These things are great, we have one for compostable kitchen waste another for dog food and we see dishwasher tablets and laundry detergent tablets in others. Plenty of different colours to choose from. Would definitely recommend these for use around the home.
Was very slightly smaller than I thought but that was due to me not reading the dimensions properly. It is nice and sturdy and the lid closes well. Good value and looks nice.
Bought this because it was reasonably priced and I am using it for a potato bin, I drilled a hole in the top for air flow and it is working well. I didn’t want a large potato bin and this works ideal. Pleased with it.
I brought 2 to use as a bathroom bin and dressing table bin after seeing the price of ‘bathroom’ bins
Perfect size for what I need and will be easy to clean!
I would say this is what I need for my home. The material is solid and looks long lasting. The size look a bit too big but to be far which is not a bad thing as I can then also put the bones and everything in without separating bags! I think it’s worth the price as I bought it when it’s on sale! But let me use it longer and I will come back for an update!
Perfect size for peelings etc to go into the compost. No need to buy bags, a quick rinse and you’re good to go.
The lid fits well enough to keep smells and flies away too.
Would recommend!
If keeping the label on doesn’t drive you crazy then leave it on. I took the label off!! Big mistake, liner sticks to the outside its been scrubbed, rubbed with everything I can think of, been through the dishwasher many times but the glue still remains.
This is a caddy that I was looking for. Nice storage for laundry capsules. However the lock is not even slightly strong to keep it closed. And the price…. it is much more overpriced than I could imagine. Once I received the delivery, I found the same caddy in 2 different stories for 1.7 for recycled up to 3 for grey.
Handy, small size, fits in my cupboard under the sink. The lock is barely there, it gives a quite click, and that it. I wouldn’t call it a lock, and an inquisitive mouse would surely open it…!!!
I bought the light grey kitchen food waste caddy so that it blended in with my kitchen colour scheme. (The one from our Council is a muddy brown and aesthetically a non starter for me.). The caddy is the right size to tuck into the corner of the work surface as it’s not too big. It holds a good amount of kitchen waste and the 6 litre bags I bought from Amazon fit it perfectly. The caddy was cheap, but it is perfectly well made, and I love that it was made in the UK. An excellent choice, in my opinion.
I’m pleased enough with it but would prefer if the lid was more air tight. I’m using it with the bags for when I scoop out poo from my cat litter tray. I would buy more for other purposes like storing cloths and clothes pegs etc.
Update: I’ve had it a few days and am pleased that even with a few days worth of cat poo in it that there is no smell.
