A nice budget filament for test prints, does exactly as it should. Shrinkage when cooling means your ambient temperature wants to be at least 14-15 celcius plus, but otherwise it has no problems with even large flat based items.
The white is very white and I haven’t printed in black yet.
Overall, the quality of prints has been good. Good adhesion and definitely good value for money. I’ve almost gone through the white spool and I actually think it’s done a better job than my previous more expensive filament from creality.
This is good quality PLA filament. I’ve been using PLA+ since I received my printer at Christmas. So far this seems very similar and I haven’t noticed any noticeable difference in quality. I had read up on pla/pla+ prior to purchasing and have been pleasantly surprised.
I purchased this after I ran into problems with another filament not adhering and clogging up my nozzle. This filament was a relief and I had little to no issues.
This filament looks very matt when in its spool, however prints as you might expect, with a slightly glossy finish. I would prefer a cardboard spool for environmental reasons, but I intend to re-use the plastic spool anyway.
The filament generally adheres to the bed very well although this adhesion can sometimes be slightly poor with smaller layer heights. I also have to clean the bed properly between each print, but I suppose this is probably recommended anyway. I have had only one clog using this filament, which was easily resolved with a nozzle cleaning tool. Print quality is generally OK. Sometimes there is a slight issue with consistent flow, although this may well be my extruder.
Generally, prints seem to be very strong and of usable quality. 4* due to plastic packaging and very occasional adhesion and quality issues.
Great product, excellent quality. bought it to make models for Warhammer gaming and model railways, it makes them perfectly, a bit of stringing on some items but with practice it’s getting bette
I’m running the black PLA at the moment at 220, at 200 my ender 3 v2 extruder was clicking like crazy. The prints that I’ve already done with it are great, little to no stringing, and the finish is good.
I’m happy with this item
PROS:
– Prints well, fast and neat
– Fair price for two 1kg spools
– Colours are fine
CONS:
– Doesn’t come with a resealable bag like some PLA brands
No 3d Filament is perfect. Ive had some stringing issues with this that I can’t figure out but not horrible stringing. That being said took a few prints to some what calibrate it in but quality so far is great. Main reason I did get it was it’s a great price for that amount of filament and Ide do it again.
I just got a smaller 3D printer and needed some PLA filament to get started. This was a great deal. The price was right and the quality is good. Would be again.
Filament has such a varying cost, especially for the most consumed PLA. I have tried quite a few others and the quality is much better on this Creality brand than others I have tried (justmaker, esun). Don’t get me wrong, those filaments do their job also, but the adhesion is much better (less glue needed) and there is virtually no stringing. The torture toaster came out without a hotch for both colors. I have printed multiple drawer containers and grid systems with this filament and will be buying more for other projects. For the price, you can’t go wrong.
Printed with Ender 3 S1 Pro & BambuLab X1Carbon in the AMS.
This fillament is good print at high speed on my lambu labs x1 carbon prints just as using bambu labs own fillament first layer takes beautifully i would buy agai
