This peeler may seem like just another cheap peeler but this is by far the best peelers I have ever used, I am able to peel my carrots and potatoes very easily and with very little cleanup effort. Great awesome stuff guys
Works great, waaaay better than regular potato peeler. Ergonomic and fast, plus little pieces on the sides makes it easy to cut out bruised spots without stopping to get a knife
This peeler may look simple and cheap but is very good. The best one I do have that is sharp enough and so easy to clean and the handle is just right. Others does rotate and are a pain to operate (blades) but this item is just right. No rust, no plastic and is just simple stainless steel made entirely. A peeler should just be simple enough to do the job with easy and to be thrown in dishwasher for cleaning without thinking on failing apart or rust.
This will be a pared down review for this peeler. It has one function, and it does it well: it peels. The handle feels nice on the skin, and using it is a slice of cake. A kitchen tool that definitely makes the cut. Anyone who is sharp will get a grip and purchase this. And at this price, it’s a real steel!
Just got this after watching a chef on TV use one so easily. This is, by far, the best peeler I’ve ever used. Just be careful because it’s so sharp, it cuts almost too easy, cutting through peels like butter. Definitely would recommend.
It just took me a little time to find one that made life easier. This one is sturdy, easy to clean and really does the job without screwing up my fingernails.
Probably the best peeler that I used. Since is all metal, the blade swivels easily and follows the contour. On others if the blade is mounted into plastic handle, the blade does not rotate freely. Blade is sharp so it functions as it supposed to.
This peeler is so easy to use! It makes life in the kitchen a breeze! We’ve tried less expensive ones and we are firm believers that you get what you pay for. This one is a “keeper”.
This is my ideal vegetable/fruit peeler for the following reasons:
1) It is all stainless steel. No frills, no cheap plastic parts that will break. It’s durable and functional.
2) This style of peeler is much more efficient than the kind where the blade extends straight up from the handle like a stick; I grew up using that kind, but this style is faster and easier.
3) It’s cost is low.
So if you want the best type of handheld peeler at a great price, this is a good option. I’ve used it on fruit and vegetables and it works well. I selected this because it doesn’t even have a rubber coating on the handle (which tends to get tacky over time and is just annoying and unnecessary), and I do not regret it.
I know this might sound crazy, but before this peeler I’d never used one before. Needless to say, this is the best thing ever! I don’t know how I survived without one before haha
I lost my last one and have tried others that were not easy to use. This item is very easy to use and is made well. I hope to have it another 5 years like my last one.
Simple is best. This is a perfect peeler and I peel A LOT of veggies, sweet potatoes and potatoes. Fits well in your hand, does not get slippery as you use it for long periods and easy on your wrists and hands. Just make sure you turn the veggies/potato and not the peeler as that will make your wrists ache in no time.
Its a solid peeler that pretty much does what it suppose to do, peel! Solid handle and sharp peeler.Only quib will be better if it is the peeler is wider.
For years now I’ve been using a knife to peel cucumbers (the big ones you buy at the grocery store with that disgusting slimy wax coating). This simple tool has made my life much easier. In a few swipes, I get rid of as much peel as I want while preserving as much of the fruit as possible. So it’s already paid for itself. I used to throw away about 1/3 of each cucumber because I was cutting too deeply into the fruit to get off the peel.
You gotta love simple products that are well-designed, sturdy, and reliable. This is one of my favorite purchases on Amazon all year.
I recently made this purchase looking for a new Peeler, since I threw my old one in the garbage by mistake. I tried this peeler after received it in the mail. It works wonder in the kitchen. I used on Potatoes and it felt like a hot knife cutting threw butter. I highly recommend this produc
I’ve bought some peelers more expensive and I’ve purchased cheaper, this one is the best. It is easy to hold and quite frankly, works. It also is sturdy, which sadly many of the others I’ve bought worked but fell apart after I attempted to peel a sweet potato.
