Very easy to use, however i couldn’t get the letters get properly in the window so wasnt sure first time round if the letter i wanted was the one i pressed. But after using once its easy to get. Its not all aligned ideally, gives this proper retro look but it is to label few things around the house or school things and children love it it. Good value as you are also getting few different colour tapes. Good for what i needed it for.
This is a good label maker. Not hard tk figure out how to use and you can see the writing well. My only issue is that ots hard to make the letters straight instead of up and down.
This is a great label maker. It’s so easy to use and really handy to have. Labels can be made for pretty much anything. Really good to keep organised. It’s good quality and well made. Really good price.
Always wanted to try one of these and it’s very fun to make your own personal labels, you get plenty of spare rolls so you won’t be running out for a while.
While this is a great label maker, there are a few problems, when pressing down to emboss the label, I can feel the cover for the tape flex and shift about in my palm, it is pretty uncomfortable when this happens as it feels like it might crack or break under pressure, in the manual you do need to squeeze the handle to properly make a mark.
Speaking of which, while it does emboss well, my main problem is that you need to precisely line up the guideline on the right letter to make it perfectly level, the guide you use is off-center sometimes when you twist it. Even on the box, it says to check if your guide is correctly aligned by using the markings on the side of the dial for reference.
If that checks out the guide can still be off-center when selecting the right letter, so you will have to hold the dial while squeezing the handle to make sure the print comes out perfectly aligned, this can get very annoying.
Overall this is a great label maker and it is fun to use, but a few issues that need to be corrected.
One thing I do like is the instruction manual is very informative and it even has a troubleshooting section if you have a certain problem with it.
This reminds me of the old, branded label maker that I wanted as a child! You get everything you need to make embossed, sticky labels – a labelling gun pre-loaded with a tape, a set of five tapes of various colours and a good, illustrated instruction leaflet. It’s very easy to load a tape and the instructions are clear. I admit to finding it a little difficult turning the dial of the label maker but I am probably older than the target market and my hands are not as strong as they used to be. I was able to get it to work, however, and it printed the tape exactly as I expected it to. The maker cuts the tape cleanly and it’s really easy to peel the backing off to expose the sticky side of the tape. I will be using the labels in my craft making but I know the rest of the family will have their own uses. At the current price of 17.99 it’s comparable with other similar embossing printers. If it’s used a lot you need to factor in the cost of replacement tapes.
Easy to use label maker with good instructions.
Comes with 5 spare reels of tape in different colours with a black tape pre installed.
Simply move the dial until the letter you want is in the little window and pull the trigger.
When you have put the word you want in you choose the scissors icon and it clips the tape and puts a handy perforation on too so you can easily remove the backing.
The letters print in a straight line and I’ve had no errors. The rotary letter choosing dial doesn’t feel particularly sturdy (tbh the whole thing doesn’t feel particularly well made) so it makes you careful with it, but it works.
Bit of retro fun and now everything is going to have labels on it.
I love this label maker! It’s small so it can be stored very easily and comes with a great variety of colours of label! Easy to use and 1 roll of label has lasted me ages
I bought this as it reminded me of one that I had back in the 80s. Labels have a real retro look – bit wonky in places but I love that. Very easy to use and no need for batteries. Comes with different colour tapes. Bit of a faff to get the sticky back off but I used tweezers which helped. It does slightly damage the corners when you bend them to get the backing off, so I recommend leaving extra space to cut those bits off when you attach the labels. I used mine for the kitchen cupboards but my husband already wants to steal it to label stuff in the garage. It’s exactly what I wanted, and I echo what the reviewer above say – it’s great fun.
My Dymo broke and I saw this one had better alignment and spacing. It’s so much better. No my labeling wont be all wonky. The picture attached has the dymo labels at the top and this one at the bottom “cutting bits”
Grate little product. No battery no plugging in . Easy to use . My grandson has now borrowed it. I don’t think I will see that again. It come with black and coloured rolls. It quick easy and it does a good job. So many use, from labelling the stuff in my craft room to labelling lunch boxes . Value for money yes . Would recommend.
This label maker has been an absolute gem of an item to use.
Very easy to use and the labels are excellent when produced, I have bene using mine to label my baking supplies after using a sharpie and sticky labels for years.
I would highly recommend this item is you need to label anything.
Quality, prints can be done easily on the various coloured ribbons included. Great office tool and ideal for students. Easily fitted self adhesive labels done in no time at all. Great product. The only slight negative issue is smaller children might need help to produse a quality print as its more suited to adult hands having strength to pull the trigger back far enough to create a flawless pri
It was my first time using this type of label printer. I found it easy to manoeuvre and the labels adhere very well to various surfaces. Print is clear. It came with 6 rolls of tape, 3 black, 1 blue, 1 green and 1 pink. The tape was easy to load in to the device. Comes with full English instructions. The result is good as long as the arrows are correctly aligned.
Such an useful little device, it can print any letters or numbers. It automatically prints so that you can peel off the end so it becomes a sticker. You can use it to label anything or use it for price tags. This made my life so much easier, it’s so much prettier than using premade price stickers – it has a rustic and hip feel to it, the print is in 3D. I love it, highly recommend!
