This clip is awesome, it allows you to take your controller with you to play game pass providing you have a good internet connection. However getting the clip to shut on the controller was not easy, I was worried it was going to snap but eventually and carefully it went on. Once it was on it felt solid and held my iPhone 12mini nice and snug. Definitely a good one to have in your travel bag. If you are someone who rages easily maybe ask someone else to put it on for you.
It was quite difficult to get the mount to hold around the controller, but once attached it works quite well. The spring mounted phone clamp doesn’t press the volume down button on my phone but still manages to grip it securely. The reset button isn’t obscured too much, and the USB-C port is easily accessible. The tilting phone clamp is on a ratchet that you tighten up using the thumbscrews, which wasn’t that obvious when I purchased it.
Great robust accessorie that frees up your TV and allows you to still play your favourite Xbox games the only drawback is if your phone is heavy the positioning can cause it to be too heavy putting a little strain on your wrist if gaming for prolonged periods of time
Some issues for some users but thanks to these reviews I was able take what I read into account and ensured I attached this to a spare controller and kept it in place to avoid it getting damaged by taking it on and off. It is very tight when first attaching, and take care as you do so, but it DOES fit a Series X/S controller and once in place it’s a sturdy grip. Initially I was disappointed reading some negative reviews here but having successfully set it up it I’m glad I ordered it anyway. 4 stars instead of 5 given due to being very tight and hard to attach initially, just persevere!
