this great for hooking up my work laptop to dual monitors, and connecting up my own peripherals and USB headset. Can’t see a loss of quality, and everything just works. Very happy.
This is the second docking station I have bought after returning the first one. The issue with the other one was power connection error. So this one is working well and anyone having that issues can rest assure this station is going work well.
As of the price, I do consider it a bit too expensive. Although this is a cheaper option in the market, but such tiny accessory shouldn’t really sot this much in my opinion.
The only thing I think I’d improve on is the length of cable that connects from the docking station to the laptop by another inch at most for those who use risers to hold their laptops as mine dangles a bit, but this is very minor and does not affect performance.
I have recommended this to my colleagues who are working from home.
Using this to add dual screens to my laptop setup. My laptop only has one hdmi input, so by contecting both screens into this and then plugging this in allows a multi screen setup. Also has a number of USB ports for connecting printer, keyboard, etc. Well recommended.
Basically took it out of the box, plugged in my two monitor hdmi cables and box cable to my laptop and bingo it worked. Able to have my laptop closed and have 2 different screens on my monitors. Easy as pie. Brilliant quality for the cost.
Item arrived next day. Used it straight away. Working well on hdmi usb and charging. Only minus adapter has to be attached with no cover present on laptop itself. Bottom half cover had to be removed to connect adapter which is not an issues when working at home but might be trouble when out and about.
I work with photo and video, So the Sd reader is a life saver, this adapter takes two of your usb c slots but Gives them back and quite some.
My only wish is that it had a more solid way to stay fixed on my Mac
It does what it says. Make sure you’re aware of it’s limitations – you possibly have to remove Your MacBook cover to get it ‘in’ properly. And the Apple DVD player isn’t supported. But once properly seated it works! And I like it’s travel pouch.
