I read other reviews of this rangefinder and did my research. Keen to avoid spending a fortune I found this had great reviews and was a great low cost option. Has all the features you expect in a high end model and well built too. Well worth the money. Only limitation is that it’s not magnetic (the strap is but not the rangefinder so you still need to put it in the strap to hold it on your cart). 9.5/10 based on functionality and cost!!

Excellent accurate feels like good quality. item just as good as more expensive range finders . Rechargeable and all cables the only downside which is nothing really is there’s not a carabiner clip to fix to bag. This is what you would expect from a Lazer construction company

In my opinion, if you try hard not to be put-off by the uncanny-valley style weird photo edits of golf models pretending to use this in the descriptions and actually give it a try you might be as surprise as I was to see its really very good, and at the time of my review there is a 20 off voucher bringing it to be under<70, and it has a solid feature set at this price point - so I think the value makes it an easy recommendation. Comfortable to hold, and intuitive to use after a bit of practice. Seems accurate.

This golf rangefinder fits nicely in the hand with the controls positioned for easy operation.

It comes with a hard case with a zip fastening and elasticated strap. It also comes with a magnetic strap that can be wrapped around the rangefinder so it can be easy attached to any metal object such as a golf buggy or cart. This isn’t as convenient as some others that have a magnet built into the body does the job.

The eyepiece has a focus ring and the display is bright and clear. It has all of the usual rangefinder functions including slope compensation which is operated with a sliding switch on the rear.

This is a good, solid rangefinder that is a handy accessory to have to hand.

The CIGMAN Golf Range Finder is a golfer’s dream come true, combining precision, innovation, and user-friendly features to elevate your game on the green. With USB rechargeability, 800 yards of range, 6X magnification, and flag pole locking vibration, this rangefinder is a game-changer for golf enthusiasts.

    Precision in Every Shot:

The heart of any rangefinder is its accuracy, and the CIGMAN Golf Range Finder delivers. With an impressive range of 800 yards and 6X magnification, you can confidently lock onto your target, whether it’s the flagstick, hazards, or bunkers. The flag pole locking vibration feature ensures you know when you’ve got the perfect measurement, eliminating any guesswork.

    Slope Mode for Elevated Accuracy:

The inclusion of slope mode is a brilliant addition, especially for golfers who want to factor in the terrain’s slope into their club selection. This feature provides you with precise measurements, allowing you to make more informed decisions and adapt to the course’s challenges with ease.

    Magnetic Rangefinder Mount Strap:

The magnetic rangefinder mount strap is a thoughtful touch that enhances usability. It keeps your rangefinder secure and easily accessible on your golf bag, cart, or even your belt. No more fumbling through pockets or leaving it behind on the fairway.

This is quite a nice compact rangefinder which is easy to use in one hand and at a reasonable price compared to most that are on the market. The quality is top notch as it’s made from good materials and feels quite a premium product when using it. It comes with it’s own carry case, a magnetic clip, a lanyard, a charging cable and a cleaning cloth. Focussing is via a manual turn ring and so far it’s proved to be quite accurate when measuring the distance to the flag which it can lock on to. It has a function for slope compensation which can also be turned off if entering any tournaments. This is proving to be a useful tool which can be used for all levels, Recommended.

For a Rangefinder at this price I was pleasantly surprised.
I played with someone with a 350 Bushnell and the distances were spot on. Yes it lacks some of the sophistication and features of more expensive lasers but if you want to just get the distance to hazards, trees or the pin it does a great job.

The range finder is small and easy to handle using one hand.

I have been playing golf for sometime and this device has helped me to have better and consistent shots during practice. Its easy to use and comes with two key features like slope detection and flag pole locking.

It comes with a nice pouch where you can store it when it’s not in use.

I think its is a good rangefinder for competent golf player.

This rangefinder is easy to use, accurate, and has some great features. The magnetic rangefinder mount strap is very convenient and allows me to attach the device to my cart or bag. The USB rechargeable battery is also a plus, as I don’t have to worry about running out of power or buying new batteries. It is compact, lightweight, and durable. It comes with a carrying case, a cleaning cloth, and a user manual. The display is clear and bright, and the 6X magnification is enough for me to see the target clearly. It measures distances in yards or meters, and can switch between them easily. It also has a scan mode that continuously updates the distance as I move the device around. I have used it on several courses and it has performed well in different weather conditions. I would recommend this rangefinder to anyone who wants to improve their golf game and have more fun on the course. It is worth the price and has a one-year warranty.

This near little gadget comes with strap, cable and lanyard. What I really like us that the outer case is very sturdy. The magnification could lend itself to bring used as a kind of monocular as it’s 6x. I got it for my husband, and he likes that the read out shows up clearly. It’s a great bit of kit, fab for his golf and he may take it out walking too. It is a reasonable price at circa 90 currently, and good quality. Recommend this.

This is such a great tool, for not only golf but other situations too such as wildlife watching.

The instructions are clear and concise . It shows you how to lock onto the flag as well as switching between the five modes easily. You can use with one hand and also attach to the golf bag using the built in magnet.

I like how you can charge using the usb c cable provided, this makes it much easier than worrying about it running out of batteries. The range finder is lightweight and easy to use for all ages.

Found it easy to use, and easy to read as well, I am a bit of a beginner anyway so the fact that you can see the distance md appreciate using this little device is mind-blowing, the plastics are quality and the fact that it comes with its own pouch is a plus.

This golf range finder comes in retail cardboard box and inside you’ll find the range finder, hard case, USB-C charging lead, carrying strap, palm strap, cleaning cloth, and a user manual.

The hard case is pretty decent and offers great protection for the range finder. It has a zip closing and an elasticated strap can be hooked over the top as a second measure to make sure the case stays closed.

The range finder is lightweight and fits in the palm of your hand. It has a rubber texture to it which makes it more grippy as you hold it. It is rechargeable and the USB-C port is hidden under a flap on the front. The eye piece has an adjustable focus which produces a crystal-clear image. It’s not a wide view through the eye piece but it’s enough to see what you’re trying to find.

I tried this out in the garden to see how accurate the readings are as I can compare it with a laser measure. Measurements were accurate to 2mm from my measurements which is pretty impressive. It’s simple to use as you just point it at your object and click the power button and the reading comes up immediately. If you hold the power button, it goes into live mode and as you move it around, the distance reading instantly changes to whatever object you point it at, and it’s updated in real time. I’ve tested this at an object which is 600 meters away and it still came up with a distance reading immediately and I’m really impressed in how quick it gives you a reading. There is a no laser coming out of it which I can see so however it does it, you can’t see a laser like most laser measures.

I’m really impressed with this and if you need to know the distance of an object, I can’t recommend this enough. The readings are quick and the live mode tells you the distance of different objects as you move over them.

5.0 out of 5 stars Gives an instant reading and is accurate to 2mm...

Got this for my golf-enthusiast father. He is very happy with it, saying it has very clear and detailed magnification and is helping him improve his game.
He is in his 60s, but got used to the buttons and menus within 10 minutes. He likes the carry case and says it carries of plenty of charge – more than enough for 18 holes.
    Recharging is via USB.

I tested this on a lamp post, through a window, and was pleased to find that not only was it easy to use, but accurate too. It has a variety of functions, but the primary one is to calculate the distance to a flag, or in my case a post. With 6X optical magnification it can be used as a monocular, the eyepiece includes a focus ring, and the LCD readout is clear and sharp. Against a bright background the black lettering is easy to read.

The package includes a magnetic strap, lanyard and charge cable. It all comes in a hard case, which protects the range finder from damage. The internal battery is charged via a USB-C lead (good as it can be inserted either way round) and looks like it will last a good while between charges.

The range finder includes a slope compensator, I assume this must be an internal level to compensate for an uphill or downhill measurement. There’s also a speed measurement mode, I don’t think this has any use in golfing but is a novel feature for passing cars.

The list price of 90 is reduced to 70 with a current Amazon voucher which is competitive, similar products range between about 60 and 300 on Amazon.

This is very compact and very lightweight. You need to properly read the manual to understand how to use it (it’s not entirely intuitive) but once you do know how to use it, it’s easy, though there are certain button press combinations you will need to memorise for certain functions. I’ve been making some use of this with my archery, and comparing readings against known measured distances of targets, the claim of being accurate to around a yard or so seems entirely believable, at least up to 100 yards or so – it claims to be able to measure up to 800 yards which I can’t test.

Comes with storage pouch, separate lanyard (which is quite fiddly to feed through the hole on the unit), USB A to USB C charging cable, lens cleaning cloth, and a magnetic strap.

I have been very impressed with this rangefinder. It comes with a solid, and stylish carrying case is a black design with a handy metal clip. The case has mesh pockets to hold the range finder. The range finder also comes with an easy to follow instruction manual, a microfiber cloth to wipe the lens and a usb c charging cable, but no plug end. In all it has pretty much everything you need to get up and running with the product.!.

The quality of this rangefinder is very decent, it is made of thick plastic in a black that looks very good indeed. In terms of size and practicality, the range finder is small, lightweight and is quite comfortable to use. Battery life too is very decent with a single charge giving around 6 hours use.

In terms of performance the rangefinder works very well and the data is accurate. However, unlike previous models this only has the one mode – pure distance – and its ideally used for golf as opposed to hunting etc. The finder measures the distance to the target in meters and yards and it also indicates the angle to the item as well.

Overall, this is a great little item and I would certainly recommend it!

This is a nice range finder and really good for the price. It has more features than I expected at this price range and they work very well. For instance, such as the flagpole lock function. For me, this is probably the single best feature, as the flag relative to where I am is a really good indicator of range.

At just under 90, I think this is excellent value!

I’m impressed by the build quality and premium feel of this range finder. It’s light too and comes supplied with a durable feeling carry case. The display is bright and clear, and I found it very easy to use and operate. You’ll be able to use it in all weathers with the water proofing and anti fogging features although… who goes golfing in the fog? Joking aside it’s got you covered in all weather situations.
    Pros:

    Accurate measurement
    Slope compensation
    Multiple measurement modes
    Lightweight and portable
    Durable construction

    Cons:

May not be the most affordable option

In summary this feels like a great product. I’ve never used a range finder before so I am no expert on these but as a newbie it feels solid, premium, easy to use, and useful. Not sure it can help me being terrible at gold but that one is on me. Recommend it.

First impression do not disappoint and I was not disappointed love the accessories the charging cables and life length the instruction leaflet is very well written easy to follow which makes the ranger easy to use really impressed that you get a hard case to carry the rangefinder in which opens only 30 degrees so it’s near impossible for the range of fallout if you forget to zip up the case. Brilliant
You have a couple of ways to carry the rangefinder one I’ve used a little hook on the back by the belt loop to connect a carabiner hook and I attach that to my trolley the other way is to use the belt loop either have it on your golf strap or when you belt strap very easy
Very impressed with the overlook of the rangefinder I love that you have a sliding switch to move from slope to non-slope and it’s simply easy to turn on simply press the on button aim where you want to view and it gives you the distance the display shows you the distance if you have the slope on the slope which charge you got left very impressed
I find that this has made a big difference to my game as I can clearly see how far the flag is from any distance around the course brilliant allows the flag moves around the green you get a more accurate yardage of where you need to hit the ball brilliant don’t know what I did without it very impressed highly recommend

This range finder is not a Bushnell, but this is not a Bushnell price. For golfers wanting to try out a range finder, then parting with 72 (currently 90 less 20% discount) is going to get you a pretty good value piece of kit. Does the job well – easy to lock on and is accurate to my other range finder to within +/- a yard. Comes with a hard carry case and magnetic holster. USB-C chargeable to save spending further cash on batteries and helping the environment a little. Recommended.

This golf range finder might be useful for you, it can reach 800 yards apparently, although I have not tested it at that distance.

I like that this is black, it makes it suitable for all genders and being a neutral colour it doesn’t really stand out too much.

The range finder comes in a nice hard shell case, and even when it is inside, the whole thing is pretty small and light.

Using the rangefinder is easy enough, and explained well in the manual. On small measurable distances it would seem to be pretty accurate, even if I haven’t been able to verify 800 yards.

To be honest, for my level of golf, I think that this won’t help much as even knowing the distance won’t help me, but I hope to play more in the future and improve, so maybe then it will be more useful!

In the box you get the following:
    1 x Golf rangefinder
    1 x Hard shell case
    1 x Cleaning cloth
1 x Magnetic range finder mount strap
    1 x Lanyard
    1 x USB charging cable
    1 x User manual

This range finder seems pretty good quality, and it is rechargeable too.

Comes with a good hard case and instruction manual. It’s very easy to use, just point, press the button et voila the distance is displayed on the screen, does slope as well. Whilst it’s relatively easy to see the readout on a bright background, against a darker or busy background it’s harder to make out as the readout is Black LED, I’ve used another that had a bright orange readout that is much easier to see no matter the background.

The optics are very good, nice and bright, the magnification is great, and it lets in plenty of light so it’s very clear. It’s been overcast since I received this, yet it still looks good, plus according to the manual it’s even more accurate on overcast days as there’s less sunlight for the pulses to fight against. The magnets are strong so clipping this to your bag or a club for easy access is a handy feature I used more than I thought I would, plus you charge it via USB!

Over all I think this is pretty handy, easy to use and accurate, just wish the readout out was a bright colour rather than being black, it seems well priced.

    Hope my review was helpful
