This is an unusual diamond painting project and I really like that as I can get a bit bored and lose interest completing a large diamond art painting, which takes a long time, over a large number of sessions. It is great to make something that is both fun and functional, doesn’t take too long to complete and doesn’t take up much room when working on it. These bookmarks certainly fit the bill. Suitable for either adults or children, there are 2 sets of tools so can be worked on by 2 people at the same time. There are 4 different bookmarks in different colours and designs and they are all lovely. Once completed you can seal the diamonds to keep them clean with a thin layer of PVC glue. Recommend. Would make a lovely gift too.
Good project for teens but needs some improvement in packaging as was nearly coming apart when arrived. Additionally it’s not too clear on packaging with spelling errors too. Besides these points it’s a fun craft that is quite unique though not reflecting the quality
I think this set of 4 diamond art bookmarks were great.
I love diamond art and although it is advertised as for children 6+ I feel they were good for any age even adults, they were not to hard for children but not too easy for adults. This set will make a great gift for someone and you could even do them together and do 1 each with your kids or grandkids.
The bookmarks are made of leather and were good quality they came with everything you needed to complete them including wax, pen, tray and diamonds.
The bookmarks were very sticky and had good clear symbols on them. I had plenty of diamonds left for other projects and the diamonds were a good quality.
Once completed they worked really well on books and my husband is really enjoying using his one for his reading book. The diamonds don’t rub against the pages . You may want to seal them when finished so that the diamonds won’t fall off over time however I haven’t and they are still in place where I put them.
Would definitely recommend for anyone that loves diamond painting or someone that enjoys doing crafting. These are also a great price for what you receive
Got these for daughter who is 9 to do for her friends who are all book worms. they look fab and nothing i have ever seen before and looked very affective in the book.
Kept her quiet as she concentrated on putting all the gems on the book mark.
Be carful; as she opened the packets, some of the gems fell out everywhere.
Empty snap bags are provided to keep the surplus gems in safely, which was a great idea.
Value for money
This is aimed at older children, however as a fan of diamond painting I actually got it for myself. It is perfect for adults to do either on their own or as a project with their son, daughter or grandchildren.
The bookmarks are very good quality, as are the gems and tools provided. They didn’t take long to complete but kept me busy for a good few evenings after work. I intend giving them away as Xmas presents to fellow book lovers.
Great diamond kit set with plenty of resealable bags for extra diamonds and two sets of tools so can be used with a friend. Great idea to keep the kids busy. Only comment would be it is a good idea to varnish the diamonds after as the space in-between is a bit sticky and does attach hair and dirt.
Other than that, a great kit for the price.
I am so pleased with this set! Each one is excellent quality and holds down pages of books well. The diamond art patterns are beautiful and everything needed is included within the set, which is fantastic. The set is suitable for all levels and would make a great gift. Definitely recommend!
These are great! Fun to make and filled a few rainy days recently. So pretty and I’d highly recommend. I love these now that they’re finished but love the process of making them too and am thinking of getting another kit so I can make some more for bookworm freinds. Very happy with these.
This set of 4 book marks are great as diamond art crafting goes, even though its supposed to be for kids age 6 plus i have to be honest and say this is ideal for any age including adults, its just smaller in its flower based pattern designs instead of being more complicated but as book marks these will come in very handy and i cant wait to finish these with one of the younger members of the family as we complete them together. The set has everything we need including two trays and pick up sticks so two of us can do them together.
