Gets the family playing and laughing together. Both my kids and their grandparents play it. Haven’t looked at the adult cards yet. It would be good if you could buy more pictures as after 3 or 4 games you have nearly used them all. Obviously you get different reactions each game, but would still like to have new pictures

Brought this game to a party we sat and played this game and the memories I have of this game are unreal defo would recommend someone this game if they needed a cheap and funny game to play but I found it’s more for the people who know about memes though

Bought this for a “Lads Night” but turned into family game night. This was great, some of the photos will have you laughing before you had a comment to them. As with all of these games you get some stranger filler cards but the majority we used were fine.

If you are playing this with the older generation, some of the terminology that people you today can get a bit lost on them so bare that in mind before purchasing.

No issues with seller, arrived fast and adequately packaged.
Just a recommendation to R&D, all questions started with “When” and very overly UK politics oriented. I think more generalized topics and varied form of questions could be more fun.
Still not regret buying it, and recommend!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersReally enjoyed playing this with family and friends over Christmas. Was a present for my teenager. Some of the picture cards are a bit boring but I guess it’s about the card that goes with it. Perhaps need a ‘younger’pack option as my 8 tear old kept wanting to pay it and we had to vet her cards each time, often chosing between the wear words or the actual meaning of the card and whether she would understand it!! Lol great easy game for all sorts of groups though…

Note: keep the adult cards separate if playing with people you don’t feel comfortable with overly sexual phrases. Funny game, so random and can be played using picture to phrase or phrase to match picture. Even those who don’t get memes find it funny as the picture paints a thousand words so to speak. Would recommend for dinner parties or nights in with friends.

Purchased for my son’s birthday and so far we haven’t stopped laughing!
There’s so many combinations you can make and even try printing your own picture cards to add in for more laughs!
Really good that the more adult themed word cards are wrapped separately – this makes it so much easier and I would recommend removing them until kids are actually adult age as some of them are pure filth lol
The game is really easy and quick to set up and learn, which is great – it’s the worst when you get a game that takes ages to learn!
Fantastic value for money and should be on everyone’s gift list!

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI bought this as a gift for a friend a few years ago and we have played it several times since.

    Pros:
If you like Cards Against Humanity, you’ll probably like this. It’s a nice alternative and there are caption cards that you can take out if you want to play a more “family friendly” version with no sex references.

The game itself is quite easy to play and get to grips with and it’s easy to extend or shorten the game if you want to. The version that we play works like this: someone turns over a meme photo card and then the other players submit their chosen caption card anonymously. The person who picked up the photo card then chooses the best caption and that person then receives the photo card and one point, and becomes the next person to pick up a photo card. Keep going until you run out of photo cards or get bored. As with Cards Against Humanity, each game you play is similar but different, as it’s rare for the same caption cards to come up for the same photos and the captions people submit can be surprising.

    Cons:
Some of the memes seem a bit dated but the game did come out a while ago and expansion packs are available with newer / different photo cards. The other thing to mention is that the game does seem quite expensive, particularly when you compare to Cards Against Humanity which has a similar premise but is not >25 for the base game.

Verdict: It’s a decent game, can also easily be adjusted to become a drinking game and makes a good alternative to Cards Against Humanity, if you want to try something different. However, look out for when it’s on sale to get better value for money.

To be honest as a game for young adults I can see this being very popular unfortunately for us we played it as a family game with our daughters boyfriend.Talk about being awkward.I think in future we will stick to monopoly. The game is full of sexual innuendo and is for a specific target audience and for them this is a great game but for 50 + adults playing with their family it is not ideal.

The quality of the game is great and as a concept cant fault it. However some of the memes I found to be quite outdated and not as funny as they could have been. I LOVE a good games night and this hasnt made it to the top of my list unfortunately. Glad to add it to my collection but not something I’d highly recommend as it can be quite repetitive during game play. It does however bare slight resemblance to cards against humanity, has a similar vibe.

Golden Review Award: 60 From Our UsersI bought what do you meme because I really enjoyed playing cards against humanity with friends last Christmas and thought that making up memes would be a nice fun twist on game play. I also liked the fact that the name of the game is a play on words to Justin Bieber’s song what do you mean. Just to be clear though this game is not suitable for children.

The game is straight forward like cards against humanity but here each person takes 7 caption cards and then one player takes it turns to be the judge and puts up an image with a supplied easel which could be for example a photo of a fat cat lying on it’s back. The caption card a player might have is, ‘when your stepdad Rick drinks all your Mountain Dew’ or ‘When you’re trying to lose weight but gain 3 pound every time you walk by and smell the chippy’. Everyone then secretly selects one card and hands it to the Judge, the Judge then reads out each caption after shuffling them, it’s best to keep the photo visible to all players to create more laughs and banter. The judge then votes on which one they found the most funny and suitably matching. The judge then asks the players who’s card they chose and the winner of that round takes the photo card. The game also comes with freestyle cards and everyone has to come up with their own captions for that image on the spot. The game keeps going till you get hungry and order a pizza, not my words though, seriously that bit is in the rules!
The game has plenty of caption cards to get through and there is a reasonable amount of photo cards too. It also comes with a separate lot of adult caption cards to discover.

I played this with some friends aged between 21 – 32, we really had alot of fun and were laughing hysterically at each round of the game. Some of the photo cards were recognised by some of the players which was good – being meme fans.

As this is the UK version they have done a good job with making the caption cards relevant and current to a UK audience for example one caption card says, ‘when your mate tells you they voted Leave’.

Although there is plenty of caption cards I can imagine the re-playability of it will become less and less over time but there are expansion packs out there and I would of thought that the company will bring out more like we saw with Cards against humanity. Also the game does encourage you to use your own photos.

The box it’s self is good quality and should last well but is not that compact. When packing away though it was a little tricky as the photo cards prevent the box lid sliding all the way down, as they cannot be stored alongside the caption cards which I would of probably preferred, but I think this would be possible after taking out the plastic tray the caption cards sit in anyway. The quality of the caption cards are not bad and pretty thick. The photo cards are a good size too. I have included some photos of the inside of the box, the box itself and the contents.

The price I felt was maybe a little steep but I have found this has been varying a little on Amazon.

So to conclude I would recommend this game to people that enjoyed cards against humanity, who are not easily offended and enjoy banter. I look forward to getting the game back out before next Christmas.

5.0 out of 5 stars Super fun with friends

Golden Review Award: 10 From Our UsersI bought this game to play over the holidays as I got a little sick of playing the same cards in cards against humanity. Most of these cards are very much safe for family, and they’ve ensured that the ‘risque’ cards are kept separate in their own packaging, which is great for when you want to play with kids. My only gripe would be that it’s quite common to have cards that just don’t work with the meme at all, so we had a few flat rounds, this is mostly because most of the caption cards are negative, so don’t work with the more cheerful photos. Having said that, I’d still recommend the game, it’s a good way to pass the time and with the addition of alcohol its pretty fu
