The extended mode for Windows allows having three different screens, including your laptop. However, due to the limitation of Mac, the 2 external screens will show the same image on Mac OS system computers.

This is good at providing a multi-screen environment for laptops that don’t have enough ports. I did find the display flashed off and back on again at random intervals, which was annoying.
For anyone looking for a dual HDMI output through USB-C, this is a decent adapter doing just that. I have used it on Windows and Linux (Ubuntu) with extended mode working perfectly to 2 full-HD monitors.
The adapter feels well-made with its short fly lead that is secured well in the adapter and it fit into the USB-C port with a positive connection. HDMI cables also fitted in the adapter well too. The image quality produced is excellent with no artifacts or distortion.
A word of warning though – ensure your USB-C connection supports Display Port Alt mode otherwise the adapter won’t work.
Husband reports it works really well and he is pleased with it. Easy to connect and with it being portable, can be used both at home and the office.
Makes work easier so it’s a win.
Using this adapter has streamlined my multitasking experience. Sending visuals to two external screens with such clarity has made presentations smoother. The portability due to its sleek design is an added advantage. While it worked flawlessly with my Windows laptop, mirroring was the only option on my Mac. Yet, the reliable transmission without any lag truly stood out.
I can confirm that this USB hub works well with the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra.
All the ports on the hub on accessible from the S23 Ultra and all work as you would expect.
While this hub works well in screen mirroring mode with a monitor or a TV the hub is especially useful for using the S23 Ultra in DeX Mode. You do this by connecting a HDMI cable from the hub’s HDMI output to a HDMI input on your TV or monitor. This essentially allows you to use your S23 Ultra as a desktop Android computer.
With the USB ports, you can attach a keyboard and mouse to control the S23 Ultra in DeX mode and also storage devices, such as flash drives, can be used with the USB ports. You’ve also got options for using SD cards and an Ethernet port for connecting via a cable to your internet router.
Great USB hub.
Simple to set up and start using and it works really well. No issues to report at all so far.
It’s really light and quite small, so great for taking with me when traveling for work.
This is a pretty competent USB-C hub, though at 47 it’s quite expensive for a model with only a single display output. You can get similar products for around 50-67% of the price.
I like the slimline compact design. Worth noting that your laptop must support DisplayPort Alt Mode 1.4 on its USB-C port in order to achieve the hub’s full display capabilities.
Connectivity is reasonable at 7-in-1, though I’ve seen models with faster 10Gbps USB ports for not much more.
I depend heavily on my laptop and need some peripheral expansion, I was surprised by this 7 in 1 USB C Hub at how well it has performed. This compact device easily converts my USB-C port into a 4K HDMI, 2 USB 3.0 ports, a 100W PD, and an SD/TF card reader.
The transfer speeds are lightning-fast and allow me to copy files from my external hard drives in seconds. The 4K HDMI port provides a crystal-clear display for my presentations and videos. The device itself is sleek and sturdy. I love the fact that it is compatible with a variety of Type-C devices which makes it incredibly versatile. It is the perfect accessory to expand the capability of my laptop
Overall, the 7 in 1 USB C Hub is a great accessory for anyone looking to streamline their workspace and increase productivity. it works well
A real workhorse, this little contraption has made my life smoother. Now, I can plug all my devices into one hub and each works flawlessly. The speed and reliability of the data transfer have been flawless, enhancing my work efficiency tremendously. The high-res video projection, on point. Plus, it doesn’t take much space on my desk and the plug-and-play aspect makes it a joy to use.
I have had a few of these in my hand and when they work they are amazing, and this particular one seems to be working fine without overheating too badly (they all heat up to a degree depending on usage).
I’m not going to go over each of the functions I will just highlight the main ones I find very useful, and the first one that stands out is the LAN/Ethernet connection and the next one is 4 k HDMI …now I don’t have a 4 k monitor but this still does the job just as good, the other functions such as the high-speed USB-cs and the card are just bonus.
Plugging it in, I felt a newfound sense of power, access to multiple functionalities at my fingertips. Files jumped across ports, their journey swift and seamless. Viewing my work on the big screen was a dream – sharp, vibrant, and engaging. Reliable internet and continuous charging ensured uninterrupted workflow. This tiny tech wizard seemed to bridge the gap between my needs and my device’s capabilities.
a neat 7 port hub that’s a little bit bigger than some but sports all the usual features. a little longer than some but a nice anodised feel to it. the fact that you can red/write to both card slots at the same time will be helpful to some.
This ESWO hub is made from aluminium, so it will be great for heat dissipation, the hub is lightweight at 62.4g so is great for travelling, and easily fits into a jacket pocket.
What appealed to me about this USB-C Hub is the gigabit ethernet. I needed it to work on a google Chromecast, and this hub worked perfectly for that.
The Chromecast is very picky on what hubs it will recognize, so I was really pleased when the Chromecast accepted this hub.
I used a cat 5e cable which is capable of 1000Mbps, I’m on a 500mb broadband packaged, and I was getting speeds of 320Mbps.
I then did a speed test using Wi-Fi, and I was still pulling the same speeds on Wi-Fi, so using a cable didn’t really improve my speeds on this device.
But it’s a 1Gbps port, so using this hub on a PC should get you significantly higher speeds.
But the most important thing for me was I could use a cable now if I wanted to, and the fact the Chromecast accepted this Hub was great!
All the USB ports worked perfectly, and the SD slots. This hub exceeded my expectations, and I’m really happy with it.
I’ve been using this awesome 7-in-1 USB-C Hub adapter for a few days now, and let me tell you, it’s got all the ports you’ll ever need! This little gadget has been a game-changer for my Windows laptop, allowing me to expand my USB options and even hook up an extra monitor for my work. But that’s not all!
I was blown away when I connected an ethernet cable to this hub and experienced lightning-fast internet speeds. It’s like my browsing went from snail-paced to turbo-charged! And hey, here’s the cherry on top: I can charge my laptop battery simultaneously using the USB-C charger. Its multitasking made it easy!
But wait, there’s more! This hub isn’t limited to just my Windows laptop. I tried it with my Samsung Galaxy S23 for Dex experience and Nintendo Switch for the addition of internet speed using the ethernet cable, and guess what? It worked flawlessly! Talk about a proper plug-and-play device.
On top of its incredible functionality, this hub sports a compact design and a lightweight body. It’s so convenient to carry around, whether heading to the office or working remotely from a coffee shop.
Trust me. If you’re looking for a versatile and reliable USB-C hub that does it all, I highly recommend giving this 7-in-1 wonder a shot. It’s a total game-changer!
USB C hubs come in a variety of sizes, but broadly they are grey alloy, rectangular in shape, with the width of the box getting bigger with more going on.
The main price driver is the number of display ports – mainly.
So really the baseline questions (that comes after do I have a USB C port that can do data and display) is how many displays do I want to drive.
If the answer is just the one, then this hub works, as it has a HDMI port at up to 4K@60Hz, your hardware dependent.
You also get a 100W USB C PD pass through charging port, and a couple of USB A 3.0 ports. There’s then a SD and TF card reader.
Lastly there’s a standard RJ45 Ethernet port.
All these ports will extend the connectivity of a Laptop that lacks these features.
In conclusion this is a useful compact USB C hub, offering frequently used connections.
This is a useful USB-C adapter. It has a shotrt (4″ or so) flying lead with a USB-C connector, and a metal body with two USB-3.0, one USB-C, one HDMI, one Ethernet and full-size and micro SD slots.
Most adapters at this price don’t include Ethernet, so that’s a useful inclusion. This is a nice way to hook up all the connectors a laptop requires when being used at a desk – monitor, network, keyboard and mouse, and you can hook up a power supply to the USB-C port.
Decent for the price – no complaints.
