Seems to do the job, not sure a) how it will age or b) how well it’ll cope when the plant gets taller and heavier. Impressions so far:
Positives:
– lots of different ties that come with it
– long stake in the soil so should help with stability
– bendable
Negatives:
– comes bent in the box and it’s hard to get 100% straight after… won’t matter if you want it bent
– the long stake means it won’t fit in my smaller pots with some of the smaller climbers
– not moss… though I should have read more carefully, I hadn’t realised retailers would call something a moss pole that isn’t moss
A pack of 2 bendy moss poles supplied with string, cable ties and foil ties. It was reasonably priced. It was much thiner than most moss poles and the soil spike was not very stable when bent into a spiral so I ended up having to use both for extra stability on one plant. Consequently the product is more suited to smaller climbing plants like my philedendron, swiss cheese plants would be far too heavy for it.
5 stars but be advised to bury quite deep as my monstera is very large and moss pole will tilt to one side if you do not take care to do so
One of my plants was starting to grow outwards, becoming a little intrusive to my other plants, so I thought I’d try a moss pole. First time using these, I wasn’t sure what to expect or what to do really. After some frustration & fiddly business, I’m happy with the outcome. I found positioning awkward simply because of how the plant was growing, but once I figured out what to do, it was pretty easy going. Eventually I used the string supplied to gently tether the plant. Happy customer!
Does exactly what I wanted it to do and held my Montasara/cheese plant up.
Easy to shape around the plant and comes with multiple different ties to keep it attached
Unfortunately, despite her best efforts, my poor plant came back to me in a very straggly, extremely poor state
I ordered this to try and help revive my plant and it was so easy to use – I just bent it out straight and secured my plant with the enclosed ties.
Hopefully my plant will revive with some tlc, but I like the fact you can bend the pole in different shapes and may get another 1 or 2 to encourage my plants to grow in beautiful hearts etc..
Order this moss pole for my in-house money plant. This is delightful product, in line with the description. Moss pole is very easy to use and can be shaped as per the needs, though i suggest to keep it upright.
It comes with a tape and variety of ties that is useful to support the plant along the moss, making it easy to assemble and put together. Given that it is extra tall, it is future proof and can support the plant as it grows. The ones available in local stores are not as tall as this one. Moss pole is strong and provides good level of sturdiness.
Quite happy with this moss pole, a value for money product, does what it say and i plan to order more for other plants in house. Happy customer and brilliantly packed & delivered by Amazon.
