This is one the toys I most remember from my youth and wanted to get one for my son, I bought if as a Christmas present, it arrived in good time and well packaged. The toy itself is smaller than I expected but there is plenty of space to make light up pictures. The pegs sit in the holes ok and light up well. Overall a great little toy and my son will have plenty of fun with it just as I did at his age!

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersBought this for my 7 year old daughter for Easter. It’s now 2.15pm and she has been playing with it since 9am!! She LOVES it. She has created her own images as well as using the templates to create. Super toy!

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersA great retro product. I’ve been waiting for this coming back for years and so pleased it did for the 5 yr old to enjoy. The base is a lot thinner than previous versions and doesn’t stand up as well but it does lie flat ok. They have made the backing black not white like in the 90s so no need for tons of black paper to make your own pictures on. There could be more lights for a better effect. The pegs and everything else is the same as the original. It’s a well loved addition to the toy collection and has hours of play value and value for money u like some of the more modern toys.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersThis was a gift for a 5 year old boy and was loved by the recipient! Several other child guests have been drawn to it and we think the way it lights up is lovely. Batteries seem to last a while as it’s been in lots of use for a few weeks and still not run out. I think incorporating a storage pot for the pegs would be an improvement as they can easily go everywhere.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersMy 6 year old son got this for Christmas he really loves it and so do I. I had one of these in the 90s and it was my favourite toy back then. When delivered it’s not hidden so be careful if kids around they don’t see it getting delivered and address sticker stuck to box. I don’t understand why it’s so dear now because I paid 18 and I wish it come with more pictures because we have nearly completed them all. other than that great buy highly recommended.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersLooks great but bought for my son for Christmas and came today in no packaging so he has seen it as half term and close by as I opened the door , also delivery label stuck to it and ripped it as pulled off so looks awful to give to someone else.

Golden Review Award: 37 From Our UsersAny toy with a multitude of tiny bits and teeny holes requires patience, advanced fine motor skills and an innate willingness to tidy up. Be sure the child-recipient possesses all these traits before gifting this item. Harried mums will thank you. My children played with sets like this 35 years ago, so I understood its strengths and weaknesses. Luckily I guessed right and the 5-year-old birthday girl loved it. Playing with the toy will be fun and will enhance her well-developed skills. Know your recipient’s strengths and choose accordingly.
