Like others who’ve written reviews I agree with them that it’s a great little device. My only issue is that it repeatedly unpairs with my phone.
I’ve contacted Customer Service via email 3 times about this issue but sadly NO REPLY from them.
Disgusting Customer Service care.
I love this speaker – this is my 2nd one after the 1st one was stolen.
I just wish I could get it to link up to my Alexa account as it’s supposed to.
Great volume & clarity for such a small speaker, I use it all the time
This boompod is exactly what I was looking for and it hooks up to my Alexa app within minutes. So easy to use I absolutely love it. It will be coming on our holidays with us this year my daughter suggested it’d be great on the beach (potentially in a phone protecting, sand and water proof pouch).
Highly recommend for on the go listening to music. I use it in my nanny job to play kids songs on and they love it too
Like(s) – A battery charge lasts ages… and the sound quality (and volume) is amazing. Bluetooth pairing is simplicity itself and I like the voice-assistance that tells you what it’s doing. I use it as a companion to my iPhone for music playback… and it’s great. And small enough to be carried unobtrusively in a trouser pocket.
PS – My apologies to all the diners at Wagamama when I demonstrated this wee speaker to my audiophile brother and his partner. The entire (huge) restaurant turned our way as I tried to shut the speaker down quickly, even over the restaurant’s own background music… my fault completely.
Bought for my stepson he loves it it’s just tiny but has a big sound and can even be linked to your Alexa so he can carry Alexa everywhere he is thrilled with it.
It’s so small, yet it is quite powerful
The only things I’ve found a little annoying:
– the charging cable is a pain to access.
– the software you need to install to be able to use it fully is a little annoying as once you’ve got it connected you’ll probably never use it agai
It’s smaller than a golf ball so fits in anywhere. The volume and ultimate sound reproduction are very good.Connection via Bluetooth to a mobile phone with the app is straight forward and the Bluetooth range is better than some of our much more expensive speakers. A novel but great bit of kit.
It really is the size of an egg.
This little speaker is brilliant for my young grandchild great-sounding and so far no problems with build quality, only issue is I wanted a blue one and got a white one instead with no reason to why.
Also I used it for the digital radio stations, but it turns of if you recond on your phone’s camera. So I can’t film the sound quality for this review… The sound is not too shabby for the size of it though.
Also Alexa drop in is not supported.
I was really happy until I downloaded the app and found out you have to keep pressing the mic button on the app to talk and ask Alexa questions is this right or have I done something wrong
I’ve just discovered you press the button on the bottom of the speaker which I now have changed the star rating from two to fou
This speaker is tiny but still managed to pump out an acceptable sound at a reasonable volume. Not very intuitive to get it working with Alexa but once you know how, it’s easy enough.
