The colours are very strong, need a light hand try em at night not on your way out the door lol. Very pretty but can dry out the lips after a few uses, watermelon is darker then I thought but due to the saturation these colours might look nice on deeper skin tones 🙂
These are really pretty and will stain anything that it touches however they are also very bright in color and doesn’t suit a redhead with really fair skin like me. If you have a darker complexion or is blonde or dark haired it would suit you a lot better!
I think that these are super cute and have good colors. These are a dupe for the benefit ones in my opinion. The only downfall is trying to put these on like blush does not work well. It dries to quickly to blend it on the face. These are super drying to the lips after they have full set. I usually have to wear chapstick or a lip oil overtop. But for the price I think they are worth it.
I’m a big fan of the Etude water tint so thought I’d try these . Personally, I found them way too pigmented- they didn’t give me that “post popsicle” lip bitten stain but rather looked very dark and unnatural on my lips and additionally, we’re very hard to work with to apply in a lighter fashion (much harder than the Etude). That said, I love the packaging – the mini vials are perfect for putting in a small purse or pocket. This just wasn’t the best product for me.
1. First prep the Lips with chapstick
2. Apply a few dots of the stain throughout the lips upper and lower.
3. Quickly rub lips together to blend the “dots” all over the lips!
I have found I love the look if I apply this stain over chapstick and just a few dots .. I didn’t like it as much when I applied it to the entire lips with a heavy coat but that doesn’t mean you won’t because if you’re used to a “full coverage” bright lipstick look you will love this stain all over in a heavy coat because it lasts forever.. once I even wore it over night and it was still on in the morning.. I have noticed if you eat it will come off .
Like so many others on here these are small jars but a very little goes a long way they do not always last as long it helps to cleanse and scrub the lip before applying it will help the stain to last a little longe
The bottles are small, comes in a 2 pack. I ordered the 2 pack with the 07 and 04 but will last a very long time.
I say intermediate because you really need to know what you’re doing, it looks bad if you do your entire lips with a lot of the product, because it works fast, and is very bright/concentrated. (Use a cuetip)
Hard to avoid the inner part of the lip but try because it tastes like rubbing alcohol.
Lasts the entire day as long as you don’t drink tea/coffee.
I really wanted to find something that last and has strong pigment these colours are all beautiful best thing I’ve ever brought on Amazon I will be buying again Thankyou Thankyou Thankyou
The raspberry one is more of a purple red, very pretty
My only comment is that if you bite your lip or do anything of the sort it was start to fade or if you drink something it might transfer. If you layer it under something then it might pill up EVEN THO ITS FULLY DRY. It has only happened with Vaseline. BUT ON THE CHEEK ITS BEAUTIFUL AND I HAVE TO WASH IT OFF FOR IT TO COME OFF
I got the 4 pack with apple, watermelon, strawberry & cherry shades. Watermelon caught my eyes first after swatch test, so that is the colour on my lips. Don’t know what everyone is talking about on smell/taste because this stuff both smells and tastes like the little fake makeup kits I used to get as a kid. It’s tolerable- not terrible, but not like candy either. The application was painless and easy. A couple well-placed swipes & I had pretty lips! I did it again to make the color more pronounced (so 2 passes and they’re that vivid ). The stains dry super quickly (maybe a minute or less).then you add gloss or chapstick & go about your day! Lasts a *very* long time. This is my first time using this brand so I’ll check back in on a better wear time, but the last really decent lip stain I got went on like this & it would last all day and night- eating drinking, etc so I’m hoping this will do the same! Overall GREAT buy and I have high hopes this will be similar to my beloved old discontinued product!! Worth it!
The Good: bright and bold colors last through one to two meals, and maybe a bit of stain remains beyond if you don’t reapply.
The Cons: The taste is not pleasant. Once the color is dried, I moisten a tissue and blot off excess that’s not waterproof already. That seems to be the stuff that doesn’t taste nice. It’s also not very moisturizing and it is tingly. I do moisten my lips with balm, really rubbing it in and removing excess before applying. A lasting lip gloss over top is helpful though mine is enhancing the tingling. A coat of lip balm over the top as needed is helpful, and reduces the tingling in my case.
That said, I’m very happy to have a natural lip stain that really lasts and provides plenty of color to “pop.”
I got many time tint but this one it’s so different I love all 3color.it’s a little small but it’s lovely
