Can’t find the Bluetooth or Wi-Fi of the dongle?
First, please ensure that the Bluetooth and Wi-Fi of your Android phone are turned on. If possible, you can use another Android phone for testing. If only a specific Android phone cannot find the Bluetooth or Wi-Fi of the dongle, please try resetting the network and Bluetooth settings of that Android phone and restart it. If the same issue occurs on other Android phones as well, the device may have a defect. In that case, please let us know, and we will arrange a replacement for you.
Continuous disconnection?
The dongle relies on a Wi-Fi connection with the phone to function. Connection interruptions are often caused by Wi-Fi interference. Do you have any other Wi-Fi devices in your car, such as a Wi-Fi-enabled dashboard camera? If so, you may need to disregard other Wi-Fi networks while using the dongle. Additionally, you can try improving this issue by resetting the mobile WLAN network.
Pairing Android Auto doesn’t start or the car displays a device incompatible/unrecognized USB error message?
1. If you are using Android Auto for the first time in your car, please activate it by connecting your phone using a data cable in wired mode.
2. Make sure that your Android phone has the latest version of Android Auto. If not, please log in to your Google Play account and update it to the latest version.
3. Turn off Bluetooth on your phone and then go to the app management settings. Search for “Auto” and clear the cache for Android Auto. After clearing the cache, restart the dongle and reconnect the Bluetooth.
Can the adapter be paired with multiple cell phones?
The dongle can be paired with multiple Android phones, but only one device can be connected at a time. If you want to pair it with a new Android phone, please disconnect the current connection first. Please note that the Bluetooth function of the dongle system will automatically return to the last used Android phone connection by default.
After the car’s engine is off, is the dongle’s indicator light still on?
Since the vehicle does not immediately cut off all power sources when the engine is switched off, the indicator light on the dongle will not go out immediately, it may take some time.
