Only used this once since purchasing, simple and easy to use. So much more convenient than using ones at petrol stations and will be more economical in the long run as prices have just doubled at my local statio
Simple to use, bought as my car tyres continuously lose pressure, this unit tops them up really quickly (about one minute or so per tyre, 22psi to 32psi). Highly recommended.
This product is certainly good value for money & so easy to use. I have to check my tyre pressures regularly as that annoying message about checking tyres keeps popping up when I can find nothing wrong. I used to use a foot pump which made my legs ache but now the product does it all for me.
Despite its affordable price, does the job like a champ. My tyres were not flat but inflated around 4-5 psi in no time. Easy to use, user friendly. Also the flaslight is so handy. If you have any problems with the product, excellent customer service will solve it right away. Definetaly value for money!
Great piece of kit. I unfortunately have a very slow puncture and could not get in to get the repair done. This has kept me on the road. It is quick to inflate the affected tyre and can go from 11.5 PSI to 32 PSI in less than a minute and a half. Happy with purchase and would recommend.
Easy to use ,works well if a little noisy, seems efficient. Got this because last time I used air machine at garage it completely deflated my tyre – fortunately a good Samaritan came to my aid with one of these machines! So I came straight home and ordered one.
Worked quite rapidly to pump up tyre – only issue was it seemed to vibrate so had to put cloth underneath as if set on tarmac floor it might get damaged. Also, found it difficult to stay plugged into cig lighter socket, push in but then would ease out again. Might be my car but did eventually get it to stay in properly to use. Overall though did job and acted surprisingly quickly – even quicker than garage air pump so no messing around trying to find air pump thats working.
I’m tired of paying to pump up my tyres. Used a few times now. So easy and very quick. I keep it in my boot as it is small and compact. I’m going to buy another as a gift. Lead from cigarette lighter to tyres more than long enough.
I only got this tyre inflator the day before I had to use it. The dash board in my car was showing low tyre pressure. So simple to use and fills the tyre to desired pressure quickly. I will have this in my boot at all times. Highly recommend.
It’s a great tyre inflator, works easily and it’s easy to work with, I keep it in my car, so I don’t have to spend money on the gas station.
It looks like it’s going to last, the material and quality are not bad.
Bought this one after the 2nd Halford special died a death after it’s 3rd use. Used on horse trailer tyres pumped them up to 60psi – no problem. 4×4 tyres 45psi – no problem. Did the length get to the back of the 4×4? Yes. But only just. Was the length of the hose from the machine to the car tyre valve long enough? No. With the tyre valve at TDC the machine had to held in the hand. On a car you will probably be fine. The screen is clear and easy to read. It is definitely a plug in and go. I really liked that when it reached the set pressure it gave an extra one half psi so that by the time you got the clip off the valve you tyre pressure was exactly what was set. It was a very thoughtful design addition.
The whole machine is very compact. It is so compact that trying to fit 3M length of the electrical line from the cigarette lighter to the machine in it’s little home is a lesson in total frustration and the need for a degree in packing. I can see that over time the wiring will probably break.
On the whole It is good value with a good guarantee and I would recommend it.
Every car should carry some sort of charging device. This charger plugs into the cigarette lighter in the car, turn the engine on and there is enough flex to reach all 4 tyres if and when needed.
The pump is really quick too, my rear tyre was down to 15PSI, and I had it charged within 5 minutes. The flex then fits into the compressor and the air cable slots conveniently as well.
Does the job, value for money, recommended.
Fills up quickly and is a portable size air inflator that you can store away in the car. The only problem I found is that it needs to be plugged in to the 12v car charger unlike other inflator that have a battery builtin.
Very pleased with my purchase and nice and compact, easy to set up and use. Tested on my road bike first to inflate to 100 psi, did this in no time and switched of when pressure attained. Easily did car pressures too. Torch feature is a nice touch and all packs away into the unit. Fittings for balls, paddling rings and presta adaptor. Recommend.
Small, powerful & does the job very well.
Had a similar pump previously but was no where near the build quality of this one.
Pay a couple of quid more for this one, it’s worth it.
This compact tyre inflator pump has everything you need simplified so anyone can use it.
It comes in a bright orange (RAC Esq) retail package with clear instructions in 6 languages!
It would make an epic gift for a new car driver or anyone that doesn’t already have one.
As soon as the pump is plugged into the cigarette socket in your car the LED torch will illuminate.
So you know that you have power and now you also have the means to find the tyre caps in the dark!
The connector is a quick set flip over valve, the easiest type there is to use, on in a second!
The display will show the current pressure in PSI, BAR, kPa or oven kg/cm2 using one button to navigate between the different scales of measurement.
Press the + / – buttons to set the desired pressure and turn the pump on using the rocker switch.
If more air is needed the pump will turn on and top the tyre up to whatever you set it to and when it has reached the correct pressure, it will stop!
Now disconnect the flip over clip, replace the dust cap cover and get to the next wheel!
The cable is 4.5mtrs long (15ft) so you wont have any difficulty doing all four tyres on any normal car.
When you are finished you can neatly store all the wires back into the recess on the back of the machine!
Inside the box you will also find a great assortment of other fittings so you can inflate bicycle tyres, air beds or even footballs all with the one pump!
I would call this an essential piece of equipment these days when cars often have no spare tyre.
You can use this if you notice a tyre is going down rather then spraying the gunk in first and risking ruining a perfectly OK tyre and TPMS sensor!
This was great peace of mind and value for money at the time of review!
Happy to help!

AstroAI Tyre Inflator Air Compressor
The AstroAI use the 12v cigarette lighter that all cars have in order for this to work.
The air compressor is very easy to use and can also be used from inflating tires on cars and bikes to footballs.
The compressor is quite a small form factor it doesn’t take up much room in the boot and can be placed in most compartments to either keep out of prying eyes or just to not take up much room if you lack space.
Performance wise this device actually pumped up air in quick time wasn’t as quick as my Ring however, for the price this was still adequate enough and it has a auto shut off once it reaches the correct pressure which i tested to make sure afterwards and this device was spot on.
I personally only use BAR or PSI yet if you use any of the other metrics this can also read KPA and cm squared.
The light on the device is nice and bright in case your needing to put air into your tires late at night you can actually see what you doing.
I do like the fact that all the cables do go into the back of the compressor however, this at times can be fiddly to play around with.
The cable for the 12v is long enough to reach around each tire on a car. The valve is also nice a long so the device isn’t hanging around while your putting air in it can be placed on the floor.
Overall this is a must have piece of equipment for any road user personally, This is affordable enough to purchase Ive used this quite a few times now on various cars and it held up rather well.
Not the quietest of compressor however, Ive heard alot louder and i would say this is perfectly acceptable considering the size.
When my dad mentioned he was looking for a tyre inflator I had to grab this and give it a try
On arrival, you could tell that it was well made and seemed pretty solid.
It has a compartment on the rear that holds the cable to the accessory socket, the cable that goes to the tyre and the extra pump needles that might be required.
The front has a small digital panel that shows the pressure when plugged in, and has a plus and minus button to increase/decrease the pressure required.
The cable to the accessory socket is a reasonable length and the tube to the tyre is a good length too
On the whole it would be great for those times you need to give them a little boost.
I had an old tyre pressure and it was not as good as this one. This was a lot more faster when pumping all my 4 tyres and is definitely a better and a more affordable alternative to paying 50p everytime when going shopping and pumping it there. It is very easy to set the psi and as soon as I set it up, I pressed start and the magic happened. I was able to use this with my bike as well and for other things too. The touch screen was also responsive and had all the figures there, so it was easy to read and understand as well. It came with little accessories to use for other things which I did as well. Overall, would recommend and use!
