We forgot our old wind/rain pants when on holiday here in the Hebrides – so ordered these to get us by. They are better quality than those we have used for 15 years. We really like the fit, the zippers on the legs, and the zippered pockets. They cut the wind and seem to be able to shed water – but no big test yet of the overall water proofness. We also liked that they came in different colors. The fit was great – we just followed the seller’s size chart and all was well. Good product and well made!
As a tail person I find it difficult to get waterproofs with a long enough leg, I ordered the 34 inch leg and they are perfect covering the top of my boots so any water doesn’t run into the boot itself. On first use at one point I was caught in a very heavy squall, walking into 50mph winds in an exposed area with driving rain hitting me head on , they coped very well with this. On completion of the 13 mile walk I found my walking trousers which I had on underneath had a very slight damp patch on each leg where the water had run off my coat onto my thighs at the front. it was very minimal and did not cause discomfort. Given the conditions I think they performed excellently and because of the leg lenght my feet were dry.
These fit me nicely and are comfortable to wear. I wasn’t sure which waist size to get small or medium but plumbed for the small in regular leg which was a good decision. The only gripe is they could do with being about an inch longer in the leg.
Haven’t yet tried in wet weather, but the trousers appear well made and the two zipped side pockets are an added bonus, my only criticism so far is that they are a little difficult to pull on over other clothing due to there not being a front opening, I felt I should hav gone up one size but this would have made the rest of the trousers too big!
These are a good fit and very light weight , waterproof ( I tried them in the Lakeland fells in a gale of wind and driving rain today ) . Very comfortable to wear and easy to put on and take off using the ankle zips . For the price they are comparable to an expensive brand I own . I like them !
keep me dry when travelling to work on my ebike even in torrential rain, 30-40 minute ride. nice wide legs , with the zipper and velcro they are easy to put on even when wearing boots. machine washable at 30 degrees is nice. just dont tumble dry them. happy with them
These are very comfortable, lightweight and waterproof. I’ve worn these while walking the dog in torrential rain and I was dry as a bone….also they have nice deep zip pockets and ankle zips so are easy to take off and put o
Mine arrived just before Storm Ciarn, so I had a great opportunity to test them out.
They are light, we able to withstand torrential rain, and had plenty of room to breathe. The material feels strong enough to survive normal use.
Not a single leak found, and they kept be super dry during horizontal rain.
There is not a single negative thing that I can say about this product.
Spent several whole days in these in the worse possible conditions high in the mountains and I didn’t get even a little wet so perfect for the purpose that they are intended for!
Love these trousers. They are a great fit for my 32″ waste, not to volumous compared to all the other makes I’ve tried. Shame they don’t do a shorter leg length. I have given them a good soaking a couple of times and no water has penetrated. Excellent.
If your buying these trousers the best advice I could give is get a size larger than you are I took this advice now I have a great pr9duct ready to use in the wetter months great price happy days
I bought these as I was going on a hiking holiday to the Lake District and I knew the weather would be very changeable. They are lightweight and folded up small to fit inside a small rucksack. Easy to put on over walking boots and trousers as they have a nice big zip on the bottom. Kept me dry and warm when it rained and dried out real quick.
I haven’t tested them in the rain yet but the seams look well secured and waterproofed.
I’d say they come a little on the small side compared to the size guide.
