i use mine everyday, i absolutely love it gets me moving, i can walk & run on it and im around 99-100kgs.. and no issue! i’ve recommended this to all my friends as it’s just the perfect item for keeping active
No assembly needed, just plug in and press the on switch under the front of the treadmill. Operated by hand held control, battery already in and off you go! The treadmill is easy to manoeuvre on a wooden floor, fits neatly under our small 2 seater sofa!
Was a bit reluctant to buy this treadmill as I wanted to run on it and didn’t know how fast it would go too, however looking at the reviews I thought why not try especially for the price.
So you can power walk on it and also can do a slow run which is on Speed 6 (8km pace I do) which is perfect for me. The treadmill itself is quiet, I do use it in the garage so guessing it would be okay inside. Also great that it is on wheels so you can just move it around anywhere and it isn’t heavy. So glad I purchased this. It is a good starter machine if anyone wants to get into running.
I’ve been using this for around 6 months now, I use it for around 50 mins at a time, 2-3 times a day, 5 times a week. It’s the best thing I’ve ever gotten myself, I keep it under my standing desk and just walk while working, I get 10k steps a day easily with this. I do not run on it, ever. I’ve had zero issues with it so far, definitely recommend.
Haven’t got no storage space or room to stand it up so it sits between my bed and window which is great as it can not be seen..plus due to mobility issues I land safely on my bed and can also hold on to my window still if I stumble
Works perfect with no issue..haven’t used the Bluetooth as I watch tv while on my walk
We bought this purposely for an “easy to store” fitness machine and it does just that. With 1-6 modes, 6 you can either fast walk or slow jog, and after an hour you certainly feel it working, it displays time, distance and calories. It has Bluetooth which is very simple to connect. It also comes with oil in case of any heavy use it starts to squeak although ours does not after 6 months of use. With it being very low in height it can be easily slid under a sofa or bed, for the price it’s definitely worth it.
Delivered the next day. A bit heavier than I thought it would be. Well packed. From reading previous reviews I’ve kept the box. Only had it a few days and it’s changed my life. Works really well and easy to use. A little louder than I thought it would be. Speakers work well and connects to Bluetooth now problems. If you have balance problems then you’ll need a bar!
It’s a great walking treadmill, but I find the quality to be a bit of the cheap side. It’s making some squeaking noises already. Don’t try to run on it. It’s better to use socks instead of shoes otherwise it’s very noisy.
I love this! It fits under my desk and my NEAT has improved massively. I hit my step target when the weather is bad or my son wants to stay in. Even better – my son loves it too and it wears him out for bedtime! Its not too noisy either. I’ve had no complaints from the neighbours yet!
I really like this treadmill. It’s perfectly simple. It has no fancy functions and therefore literally 3 buttons to operate. If you any something to walk on while watch tv to burn some calories then this is the very thing. I did half a million steps in March!
Goes fast enough for a brisk walk or a very slow jog, so perfect for beginners and I’d say really suitable for older people looking for an exercise facility as it’s very basic and easy to use
Stylish walking pad with easy to set up controls. Easy to use and lightweight with wheels to transport from storage to use. Would recommend for anyone looking to start walking from the comfort of their own home
I wanted to wait a while to write a fair review. I have had this for three months now and have used it regularly.
No issues apart from its not the most stable and might not be great for people with balance issues. The belt can jump at times and as there is nothing to hold on to you have to be mindful.
It is heavier than I realised and hard to find somewhere to store it. I was well aware when I bought it I might find it difficult to store.
Overall I am very pleased. Just marked down one star for weight and the fact it’s difficult to store.
I also think it’s a very fair price.
I would recommend as great to get extra steps in.
So far so good. Am loving it. It does what it says, is quiet, easy to move, slim for storing & gives me the workout I need. The digital display is good and the Bluetooth is an added bonus that I didn’t think I’d use but have given it a try and will probably use more often than not. Very pleased with the produc
Love this machine, fairly heavy to move though. I did send a query to company but constantly bounced back. The only thing I found was the off button on control is so close to speed. Accidentally pressed this and fell off so just be aware. But I do love it despite this
I was a little dubious after reading some of the reviews about the belt slipping however it’s not too much of an issue. Yes the belt does move over but it’s very gradual and considering it’s been used for several hours already since Friday (today is Sunday) we’ve only had to adjust the belt once and it took seconds just before using it again tonight.
Plus Points:
Light
Easy to manoeuvre on the front wheels
Comes with a remote
Speed adjusts quickly
Bluetooth speaker to connect to your phone for music (speaker better than I expected but don’t expect BOSE quality)
Slim enough to hide under or behind the sofa if you don’t have space to leave out (this is what I do).
Slight Negatives:
When you turn off the machine it counts down the speed but doesn’t show you your workout stats so if you want to keep a record make sure you note your distance before you switch it off.
I don’t know who the calorie information is based on but it’s 100% not accurate (see pictures). My fitness watch has my weight, age, height info so is more accurate but the difference is huge. I’d love to be able to add profiles to either the machine or an app so that the workout can be more accurate but considering I have a fitness watch this isn’t really an issue but it would be a nice to have.
Would i recommend it:
Yes, yes I would.
No assemble required straight out the box, plug and go! It comes with remote, silicone oil, instructions and adjusting tool. Display panel indicates time, distance, speed & calories. I tend to use it under desk for walking (speed 3-3.5) while working from home. It is the simplest way to push myself get moving instead of sitting around whole day. Highly recommend!
I am very happy we have gotten this treadmill, as we have been planning to get one for a while, but always passed on them because they take up so much space.
This one fits under our bed.
It is not too heavy for a treadmill. It comes pretty much set up.
Some of the downsides are that there are no wheels so it moves more easily when you move it to and from storage, and the remove can be a bit flimsy sometimes, but overall it is great.
The speed is adjustable, and adjustable in a safe manner. When you turn it off, it slowly decreases the speed.
You need to be carful as there is nothing to hold onto and you do get a bit dizzy when you just get off it, but that’s just something you have to deal with if you want a space-saving treadmill.
The Bluetooth connection works great as well – we have been listening to favourite music coming from this treadmill.
I cannot recommend it enough. It is great!
I bought this walking pad after a lot of reviewing others and im very happy with it its not heavy so very easy to move I stack it against the wall when not in use instructions are easy to follow if the belt moves which they did after the first use and i use it 4 times a week for half hour a day and the belts not moved yet
The display is large on easy to see which shows how long ive been on it the remote is easy to use and i normally stick to speed 3.5/4.00 which is fast enough for me I dont use the pad for music or anything i just watch the tv while im walking and i love it so far so good
I have an electric standing desk as I find that staying upright and standing can sometimes help with my energy levels and activeness during the day, although until now, I’ve not tried walking while working at my computer at the same time. The only thing I think that could improve this for me would be to have a tilt function for walking on an incline, otherwise, I’m very happy with the performance so far.
Other than gym treadmills, I’ve never used one at home so this has been awesome for increasing my activity levels at home without having to face inclement weather. No matter what time of day or the weather, I can reach my target steps for the day in (15k). It maxes out at 6km/hr, so it may not have the range you’re looking for if you want to HIIT train with sprints at your max velocity.
The treadmill has a large, bright digital display to show the elapsed time and speed and includes a remote control for turning it off or adjusting the treadmill speed as needed. It has manual control buttons on the front of the treadmill as well.
Something that is missing here is the convenience factor of having wheels to move it into place and then out of the way when you’re done using it. Lay it out in the morning when I first get on my computer to get me up and walking right away but at some point, I move it out of the way when I’m done with it. It’s not insanely heavy but it’s large and bulky so for older folks who want something more mobile, I’m not sure this is the right model to go for unless you can rig up a wheeled system on your own.
This treadmill came completely assembled. I just had to take it out of the box. I’ve used it a few times and it’s good for a walk/light job (but not running). It is slim enough to fit under my bed. The remote is easy to use and it’s pretty straight forward. I wish that there were some kind of wheels on it so I can easily slide it around from under my bed to where I can use it and back again.
This treadmill is exactly what I was looking for. Working from home has drastically decreased my activity level and I wanted to add some movement to my work day.
The treadmill is so light, I easily move it when I want to sit at the desk instead. The available speeds are ideal too, the lowest is 0.6mph and the highest is 3.8mph. A con that isn’t that terrible is that you can’t pause the walk- you can either stop the treadmill and lose the stats (estimated calories burned, time elapsed, distance) or let it keep going while you step off to do whatever and come back. I don’t care about this much because I track all of that via my Fitbit anyways (which has to be in my pocket because it won’t track steps if your wrist is on your desk typing!)
This product is absolutely the best value for a simple way to add movement to your day. I went from getting 2-3k steps a day to now being upwards of 15k. Highly recommend!!
Before purchasing this treadmill I checked properly the measurement in order to make sure that there is going to fit under the cupboard where I was planning to store it and I confirmed that everything is fine from this point of view.
In order to make this work is very simple, straight out of the box(which by the way is not that heavy) I just had to remove the treadmill, plug it, take the remote control( it has a small seal which has to be removed) and from there it was ready to be used.
Something else that I wanted to mention is the fact that at the bottom it has an on/off button which even when I move it around there are no chances to press it by mistake.
The treadmill itself for my personal preference, I consider that it is well built based on the size that it has, it comes with 2 small speakers and at the front it has a display where I can see the speed and how many calories I burn while using it, and one of the features that I consider to be quite important is the remote control which allows me to switch in on and off and also adjust the speed(it goes up to 6 miles per hour).
I mainly use this treadmill under the desk which was the purpose of buying it and I mainly walk at around 2 miles per hour and since I have it everything is fine with it, I didn’t experience any kind of issues and considering that at the bottom it has rubber legs it is stable enough even when I walk at a base of 5 miles per hour.
Overall, the treadmill is as I expected so I am happy with its built in quality and also functionality.
Especially great for small spaces or apartments as it is pretty low profile if you have set up under a standing desk or can fold up for storage or under bed etc.
Great for ones with mobility issues or beginners as it’s just walking and can go or start at lowest speed and work your way up
Great for ones trying move more or get step goals
Only things I’m not a fan of personally is that it doesn’t have handles to hold on to would be nice (I know the idea is that it’s under desk so you can place hands on desk, but at the time im using in gypfor days I am in able to do any workouts due to health issues I can at least walk..also I don’t like that there is no pausing. You have start over if you need to take a break to have sip of water etc
Couldn’t wait to get this to start on my keep fit again.
This arrives in a large box and contents very secure
Easy to unpack.
The treadmill for me is quite different to others I’ve had as this one has no handles.
This is just a flat running /walking treadmill.
This comes with a remote which I found really handy..as whilst walking or running you can up the speed with a touch of a buttonand reduce speed.
Easy to turn off once finished..there is an on/off button on the main part of treadmillthis can be switched on and left as the remote will do the rest
I did find the running belt very quite when switched on..
Machine is quite thinperfect for easy storage.under bed or behind a door
Machine is not as heavy as it looks.so easy to pick up and move about.
The display part is really clear and easy to read
A small bottle of lubricant is supplied
Remote has three buttons.on/off.+..-for speed control.
Nice long lead for plug.
Great price
Would recommend
I loved the convenience that you can easily hide it or store it under furniture. I would have given 5 stars but have a couple of dislikes.
Dislikes – no pause. You have start over if you need to take a break. No handles to hold on to would be nice to have fold away handles.
At the time of this review this was retailing for $369 with a $80 coupon. This is a decent investment into a workout equipment that one can actually use while catering to their work meetings and if they have a standing desk.
1. Good for Small Spaces: The compact design of this treadmill fits perfectly into my small living space. Usually, when you think about “Treadmills” compact is not the first word that comes to your mind, but the CITYSPORTS Treadmill has certainly delivered on this front.
2. Max Speed Up to 6 km/h: While I don’t consider myself a serious runner, the maximum speed of 6 km/h has been adequate for my brisk walking sessions. It’s ideal for a moderate workout and keeps me active throughout the day.
3. Step Count and Speed: Tracking my daily step count is essential, and the CITYSPORTS treadmill’s display allows me to do just that. At 4 km/h, it took me close to 90 minutes to achieve my goal of 10,000 steps. It’s a great way to stay motivated and monitor my progress.
3. Not Ideally suitable for tall Individuals 5’11″+ : As a tall person, I must admit that running on this treadmill might not be the most comfortable experience. However, for brisk walking, it serves its purpose well. It’s a minor drawback for me, but I can still enjoy a satisfying brisk walk session with this treadmill.
4. Running Belt Adjustments: Depending on your weight and frequency of use, you might need to make some adjustments to the running belt. I found that a few tweaks were necessary initially, but once properly adjusted, the treadmill provided a smooth walking experience. It comes with a belt tightening allen key and a bottle of oil. Make sure to have a IKEA transparent mat underneath your treadmill as the belt stays exposed on the other side to avoid damaging your flooring.
6. Emergency Stop Button: While using any exercise equipment, safety is a top concern. I did notice that this treadmill has an emergency stop button on its remote which gives me added assurance while using this machine.
7. Remote Convenience: The inclusion of a remote control is undoubtedly a convenient feature. However, I did notice that I need to point it directly towards the treadmill for it to work consistently. It’s a small inconvenience, but having to aim accurately can interrupt the flow of my workout at times. Also make sure to NOT LOSE the remote control as operating without it can get difficult.
With that being said all in all, I am pleased with this product, and I can recommend the treadmill to anyone seeking a convenient and efficient home exercise solution, especially for small spaces and light workouts.
I got this for my wife to increase her steps while she is working from home or using her computer at home in general.
The package for the walking pad is actually quite heavy and taking the walking pad is more easily done with 2 people. The box actually indicates that it should be carried by 2 people, so keep this in mind when you are getting it.
The nice thing with the walking pad is that the top side of it has wheels, so after taking it out of the box, it can easily be moved by one person.
The walking pad area is great for my wife, but we found that it took up most of the space underneath my wife’s desk.
The walking pad is able to reach speeds of up to 6km/h, which is more of a light jog speed. My wife generally uses the walking pad at 3km/h, but she is a fast walker and doesn’t need to necessarily read anything on the screen while using it. If she were, I’d imagine she’d use a lower speed.
The remote is good. To start the walking pad, you first need to use the power button to turn on the walking pad, then you can adjust the speed with the + and – buttons. The + and – increase and decrease the speed of the walking pad respectively. There are also buttons on the walking pad itself, so if you don’t have batteries or lose the remote, you are still able to use the walking pad.
While the walking pad is going, it will cycle through showing you the speed you are currently walking at, the time you have spent walking on the pad, the distance you have traveled while walking, and the calories you have burnt. I am not sure how accurate the calories are, but my wife typically hits around 250+ calories while using the walking pad (3 km/h for about 90 minutes).
The walking pad is also able to connect to your phone via bluetooth, so if you would rather listen to music while walking, you are able to use the walking pad to play music using the speakers built in next to the LED screen.
Overall, this is a great way to increase your number of steps and fitness overall, especially if you sit for most of the day. You will likely need a standing desk, or have a way to position your set up to account for walking if you plan to use this while you work, but it works quite well. Just be aware that it can be a little difficult to find a good place for it and that it may require 2 people to initially set it up.
