I love this moisturiser as it isn’t heavy which is great for oily/ acne prone skin. It has hyaluronic acid which is great for hydration. It has ceramides which helps build the skin barrier. I love it as it feels great on the skin and it doesn’t break me out. My skin is very healthy when I use this. The packaging looks really aesthetically pleasing as well.
Perfect for dry flaky skin it leaves skin very moisturised velvety soft and its good that it isn’t scented. It is on the expensive side so may change when it runs out.
I’ve been using CeraVe Moisturising Lotion for a few months now, and it’s become a staple in my skincare routine. The lotion is fragrance-free and non-irritating, which is perfect for my sensitive skin. It provides long-lasting moisture without being heavy or sticky. My only minor gripe is that it can take a minute to fully absorb, but once it does, my skin feels smooth and hydrated all day. The pump bottle is convenient and hygienic. Overall, a fantastic product that delivers on its promises
I’ve tried countless creams and this has been my favourite by far. I’m infamous for buying a cream and never using it because it doesn’t do anything, leaving me with a collection of creams that are a year or two old and still full – but I’ve already gone through one in a few months!
Recommended by my cousin’s friend who had researched the ingredients and said it’s the only cream she’d recommend – and one that is gentle enough that works for both regular body use and on your face?! – she was absolutely right and this lotion has become a daily staple!
I apply this to my body and face and it keeps my skin hydrated all day. It’s particularly good when applying on top of a serum as it just locks in the moisture and I can see a positive difference in how my skin looks.
I love the texture of this moisturiser. It’s thick but spreads & dries to a non sticky finish. It has HA & ceramides which are naturally found in skin & importantly no scent so no real risk of irritation.
Can’t go wrong with CeraVe in my experience. I have combination skin that can get pretty dry in places depending on the environment. I love the texture of this product – not too thick but enough that it is hydrating without getting oily. I also layer the lotion when my skin is really in need. I like that there is no scent and it works well under makeup.
Delighted with price, having recently paid nearly same price for half quantity. One of the few moisturisers that doesn’t bring me out in a rash so use it to remove make-up too.
Really moisturising, feels nourishing, absorbs quickly and it’s not too thick so you don’t need a lot of it to get a good spread over the body. Skin feels great afterwards! Would buy again.
It has a nice consistency and easily absorbed, no fragrance and has helped my dry hard working hands. It’s more than I would normally pay for a lotion but well worth it. I will be reordering. It does last.
Once upon a time, in the not-so-far-away land of My Bathroom, there lived a humble tub of moisturizing lotion. But oh, dear reader, this was no ordinary lotion. This was the Moisturising Lotion of Legends, a veritable knight in shining armor for parched skin everywhere. My trusty sidekick and I (that’s my adventurous 3-year-old for those not in the know) embarked on a quest to conquer the dreaded Dragons of Dryness.
For my valiant little partner, these dragons manifested as dry patches, fearsome foes that had eluded many a potion and spell. Yet, with just a dollop of our magical lotion, those dragons were tamed, their scaly wrath soothed into submission. Her skin transformed from a parched parchment to a smooth canvas, ready for the masterpieces only a toddler can create.
As for me, the noble knight in this saga, the dragons took form around my noble visage. Yes, even knights suffer from the tyranny of dry skin, my valiant steed (or rather, my face) adorned with the parched landscapes of my top lip and the noble forests of my sideburns. Yet, this lotion, with its mystical powers, vanquished the dryness without leaving behind a greasy residue, akin to a wizard’s spell that leaves no trace except for its wondrous magic.
The potion’s vessel, a large tub, is akin to a treasure chest, brimming with an abundance of creamy riches. Its value, unparalleled; its contents, a balm to soothe the most tempestuous of skins. And let us not forget the texture, oh the texture! As delightful as the finest silks from the far-off lands of Smoothville, it glides upon the skin with the grace of a thousand swans.
A marvel to behold, this lotion carries no scent, a boon for those of us embarked on stealthy quests who wish not to announce our presence with the fanfare of fragrances. It’s as if it whispers, “I am here to hydrate, not to overpower.”
So here we stand, my daughter and I, battle-worn yet victorious, our skin a testament to the battles we’ve won. We owe our triumph to this unscented, non-greasy, marvelously textured, and economically sized tub of Moisturising Lotion. Five stars to this heroic companion in our daily adventures, a true ally in the eternal fight against the Dragons of Dryness!
This is amazing stuff! It has a light consistency, it’s easy to apply, and it quickly absorbs into the skin leaving it smooth and protected. There is barely any smell to it, which is a bonus. The pump dispenser is responsive enough to give you just a drop of moisturiser right up to a good dollop, depending on your needs. My partner came out of hospital with a lot of dry skin, which was terribly itchy for him. As soon as I applied this it soothed the itch and his skin settled down completely within a few days. This isn’t the cheapest option out there, but it’s something that I will always keep in stock now. Happy to recommend.
I bless the day when a friend recommended this to me. At the time I suffered from dey skin on my legs and arms. Not any more, this keeps me hydrated. No more itchy skin.
First time using of this product, it has a very creamy texture and makes my face feel well moisturised. You don’t need a lot. I like that it is fragrance and alcohol free. The press pump is very convenient.
Bought for use on skin during and after radiotherapy. I don’t know how effective it was as there wasn’t any time I didn’t use it, but my skin felt fine and didn’t dry out or blister or peel. So I guess it worked for me.
No 5 stars because I’ve nothing to complain it with.
The size is quite small for the price and to this effect I will give 4 stars, don’t misunderstand me the product is super good but it came in a small bottle.
Im actually really fussy with moisturiser, normally i use coco butter but all the ones on here wanted 20 for p&p. Ao thought is try this. It leaves my skin feeling really soft, its not greasy at all and a little goes a long way too so will last a long time
Pictures 3 & 4 show what the skin on my inner elbows looked like when I started using CeraVe for the first time. Pictures 5 & 6 show what my skin looked like just under 4 weeks later Worth trying to see if it helps you.
The texture is very soft and of a perfect consistency between watery and thick that is so easy to spread, absorbed quickly, and so satisfying to use.
It works very well as a moisturiser in general. And when I sneeze too much and chaffe my nose with tissue paper, I slather it on multiple times, this lotion soothes and helps recovering faster.
I like that you can use it on both face and body and comes in a pump bottle, making it an easy go-to solution whenever my skin feels dry. Good for top-up too even if you have another skincare routine.
It’s not the cheapest thing out there, but for the quality and how long one bottle lasts me, I’d definitely say it’s worth it.
Overall, I can see where the hype came from and would personally recommend.
