One of the most difficult tools to find when you need to use one. The packaging is super for keeping the full range of hexagonal bits together which makes it easy to find the correct size when you want to use one.

I bought this set to unscrew my tv unit. It was great as I had various sizes for future usage. It was reasonable in price and the keys were sturdy. This was a great purchase. I can’t complai

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersGreat range ensuring any size needed it provided in this set.

Small case for easy storage and transport.

    Good solid keys.

Would recommend for anyone who needs Allen keys in their toolbox.

Various sizes of hex keys, perfect for assembling or disassenbling furniture when you inevitably lose the things along the way, as well as finding uses with bike maintenance and 3D printer repairs!
The only thing that I would say is that the small ones seem… too small? I haven’t ever found a use for keys that small, but nevertheless its nice that there’s a good variety included.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI bought this for moving into my first house. It’s a great set of alan keys for someone to keep round the house like me for furniture building. Only thing I’ve noticed is the paint or coating on the outside has chipped a bit but to be expected with the twisting. Can’t really fault the set variety either, comes with just about every size key you’d ever need.

Looks good and was good for two times then the hinge on the Imperial Hexagon side broke. Very poor quality of the inside of the case. The keys are fine.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersGenerally quite good. Solid tools, sturdy case, reassuringly heavy.

But the smallest couple of tools are hair-thin. I can’t think of any use-case where I’d ever need such a thing and even if I did, it would just bend before tightening anything.

Yes, not bad and good value for money. Arrived with the keys covered in oil to prevent corrosion but that wiped off. Maybe not the best made set but quite good enough for my needs.

I was having trouble stripping down a motor with my previous set of keys, however this set had the job done in no time at all!

They are very sturdy, allowing you to put plenty of strength into them, and have nice long handles to make your job easier.

They come very well presented in a sturdy case, with each slot clearly labelled and foam padding to protect the smaller keys (especially the 0.7mm one)

I would definitely recommend this set.

I have given this product 5***** and I’m hoping it isn’t too premature. As I used them for the first time today and it helped me get the job done! Not a fun job, but a necessary one. The box is compact.. the choice is amazing although I can be indecisive at the best of times. Basically, cute box, so much choice of keys all for under 20 and was delivered the next day in good time for me to roll my sleeves up and pull my finger out!

    Cheers Drape

A really comprehensive set, both metric and imperial, and a good sturdy case.

It’s a bit fiddly to open the retaining clips inside, and I’ve noticed that the thinnest keys have bent simply from how they are positioned against the clip when you press it closed. They’re still functional, but a shame they got bent before I’ve even used them.

I’ll admit… I ad this in my shopping basket for a while. At the standard price, it is good value, but I have a random collection of most sizes. But, when its price dropped, it was a no-brainer.

The set is comprehensive and the kit is heavier than I expected. The box is robust and pretty convenient – half a star off for some keys being tricky to remove/replace.

The keys seem well made and only half a star off because the very tiniest seem too flimsey to use on anything but a free turning screw. Any torque on them will cause them to twist.

So, highly revcommended unless you need to secure tightly or unscrew tight fitting screws at the smallest end. Then, I’d recommend a top-quality professional tier key.

Package was well packed by Amazon, although I do feel that Draper could have made the packaging smaller on their end, since the case arrives opened to display the product (and therefore the packaging has to be larger to accomodate – hence 4 stars not 5).

Case is sturdy and secure enough, keeps the keys organised in a logical way. Keys also seem strong enough, even down to the smaller ones (such as the 0.9mm key) – other (cheaper) sets I’ve used in the past have been quite weak with the smaller keys, but no issues with this set thus far – very much a case of getting what you pay for.

Adequate cheap set of Allen keys, the imperial ones I’ll possibly never use but even ignoring them this comprehensive set of metric keys is still good value. It seems to be difficult to find a set of metric keys that actually include all the smallest sizes I need, so this fit the bill perfectly. The largest sizes are nicely long and feel sturdy. The smallest sizes are terribly flimsy and not actually straight from new! They still work, and for the price I wouldn’t expect much more, but it just seems that if the package was assembled properly it might not actually have been a problem – the bending seemed to be a consequence of the fact that the smallest bits just aren’t seated in the correct slots!

Golden Review Award: 59 From Our UsersI’m a keen DIYer and also don’t mind getting my hands dirty fixing my own car whenever possible so I’ve built up an eclectic collection of Allen keys over the years. I purchased this Draper set as I was fed up with my random collection laying about haphazardly in my toolbox.

I have a number of Draper tools and I generally find them to be good value and quality so had no hesitation in buying this set.

When it arrived my first impression was that it was much larger than I expected – I was expecting a box about the size of a set of drill bits but the actual size is about that of a medium paperback book. See my photos with rule.

It comes packaged in one of those near impossible to open clear plastic moulded clamshells that you have to cut open. I’ve taken a star away for this because it’s extremely wasteful.

The keys themselves are held in a very sturdy plastic box that has internal slots for each key. The keys are held in place by a black plastic cover that you unclip and fold back to access the keys. The box has a semi-circle of plastic on the back that you can twist around so that you can hang the box on a nail if you want. See photo.

The box appears to contain every size of key that you’d ever need (up to 10mm and 3/8″) but personally I doubt if you’d ever have need for some of the tiny ones; also, the tiny ones are so thin you’d almost certainly bend or twist them during use. Still, you never know…

Quality wise the steel of the keys seems to be as good as any other keys I’ve collected over the years and the edges of the ends are very slightly chamfered to make it easier to insert them.

Overall I am pleased with the set and it’ll certainly mean that I can now have a tidier toolbox by having every key I need easily to hand.

Hope this review was of help to you. Thanks.

4.0 out of 5 stars Hefty box with every size you need - and probably some you don't!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersA very useful kit to have. The case is solid and extremely durable and it’s a cinch to ensure that all of your keys are stored properly for ease of use. Like others, the very small diameter sizes were bent. I mainly use them for ecig parts and even they don’t use hex screws requiring the super small diameter keys. It would have been nice that everything was perfect out of the box, and some goon in the factory is apparently happy to keep putting bent keys in anyway. A small let down that loses them a star. The larger keys are great however, and having them in both imperial and metric is at times exceptionally useful. One small niggle, but would recommend.
