It’s a fun game, and I’m sure you’ll enjoy it. But it felt like a step backwards for me. I think this was just them throwing a bone to the AC fans who keep asking for a return to the older style of games, and I think they’ll go back to the more modern style after this. Like I said, it’s fun, you’ll probably enjoy it, but compared to Origins, Odyssey, etc. it’s a bit disappointing.
Beautiful story, amazing gameplay and parkour, I have always been a massive fan of assassin’s creed and this is just perfection.
Combat is abit dulled down but the stealth makes up for it.
The only con I can think off is the occasional glitch but when your weighing in everything the game has to other it’s not that deep.
If your a big fan of AC the I highly recommend this game, short and sweet and straight to the point none of that dragging nonsense like we saw in Valhalla or rpg that we saw in odyssey. Just straight simple sneaking and stabbing fun :-))
9.9/10
The Game itself is great. A lot harder than valhalla in my opinion because the combat so far for me is less lethal . Stealth is the key! But it came with a map and bonus content so yayyy
I’m a big fan of Assassin’s Creed games – they’re one of the only games I actually play, so when I saw this was released I bought it immediately.
The graphics and gameplay are decent, but it isn’t my favourite game. It’s good and fun to play, but it’s much shorter than a lot of the others (I read it was meant to be an add on to Valhalla so that probably explains it). And it sort of goes back to the early games.
I managed to finish the storyline in a week and total gameplay of about 30 hours (and that was playing slow, exploring and building up everything before completing the story). I’ve read it could normally take about 15 hours to complete. In comparison I played Valhalla about 150 hours and a few others over 100 hours.
It’s very much a stealth based game vs a combat game like some of the others – and weapons/clothing etc all feel very limited comparing it to other AC games. There’s not that many upgrades for gear either. And in terms of exploring the map, there’s not that much outside of the city, so again feels quite small. It takes a little while to get into all the gear and controls etc… but once you do it’s decent. I didn’t find it too buggy on PS4 – a few small occasional glitches and only one thing that temporarily stopped me progressing (but de-synching and replaying that bit fixed it).
Overall it’s a fun game, and if you like Assassin’s Creed games you’ll probably like this. It’s shorter and smaller with less overall, so feel it’s maybe a bit overpriced for what you get – but I still enjoyed it. Would probably give it a 7/10 (3.5/5) just because it feels like it doesn’t have as much to it. But still worth getting.
Totally disappointed it’s exactly the same as the other game I really liked assessing creed but it just seems they’re going over and over the same thing and he definitely wasn’t worth the money that I paid fo
