Overall, the Cosicosy Electric Clothes Dryer is a reliable and space-saving solution for keeping your clothes dry and fresh, earning it a solid 4-star rating.
I had to get my partner to put it together as as I put one bar in one would fall out lol but it’s very good at drying I tend to put smaller stuff on it to dry and I use it to air the towels & bedding very pleased with it.
Took a chance on this and we like it, I mostly dry the baby’s clothes and just takes a few hours and dry nicer and not crispy like the radiator drying
This dryer takes a lot of space, but can be used as something as a wardrobe is preferred.
Doubling up as a clothes dryer, it does its job, is dries the clothes with heat but its essential that ventilation into the room is created otherwise your are solving a problem with wet clothes but created damp in the house.
Ignoring that part, this does work pretty well and since it does a described I can only recommend this!
I’ve been using this Electric Clothes Dryer Portable Fast 1400W Dryer Machine for a few weeks now, and I’m quite impressed. The dual layer design is a space saving feature that’s super convenient. It dries clothes quickly and efficiently, which is a huge time saver. The 1400W power ensures that even larger loads dry evenly. The overall build quality is good and seems to be quite sturdy and the look is nothing too eye sore to be in any room of your home either.
My only minor gripe is that it can be a bit noisy, but the results are worth it. Overall, a great addition to my laundry routine and even to travel with!!
It does get warm though and after having it on for aprox 2 hours I would say my clothes were 85% dry. This may be because I didn’t leave enough space between the clothes to allow the air to fully circulate.
Those issues aside though, it is much cheaper to run than my tumble drier and it also heats up the room it’s located in (my office) so it’s a cost effective alternative.
I ordered the Cosicosy Electric Clothes Dryer as a gift for my Mum, having been impressed with the performance of a similar product I own.
The packaging of the Cosicosy Electric Clothes Dryer was robust and well-designed, ensuring the product arrived in excellent condition.
Upon unboxing the product, I was immediately struck by its sleek and modern appearance. The 2-tier rack design looked sturdy, and the upgraded aluminum pole seemed durable. It was clear that attention had been given to both form and function.
The 2-tier rack design allows for an impressive 15kg clothing capacity, and the inclusion of 10 towel bars adds a convenient touch for hanging smaller items. The quiet operation of the dryer is a pleasant surprise, as it eliminates the usual noise associated with drying clothes.
Putting the Cosicosy Electric Clothes Dryer to the test was a satisfying experience. Hanging clothes on the electric drying rack was a breeze, and the results were impressive. The clothes dried evenly, without any noticeable wrinkles. The intelligent temperature control was reassuring, and the 180-minute timer knob provided flexibility for different clothing types.
Considering the performance, features, and convenience offered by the Cosicosy Electric Clothes Dryer, I believe the price is justified. I would even say it is better than my heated clothes dryer.
Overall, the Cosicosy Electric Clothes Dryer truly impressed with its large capacity, intelligent temperature control, and versatile design. It combines practicality with sleek aesthetics, making it a valuable addition to any home, especially those with limited space. The multi-functionality further adds to its appeal.
I Would Recommend This Product.
This works really well. It’s quite large so will need quite a bit of space to put it and somewhere well ventilated. It’s really simple to set up and really easy to use. Really pleased with it as I don’t have a dryer so this is perfect to get my clothes dry. Good value for money.
I am after one of these electric dryers for some time so I was excited to try this one out.
It is different to a standard dryer and other heated dryers I have seen as it is like a wardrobe and aimed at putting clothes on a hanger on the dryer.
I found this annoying as I then have to find spare hangers to put in the dryer for my clothes, so makes it a bit more time consuming.
It seems to work well at drying the clothes and doesn’t take up too much space in the room.
I do however think I prefer using a dehumidifier with my usual drying line as I can fit more clothes on and it’s not such a faff putting together or having to leave the dryer out!
The dryer is made of plastic and not the strongest of metals also but it’s not holding a lot of weight with the clothes and this is more or less the quality that I expected for this price point. Could be better but could also be much worse, it’s really not bad at all.
It doesn’t look like your typical clothes dryer, closely resembling a portable wardrobe as apposed to your square appliance with a hole in the front but don’t let this put you off; it looks pretty good and fits into rooms quite nicely without looking too out of place.
In terms of performance, this is what really matters; it provides drying of clothes in a medium amount of time so won’t save you a few minutes here and there but it will dry your clothes while hung up so they won’t be excessively creased like you often get in a tumble dryer, especially if you don’t remove the clothes straight away.
All in all I’m happy with this, does what it does as good as it can; I would advise it be used in a decently ventilated environment as it does project the moisture straight up into the air which can be uncomfortable especially in the summer months when it’s already hot and sticky enough.
Fairly simple to put together
Dries clothes on hangers which means less creasing
Great addition in the winter for bigger items that can’t go in the tumble dryer.
Cons:
The size is larger than expected so would need somewhere to keep that’s not in the way.
Even though there is a non drip bottom to the cover it does get very humid in there which escapes through the holes in the top so you would need to have a window open.
Overall I think it’s great, definitely will be used in the winter months.
It’s easy enough to assemble the poles, although you will need a bit of brute force for some of them to make sure they’re connected properly, but other than when you install the dryer unit at the bottom no tools are needed.
It has a two-tier hanging system, wheels to move it around, a1400w motor for the drying and a 180-minute timer.
The cover that goes over it is oxford cloth, so the type of material you find in outdoor coverings for garden furniture etc, and this has ventilation slots at the top and the steam rises up through the clothes and out of these vents.
It’s quite tall, so find a place near a window and install it there, we have this in a small brick outbuilding at the back of the house which can be closed, and the window left open as it does produce a fair bit of steam and will need to be kept in a ventilated area when in use.
The manual suggests you use plastic coat hangers which are easily and cheaply bought anywhere.
To use, just hang your clothes in it, turn the timer to how long you want it on for, close the outer cover and leave to do its job. It works well enough, and we dried a load of clothes in a couple of hours. It will be a good item to use during the winter months as an alternative to the tumble dryer to keep costs down.
Our only issue with this was the fact that the timer knob came off on first use, it seems it’s just been superglued on, but we managed to get this back on, and it’s hasn’t affected the overall use of the item.
The concept is pretty intriguing — a portable electric clothes dryer that’s designed to quickly dry your clothes indoors. With a 1400W power, you’d expect an efficient and quick drying process, which wasn’t quite what I experienced.
Setting it up was straightforward. No complicated assembly required — just plug it in, set it up, and you’re ready to start drying your clothes. The double-layer design provides ample space, which is good.
It does dry clothes, no doubt about it. However, there is a catch — it creates quite a bit of humidity in the process. If you’re not careful, you might end up with dampness in your house. This could potentially be alleviated with an open window or a dehumidifier, but it’s worth keeping in mind.
The 2-tier setup is practical for drying multiple items at once, and the fact that it’s portable means you can easily move it around based on your needs.
One thing I have to mention is that the drying process takes a bit longer than you might expect. While the 1400W power sounds impressive, it doesn’t necessarily translate into super rapid drying.
Overall, this is a good solution if you haven’t got a dryer and need extra drying options, especially during the winter. The humidity does worry me with this product, you’ll 100% need to plan in how you’ll deal with that.
Pros:
Portable and easy to set up
Double-layer design for ample drying space
Energy-efficient with an A+++ rating
Cons:
Creates humidity during drying process
Drying time might be longer than expected
The Cosicosy Electric Clothes Dryer is essentially a 1400W Dryer Machine 2-Tier Heated Clothes Dryer that looks and works like a clothes rack with a heater underneath.
That comes with the negatives and positives that immediately come to mind – it’s not particularly friendly for family households with small children, it can dry a bit patchy and works when you make the most of the drying space. One thing I wasn’t quite expecting was just how much humidity is built up from using it, especially with items like towels – so you pretty much require a window to open with good ventilation.
On the bright side, it does what it says it’ll do and dries clothes well and pretty quickly, depending on the size of the washing load. It keeps shorts surprisingly straight too and I think if I had this back (unfortunately way back!) in my uni days, it would of been an absolute game changer.
