This slightly unusual cable with its unique combination of 100W power delivery and multiple connectors is handy when travelling. It performs well when powering my power-hungry Dell laptop, which requires a minimum of 100W to even start.
The inclusion of additional connectors on the same cable is a definite plus, especially when I’m traveling. It eliminates the need to carry multiple cables for various devices, which I tend and forget. However, unlike other cables which split, only one device can be charged at time.
One trade-off to consider is its speed, which is limited to USB2. Not the fastest option available, it’s worth noting that this cable is best suited for charging purposes rather than data transfer.
I also appreciate the presence of a little display, which occasionally comes in handy, adding a bit to the cable’s functionality.
In summary, this cable is a practical choice for users who require 100W power delivery for their laptops and phone, and appreciate the convenience of multiple connectors. Just keep in mind its USB2 speed limitation, which makes it primarily suitable for charging tasks. The little display is a gimmick but occasionally useful.
The wiredge 100W USB C Charger Cable, 6-in-1 Multi Charger Cable is a great fast charging cable. I used it only for an iPhone X and Samsung S10 it worked well for both. Being 6 in 1 it replaces multiple cables. The power usage display is compact and clear. The cable is well-made with good-quality material. No issues so far.
I was incredibly impressed with the Wiredge 100W USB-C 6 in 1 multi charger lead. This universal cable fulfilled various everyday charging requirements, offering versatility with its 6-in-1 design. It boasts multiple ports, including a 2-in-1 USB-A to USB-C PD connector and a 3-in-1 multi USB (Lightning + Type C + Micro USB). This single cable effectively charges most devices available on the market, eliminating the need to carry multiple cables.
The cable is constructed with a sturdy nylon braided outer jacket of high density, ensuring durability and resistance to tension. Its USB-C plugs at both ends are protected by plastic shells moulded into large nylon strain reliefs, making them highly durable against bending. One end of the cable features a captive USB-C female to USB-A male adapter, while the other end houses captive micro USB male and lightning male adapters, along with an LED power display within the USB-C plug shell. The cable’s transparent design allows you to observe its internal components, adding to its appeal.
During my testing, the cable flawlessly handled over 3A at 28W through the USB-C to USB-C connection with my iPad Pro. While there are current and power limitations when using the adapters, these are more related to the standards of the connections than the cable itself, as indicated in the specifications.
Although the displayed power reading on the connector sometimes differed slightly from my USB tester, the variance was generally within 1-2 Watts at the power range tested. This minor difference does not significantly impact its usefulness for fast charging, and the real-time update feature is a valuable addition. The LED display, however, appears somewhat dim and may display the PD symbol even when using an adapter and a QC3.0 power supply. Nevertheless, this isn’t an issue if fast charging is the primary concern regardless of its type.
The cable efficiently handles 100W, successfully charging my MacBook Pro at 87W. It supports PowerDelivery and enables fast charging for my iPhone using Apple’s Fast Charging PD implementation, despite not being MFi certified. The absence of the “This Accessory isn’t supported” message may be attributed to the use of an E-marker chip, facilitating communication with the charger and device while providing protection against overcharging, overvoltage, and overheating.
While the cable does support data transfer at 480Mbps (USB 2.0), its primary focus is on charging rather than data transfer. Considering its exceptional charging capabilities and broad compatibility with various charging connector types (excluding mini USB), this cable is extremely convenient to carry. Priced at 16.14 (previously 18.99) at the time of this review, it represents an excellent purchase due to its uniqueness, functionality, and reliability. I highly recommend it.
This wiredge 100W USB C Charger Cable, 6 in 1 Multi Charger Cable, PD 4FT 5A Type C to C Fast Charging Cable, USB C/A to USB C/Micro/IP Sync Charger arrives in a presentable box. This charger looks elegant and has a feel of elegant to it. Therefore, this would be nice gift for someone special in your life. The led is a nice, useful and welcome addition to this multi charger. Everything works well my only criticism is the total length as I would have preferred a longer length. However, I can’t hold it against the final score as does mention it in the description so it is no surprise.
I am extremely satisfied with its powerful performance, versatile compatibility, and convenient display feature. This charger offers a comprehensive charging solution for various devices, ensuring efficient and reliable power delivery.
One of the standout features of this charger is its impressive 100W power output, making it capable of charging high-powered devices efficiently. Whether I’m charging a laptop, tablet, smartphone, or other USB-powered gadgets, this charger delivers ample power to ensure fast and reliable charging.
The charger’s versatility is another notable aspect. With its included adapter for iPhones, Type C phones, and Micro USB devices, I can easily connect and charge a wide range of devices with different charging ports. This eliminates the need for multiple chargers, simplifying my charging setup and reducing clutter.
The presence of a convenient display on the charging port is a fantastic addition. This display shows the power level coming through to charge, providing real-time information on the charging process.
Furthermore, the build quality of the charger is commendable. It feels solid and durable, capable of withstanding regular use and offering long-lasting performance.
This USB-C to USB-C charging cable comes with a number of adapters connected to the main cord. At one end is a USB-A adapter while at the other are lightning and micro-USB adapters. There’s a power display screen in the connector at that end, which is a feature I like. Build quality generally looks decent. The connectors are transparent and there’s good bend protection at the joins onto the cord, which is nylon braided but relatively flexible.
I’ve been using this cable with my bedside GaN charger and it has been working perfectly. It supports 100W fast charging without adapters but I can also use it to charge my older micro-USB devices. It is quite expensive given the 1.2m length but so far I’m very happy with the quality and performance of this cable.
Just to highlight one thing; if you like to use this cable to display the power consumption then you can only connect it from one end otherwise the LCD would not come up, it’s a minor issue (just turn the cable the other way around and you’re good to go).
Nice to include all the adaptors to convert the connector from USB-C into Micro, or A etc, I also like that you can do this on both ends (well, the powering one can only do A or C types), but overall the cable works fine and I was happy to use it.
Overall good product; a little too high on the price though.
The Wiredge 100W USB-C 6 in 1 multi charger lead comprises a thick nylon braided cable with USB-C plugs at each end. The plugs are covered with plastic shells which have large nylon strain reliefs attached. There is a captive USB-C female to USB-A male adapter at one end of the cable and there are captive micro USB male and lightning male adapters at the other end, which also houses the LED power display inside the USB-C plug shell. There is a Velcro cable strap to keep the cable tidy.
The cable is rated at 5A but it is not as thick as I would have expected, however it is reasonably flexible when extended.
I experienced no problem pushing over 3A at 28W through the cable when using the USB-C to USB-C connection. There are limitations on current and power when using the adapters as is shown in the specs (see photo), the limitations are more to do with the standards for the connections rather than the cable itself.
Although the displayed power reading on the connector differed from the reading on my USB tester, the difference was usually within 1-2 Watts at the range of power that I was testing at. The difference is not that significant and it still makes the cable useful for checking that your device is fast charging.
The display is quite dim and it shows the PD symbol even if you use an adapter and a QC3.0 power supply, again this isn’t a problem if all you are interested in is fast charging regardless of its type.
This is a very handy charging cable to carry with you, it covers most of the charging connector types except for the mini USB one and it is capable of handling 5A at 20V when no adapters are used. At the time of this review, there was a 40% off voucher which would make this item competitively priced considering that it has 3 adapters attached.
This is a truly versatile, quality cable. One end has USB C with a tethered USB A adaptor, the other is USB C with tethered lightning and micro USB adaptors and the built in screen that shows how many Watts are being delivered – brilliant!
Usbc charger cable 6 in 1
===================
As a usbc charger cable this cable is excellent – has all the ends to cover both new and old devices as well as iphone lightning port. I love the fact all the adapters are attached to the cable – less chance of losing them. It charges all our phones using different chargers on both slow, and Samsung’s “fast charge” and “super fast” charge. The display is nice but I feel it is more of a gimmick since the output is always much lower than actual drawage, although it is nice showing/proving an item is being charged and approx output especially when troubleshooting a faulty charger. As for data transfer it works well but only at usb2 speeds – my guess is the display is inadvertently limiting the transfer. Currently selling for 18.99
I’ve been using this cable to charge my laptop. The charging speed hasn’t hit 100w yet as my laptop only needs a 90w charger and the highest I’ve seen it go was 75w.
It’s nice to have the little wattage readout as it allows you to see how fast the device is charging.
This is a great one-for-all cable that works exactly as intended.
The wattage readout is totally accurate and I have verified this with independent USB testers. Not all are like this so this is a strong selling point.
The attached adapters mean you can cover most situations with a single cable and it’s dug me out of a hole several times!
Supports super-fast charging 2.0 on samsung devices. A great cable to have in your arsenal!
This is a nice USB lead that should fit anything you need it to having USB-A USB-C Micro USB lightning connections , it has them all in 1 handy lead and tells you the watts it is charging at .Even though it is good I think it is over priced at 19.99 but at the moment you can apply a %40 off voucher which makes it a good buy and more realistic price.
A versatile USB cable that has interchangeable sockets on both ends – you can use it with USB-C, lightning and micro USB devices and on the other end connect to USB-C or USB chargers/computers.
It’s a nice looking cable, with a built in LED display on one end (Showing power, and also whether or not PD charging is currently in use) and a transparent window showing all the components. The different connectors are attached via rubber, which may not be that durable and they risk getting caught in things or bent at weird angles. I like the thick, braided cable, which doesn’t tangle and feels durable.
The LED display is nice, but a bit of a gimmick. I find it a bit difficult to see in bright light, though, and I’m not sure how accurate it is.
If you want a versatile cable this ok, but a little pricey.
Works fine with my phones, iPad, wireless chargers. I haven’t used it for data transfer, though. Charging is fine and the speed is good as well, especially when using PD charging.
wiredge 100W USB C Charger Cable, 6 in 1 Multi Charger Cable, PD 4FT 5A Type C to C Fast Charging .
This is a 100W USB charge cable that comes with changeable ends giving a combination of USB-A and USB-C to Micro-USB, USB-C and Apple Lightning connections. The cable also incorporates an LED screen which shows the amount of power a device is using and indicates when PD (Power Delivery) is in use.
The cable itself is PVC and has what appears to be a cotton braid for protection, it is quite thin for 100W rating, at just 4mm diameter and it has quite a tight bend radius with an outer bend diameter of around 25mm, making it very flexible.
In use, I managed to draw a maximum of 60 watts, I have nothing to hand to supply more than this, but at 60 watts it got just slightly warm at the display end of the cable. There was an inaccuracy, reading high by about 5 watts at the higher wattages. The display I found to be very dim and difficult to read being barely visible in daylight.
I took a few measurements at various voltages and currents, at 3 amps there was about 0.7 volts drop across the cable which gives an overall cable resistance of around 2.1 ohms.
Data transfer is at USB2.0 speeds, at around 35MB/s regardless of which connectors I used, this is consistent with the listing and specification. It is quite poor by today’s standards, but this is primarily a power / charging cable, not a data cable, so it is not so important.
So, its not a bad cable, it does handle the power very well with very little heating or voltage drop. However, the display is very dim, does not have a decimal value, and slightly inaccurate.
This robust looking cable is a one fits most solution. With USB-A and USB-C on one end and a choice of USB-C, Micro USB or the Lightning end you’ll struggle to find something this won’t charge at least anything made in the last few years.
There is a readout on the charging end that displays the current power delivery, at present I’m charging up my USB power pack with it and it shows “20W PD” which is what I expected.
Will keep this in my bag or car possibly so that I can always adapt to the situation. I do occasionally charge my laptop (using the power pack I’m charging) or via my car, so the 100W capability is useful for me too.
This is good and can be used with other gadgets as well. Good length and quality as well. Looks premium and durable. The price is a bit expensive for me.
This seems to be a good quality cable that solves the need for something which can power my laptop whilst also being able to run my phone and other devices from
You even get a handy reading showing how much power is being draw
