I use Stabilo Aquarable for Kydex prototype layouts on most knives or holster I make.
Works great to make detailed markings for layout but can easily be washed with water and a little soap on most hard materials.
I keep a few dozen of these in my supplies. Only issue you can run into is when they’re dropped or banged up during shipping in inside marking materials cracking causing sharpening to be more difficult. These pencils need regular sharpening and wear quickly but that’s to be expected for the use of these. If you’re using on a warmer surface they are going to wear down even more quickly. One r
Or 2 small lines on a material at around 100 will melt these to the wood. Cooler the material the better off you are for breaking down of the pencil
Matite grasse, per lasciare traccia su ogni superficie e in questo senso ottime matite. Personalmente le uso per schiarire parti di disegno colorato con matite, a secco, quindi le ritengo utili, ma sono solo parzialmente coprenti, il punto di bianco non eccezionale, neppure su fogli neri. Oltretutto, essendo grasse, non si riesce poi pi a sovrapporre altro colore n tanto meno a cancellare, pena fare grossi pasticci. Detto questo, rimangono una delle poche valide soluzioni in qualche modo efficaci per questo scopo. Per i punti di estrema luce meglio usare pennarelli bianchi o, anche, penne gel bianche (bisogna provare). Il prezzo ottimo in questa soluzione di 12 matite, rispetto ovviamente all’acquisto della singola matita in negozio.
Stablio pencils white are unique they are removable from most surfaces as long as they are not left, even after 24hrs they wipe off with warm water. A little expensive but worth it.

Use these for marking out steel… the pencils have a waxy texture which makes marks easy to see and means that they wash off with water (unlike using sharpies/markers) don’t rub off whilst working (like when using chalks ect).. would thoroughly recommend
Love them. Wish they came with an eraser, though. A little pricey. Seems like it would be hard for a teacher to afford. Would be a good gift, though, to give a couple to each teacher to show appreciation.
