This little journal is perfect to record the first 5 years with baby; it has loads of space to add photos, and some of the pages come with prompts of what to write (such as milestones reached). I wish we’d got one with our first kid, as it really would be lovely to look back on now.
Lovely book, very stylish design. I love that it has lots of space for photos. It came really well packaged. The only room for improvement would be to add more pages for later years, as I love to write down some of the quirky expressions and funny stuff my little ones say!

There are pages for first photos, hand prints from birth all the way to the age of 5! You can glue in 4×6 and 5×7 photos, so a nice mixer of sizes.

This had more pages than I had realised. I gifted this to my friend who is having a baby after many many miscarriages and she was so touched she cried. It is the perfect gift for her to remember everything about her rainbow baby during the pregnancy and after he is born. It is clear to use with plenty of space for note writing, memory preservation and photographs.
It is good quality and about the size of a box of chocolate biscuits that come out at Christmas. I’ll buy this again if the need arises.
This is tastefully constructed and has a premium feel to it, which brings your initial expectation that the inside is going to go well.
It doesn’t disappoint inside, there are pages and pages of nicely thought out themes that cover all aspects of your child’s early years.
If you are looking at this and it’s in budget, I am sure you would be happy with it.

As you can see in the 1st pic it comes in a plastic cover which then comes to the box and out comes the book.
Came across 2 this one and another on here had my cousin pick it out. Money well spent. And so many lil things to add as they grow … i bought this book a lil late as my boy is now 16 weeks old.
But as i mentioned because of circumstances and didnt know.
The only downside is theres no colour, but i guess it’s not much of an issue to be honest

This is a lovely gift idea for new parents. A thick, hardback book into which you can place photos, write memories, add thoughts and wishes, put your baby’s handprints and some, but not many of their drawings, up until they are five. At the back there is a slot to put some keepsakes in, but that is so small, I can’t see the point in it. I cannot see at all what you could keep there and would suggest a small ‘memory’ box to go with this for storing things like first shoes, rattle, hospital band and so on.
This book is well put together and is softly printed. Basically the text is relatively feint, and sometimes hard to read in lower lights. It was difficult to photograph and video, for this review. All gentle greys, I would have liked to see some colour put into this, just some light pastilles on the print, to give a bit more of a boost. That said, it is clearly intended to get all of its ‘life’ and color from the content you put in, and that is where this book is good. Some of the things you hadn’t thought of including are here. The parts about your wishes for your child, and how you feel about their arrival. This will be a wonderful keepsake that you and your child will enjoy pouring over in years to come.
I do like it, but feel some of the areas might remain blank for some people.

What a beautifully designed and well put together baby memory book.
The colour and gold lettering on the cover gives it a luxurious feel. Unlike many baby books there are so many ways you can personalise this book to your own liking as there is so many pages and spaces you could add many photos too which gives an extra sentimental touch. It has pre-printed pages included with helpful prompts to record information/events that you otherwise may have been forgotten about.
It arrived in pristine condition and packaged well.
Would be a perfect gift for new mothers, expecting mothers and baby showers.

Perfect gift or something to buy to document those precious moments in your child’s life! This hard back book in pink starts from family tree and pregnancy right through till age 5! Covering all those previous milestones of first moment!

This memory book looks beautiful, has plenty of space to write specific details under the prompted questions and topics, and more space for anything extra you would like to add.
The outer book feels lovely and thick but the pages are on the thin side. So best to place something under the page being filled out. I have included a pic of the contents page to show the different sections.
This comes superbly packaged in a branded cardboard box so it is ideal for gifting. However the outside box is sealed and once opened (even carefully) may need to be sellotaped back up before wrapping. I would assume that as a present, many people would want to see what they are gifting and maybe add a couple of starter photos.
I ordered this baby record book for our son and his first child. I remember receiving one of those offered as a gift for each of our own children. They were quite thin and were designed to keep memories for their first couple years, recording the main milestones in their development.
This memory book is much more comprehensive covering the first five years of their life, with loads of space for pics at every step of the way. It doesn’t have that many illustrations compared with others on the market. It has of course all the necessary prompts to help parents to record their child’s measurements, milestones and memorable events.
The cover looks quite luxurious with gold foil lettering and the book is perfect bound which seems sturdy enough. However, while the stock for both the card cover and inside pages seem OK, it could be better for the inside pages.
The other downside for me is that it seems like a very plain design which lets it down. Type is often so small that it is illegible. Although the content houses some great ideas for capturing moments or history, the basic serif font cap headers seem odd and the hand script is at times illegible too. This is printed in one colour and the white out of the dark grey on the chapter sections may cause problems for visual impairment (along with the fonts).
It may have been a good idea to have an independent designer look over this and input a few ideas for illustrations/fonts/typography. Even with just one colour printed on (a coloured stock) creates endless possibilities. Also adhering more to RNIB guidelines would be useful.
At 19.99 at the time of this review, it is more expensive compared with other similar products on the market, however it is full of great ideas – and it follows development up to five years. Once you have applied all of your keepsakes in it including pics, then it should be cherished for years to come.
I am super happy i bought this, very well made and put together looks classy. Id recommend to anyone looking for a special little memory book for their child. I got the pink one and in love with it, its perfect.
The quality of this book is great in my opinion, the paper is nice and thick, the colouring is clean, well thought out, and nicely consistent, I like that it doesn’t jump about with different graphics and colours, it just flows nicely.
I really like how the book gives me, us, so many things that we wouldn’t of necessarily thought of recording, but having looked through the book, and seeing them, it makes perfect sense to me, and I can see the value in recording them.
I like the fact that whilst the book does “Guide”, and give certain “Things” to record, it also gives an amount of freedom, and space to include things perhaps unique to us, or at least “We think” they are, but the point is they’ve left space for it.
I feel like this is a really nice, album, that will become a genuinely cherished item.
All in all, I, we, love this album, and thats why I felt like it totally deserved 5 stars, which I don’t often give.
I bought this book for myself to document all of the memories and milestones of our little one. It’s so beautifully made and would make such a lovely gift for parents to be! There’s plenty of sections to fill in to remember all of the ‘firsts’/favourites/etc and lots of space to add photos too. Would highly recommend.
I bought this as a gift for my goddaughter and her parents love filling the book out with photos every month. It’s such a lovely way to remember how much she’s changed and I couldn’t be happier with the product!
The baby book arrived very well presented in a cardboard box, sealed with cellophane. Inside is the hardback book which is again protect with a plastic bag so the journal arrived in pristine condition. However, I did think it was a shame that instead of a cardboard box which you have to tear open it would have been better if it was a storage box for the journal which could be kept long term. That aside, the baby book would make a lovely gift at a baby shower since it really begins when the baby is born. I received the book in a cream colour but I am aware that it is also available in both grey and pink as well.
The book itself is a hardback book which has a fabric covering with gold foil embossed text on the front and contains 136 pages which comprehensively covers your little ones first five years of life — it acts as a great prompt to diarise those precious moments and record them to look back at years later. It has lots of space to add your own photographs and there are also pages to add thoughts / stories. The square book measures 250mm x 250mm with a thickness of 2cm. It also features a gold ribbon so you can quickly get back to your previous page.
The book is split into chapters which cover family background, welcoming the baby into the world, height and weight charts, bringing the baby home, the first-year split down into months, spaces for handprints and footprints, years 1 to 5 and going to school. The sections are comprehensive and are thoughtfully laid out which makes it easy to fill in. There is also space to fit 4×6 and 5×7 photographs in the journal which is a lovely touch. The book is ideal for reflecting with your child when they are older.
It has an excellent format and the journal is nicely presented with good quality paper which doesn’t bleed with the gel pens I use. Priced at 19.99 at the time of reviewing, this is a lovely baby journal with nice presentation packaging which would make perfect baby shower gift for a mother to be or even for yourself. As a keepsake of yours and your little one’s first years together this is a really lovely — I would highly recommend it!
