This was ordered as a 2 pack but only 1 was in the box. I can find no way of resolving this with the online options. I don’t want to return the one I’ve got, just receive the one I’m owed.
Got on Amazon chat and they have resolved it for me. I am very happy with the charger good quality and does the job.
This amazon charger has lasted me a year as an others lasted me a couple of months or less. It being long allows me to use the charger in areas where usually i couldn’t because of the awkward lengths, and for the price, it’s much more affordable then others while buying chargers in shops.
Cable works, longer than I expected but that’s fine. The cable that came with my ipod was too short and it died so I’m happy this 1 is made better and feels sturdy (the plastic round the 1 end started sliding down exposing the wires) so it won’t fall apart anytime soo
I love this brand and style of charger. They’re all I buy now. For myself I bought 2 pink versions and I’ve had them many years, easily 5 yrs (one for upstairs and one for downstairs). And they’re still serving me perfectly.
So my reasoning for buying more of these is because I happen to have 2 children and a husband that never listen about taking care of chargers. The chargers take a lot of abuse from constant rough handling YET these charges still out perform any other chargers. My husband will buy other brands on here and on eBay that are supposed to be ‘indestructible’ and they always end up swiftly not working or literally come apart and expose the wires. The Amazon Basics last many months longer with the same ‘manhandling’. When the Amazon versions finally break, in our experience it’s only because the electrical wires within the threaded / weaved outer have snapped from being CONSTANTLY bent at a right angle just after the plug part that goes into your device. But unlike other chargers we’ve had including Apples own brand, the electrical wires have never actually been exposed. So it’s been a lot safer especially being used by children. Once your device stops charging or keeps ‘pinging’ the charging noise even though you’ve not touched the device once plugged in, I know the wires have finally succumbed and just get another Amazon Basics.
The other thing I love about this charger compared to all the others we’ve had that have a threaded / weaved outer, this one has a really nice feel like silky and not too stiff. Some we’ve had have been scratchy feeling and so stiff they really difficult to unknot and seem to get themselves into a messy knot, like trying to unknot a fine chain necklace.
Ordered this as a replacement to a genuine cable.
It charges the phone absolutely fine. Charges just as good as a genuine cable. I like how it’s braided to give it a bit of protection. Does it protect the cable massively? No. But if you are sensible enough, this cable is not going to give you any problems what so ever.
I only marked it down one star because it doesn’t seem to plug in as nice as a genuine cable and it has the tiniest bit of flex to it when plugged in. I really do mean tiny. It does not affect the charging performance at all and it doesn’t affect how well the cable stays plugged in to your device. So unless you are a perfectionist, you’ll be absolutely fine with this cable.
And it’s a good amount cheaper than buying genuine. A very good amount.
This is a perfectly good product and I would happily buy another if mine decides to fail but it’s been good for over 4 months now.
Had issues with delivery. Needed to cable and so ordered as said would come on the Tuesday. Then once I ordered says it would t come to the following Sunday. Two calls to customer services and sorted.

We have been using one of these for a long time and it is still without issues. We tried several others which did not last six months so the difference is justified compared to cheap ones.
Pros:
– Strong nylon cable, it’s very durable and will not break due to bending
– apple certified
– good value for money
– good size options
Cons:
– I ordered the rose gold colour, it was more of a light pink was not thrilled but still looks good I guess
I bought a pair of the braided cables for their older USB compatibility with older portable power banks.
What I liked:
* The cables are long enough to be able to charge at a reasonable distance from the charging source
* They do not tangle as easily as the rubber equivalent
* They tend to fray less than the manufacturer’s originals
* They feel more like a premium product than the white rubber cables and should not discolour
* They come with a small velcro ‘tidy’ loop enabling the cable to be wrapped into a tight loop as required
* They charged all of my devices without a compatibility issue
What could be improved:
* The cables are a little pricey at just under 8 each, however on the plus side they are durable and should outlive the devices they are intended to charge
Overall, I give five stars for the cables and I can certainly recommend them.
Great length, lovely colour, works well. Only issue was that after about 18 months of use wires became exposed where cable connects to the charger jack as the rubber is broken. Otherwise it’s been good value for money.
Bought this for my wife’s IPhone as the original was broken at the lightning plug end.
She’s had no problem IPhone charges up as good as the original and this looks more durable
Reliable and reasonably priced. I continue to repurchase the Amazon cables as the official Apple ones are too expensive. The Amazon brand cables are durable and I am pleased with how long they last considering the amount of usage they receive.
The cable works are expected – no issues encountered.
The official Apple cables in my experience, tend for fray or fail within a year or so, and I usually replace with an Amazon Basic version – which in my opinion are usually significantly cheaper and more robust.
The version of the cables I purchased were 1.8 metres in length, which are much longer than the standard cables that Apple provides with a new phone.
New cable works perfectly. It’s a little long for most usages – but it does mean I can use the phone whilst the charger is plugged into the nearest electrical socket.
