I am a veggy so having a meat thermometer seems like a waste of time. However, my wife is a fully fledged carnivore and given that we have a couple of air fryers, this device is excellent for ensuring that when she cooks steak or whatever (yach ;-), it is at the correct internal temperature. It seems reasonably accurate, at 25C it may be a couple of degrees out, but I wouldn’t expect it to be smack on given its price.
I bought this meat thermometer for my daughter who has just left home , this gives her the reassurance that her meat is cooked as she is paranoid about being poisoned. It’s simple to use have a guide easy to follow on the display easy to read giving reassurance that your meat is cooked. Can I buy another one for my other daughter and maybe one for my son ! Almost price and delivery were spot on . Thx
It could feel more robust / substantial but it is OK. If it is durable I may buy again. Jury’s out.
This thermometer is easy to work and easy to hold. It is the most reliable one I’ve had. I use it every day. Four stars because it isn’t perfect. A backlight would be useful and it could be quicker.
Liked the product but the delivery wasn;t good left on doorstep when delivery said it was handed to recipient, no card posted through door, have been in all day and didn’t even knock on door, this could have been easily stolen as it was on the front doorstep easily seen from the street. Back garden is accessible to put things round the back out of view.
Bought this after buying an air fryer. Use them both on a daily basis and this thermometer really helps to check when meat (especially chicken) is cooked. So good have bought 2 more for family. Very easy to use
