For the price, this has to be the best phone I have had. Huge memory(16GB) and storage(256GB) brilliant screen and fast processor. Feels solid and well built. would recommend it.

Initially order via Amazon , phone had a problem connecting to mobile data. Returned and got a full refund. I have had Cubot phones before and so was not deterred. As I live in Greece I had to re order directly from Cubot ( original purchased whilst visiting UK) The phone arrived within a matter of days . The battery life is great, the speed and storage of the phone are outstanding and the camera is amazing.I would thoroughly recommend both this phone and the brand.

I upgraded to this from an Android 9 phone. Working very well at moment. Good fingerprint response. Purchased for 135.99 on a Prime deal. The main reason for upgrade was for GPS accuracy and battery life (being a keen hiker). The old phone GPS tracking would jump about but this one is spot-on. Also the FollowMee app works properly so that I can allow others to track me if needed. Battery life is excellent and rarely goes below 50% even on a long day trip. Well pleased so far.

Great smartphone with good screen display. Latest Android system is super fast but the battery is not as expected and the camera has no panorama functionality. Generally I am pleased with the phone.

Very good phone. Great camera and system is very quick. Only problem is that for some reason it doesn’t automatically connect to my home wi-fi. Even though I’ve set it to do so. Also the battery life is not as good as it claims.

I had some tough luck with my RealMe 7 pro which was very good for me for the last 3 years and its display stopped working due to an accident so needed a temporary alternative mobile with dual sim card and came across this mobile.

Its slightly heavier and bigger than my RealMe 7 pro. The battery despite being 5000+ mah lasts less than a day for me (I am not a heavy used). It comes with a packed 256 GB memory which is good so it doesn’t bother me that it doesn’t have an external memory card slot.

The camera is surprisingly sharp and the video calls were good too. One of the issues I find is that when using mobile data at times the internet calls get dropped – I am not sure if its due to the device or due to issues with mobile service provider.

Overall a decent mobile at a cheap price packed with features. Though I miss features like inbuilt app lock, inbuilt app for parallel whatsapp. I had to install third party apps for the same.

This is my 3rd Cubot and I have been happy with them all. Great camera, very fast op system android 13 and not messed about with. Good volume and screen, fingerprint sensor works well and battery lasts for days. Call volume great and clear sound. Very happy.

Haven’t had for very long and not an extreme user. Does everything I want it to and feels good quality with the metal chassis. Much prefer to previous plastic models. Fun colour, too. I do miss having a panoramic photo option and camera obviously doesn’t match up to an iPhone but fine for quick snaps and we have a camera we use for anything more.

Got this for my wife to replace her S8 Samsung, I must say I’m really chuffed with this product, really can’t fault it for its price. it’s really fast and responsive, takes fairly good photographs, pretty sharp, only downside with the camera is that it’s not clever in focusing and there is maybe a 2 sec delay in response after knocking the shutter, saying that, that’s not going to take a star away from the 5 star given. 136 worth every penny. Thank you Cubot.

Arrived in a neat presentation box which contained everything needed to get started. the phone, power plug, usb c cable, earphones, screen protector, case for the back of the phone and instruction booklet. The cubot P80 has a crisp clean, brightly coloured display with many features you would expect from an expensive high street phone. The p80 was easy to set up and i was good to go in 5 minutes. The phone itself feels sturdy and robust and the 6.58inch FHD touch screen is quickly responsive. The back camera is 48MP and the front is 24MP. Dual sim or sim and extended memory card slot options. The P80 has many features for a personalised experience and theres a lot packed into this phone for the price and it comes with a 2 year warranty. Love these phones no hassles and cheap.

I buy the faster ones. we currently have a max 3 and this P80…….after i slammed my x50 in a van door :(.

I LOVED THE X50, However i dont seem to be able to buy that one again. This P80 is nice and fast tho.

The camera on the P80 is the best so far even over the X50.

1 thing i dont like is android 13 but thats not cubots fault 🙂

Bought after a recommendation by a family member.
Phone comes with a case already installed and has a lovely, large clear screen. It is very easy to use and has great sound.
I have used it for phone calls with and without video, sound and pictures are always perfect. I have used it for watching videos, films and playing games, all of which work very well.
It takes great photographs and videos day and night, with beautiful bright colours and lovely clear sound.
I happily recommend this phone to anyone looking for a new android phone, it is great at doing what I needed and is very reasonably priced.

Can’t believe the quality for the price. I’ve been an Apple user from the very first iPhone 3, my latest iPhone 13 broke and out of warranty. Fed up with paying the high repair cost’s & replacements so decided to try this out. Wasn’t sure I’d like it being an android & being so used to Apple so told my son he could have it if I didn’t get on with it. But I’m really enjoying it! Very responsive on gaming, cameras are great, speakers nice & loud. I mean, In my opinion you can’t beat Apple, but if you’re on a budget, this is the phone I’d 100% recommend!!

The one thing I don’t mind but some people might is that it does not have it’s own gallery and music player it is using Google’s products but it does mean you can download your own apps for these things. But like I said I don’t mind this overall a great phone

This is a fantastic phone for the price I roughly paid 130! I bought this because my iPhone 11 broke and didn’t want to fork out 1000 for a new phone. To my suprise it does everything my iPhone used to, all the apps I used are on Google and even Google pay was as seamless as apple pay. The camera is a little grainy, the interface is not as smooth as an iPhone and sometimes an app has crashed but for the price this phone is phenomenal well worth it.

This is the fourth Cubot phone I have bought, all them have been good. Battery life is good, lasts me 3 or 4 days. For navigation it picks up location straight away. Pictures and video are of excellent quality with 3 lenses, better than my SLR. No problems with calls and texts. Can’t comment on the face recognition as I have not used it. The screen is large and bright even outdoors and in HD+. It comes with a soft wrap cover, a screen protector and earphones which plug into the USB port. There is only a quick start guide supplied, could do with a more detailed manual especially for the camera, even one to download would be nice.

For the price range, the Cubot P80 appears to be really good value. The screen is very good and the storage is more than ample. The build quality seems to be excellent and the actual phone size is good for me; 5mm more width and it would be too big. The battery charge, so far, is good but it can get a little hot (no gaming, just basic apps like messaging, maps, audio, etc.). Also, it comes with a 2-year warranty but I don’t know how often they will be providing security updates. I will be contacting support and hopefully find a fix for a couple of things and report back later; to start, I can’t get the compass to calibrate.
For transparency; 5 stars is to meet the criteria to receive the gift card.

Seems great for a low budget phone. Has everything that vastly more expensive phones have. I’m not interested in camera performance so I can’t comment on quality of photos etc. Comes with a silicone case which is useful. Only gripe is that the charging socket (usb c) is also the headphone socket. Not a problem if you use bt headphones but not ideal if you use wired ones. I’ve had to order an adapter which will split the socket so that I can charge and listen to music at the same time.

After a lot of research on the various budget priced smartphones i found that this one ticked all the box’s
where as the others had weakspots that i would find annoying.
For me the most important part of any phone is the screen quality and this one has a true HD+ display
unlike the competition that are limited to 720p
Having only just received it, i will update my review after a few months of use to confirm how good the battery is, it should last at least a couple of days with moderate use.
Good points are the excellent screen that is bright enough for outdoor use, lag free swiping and reasonable sound from the stereo speakers and a rare treat is a headphone socket with buds included and a clear skin type case, not my favourite type but folio type cases are only avaialble as an import
come on Amazon please start stocking them.
As a budget phone with a better than average spec i highly recommend it, if you want a better spec
to play games with Cubot have just released the X70 with a faster SOC, 120hz display and more memory.
If Amazon start stocking them i might be tempted, for now the C80 does all i need.

This arrived promptly and was available at a good price (just under 140 ). I fully appreciate that this is not at the very top end of the market however it offers an amazing amount of RAM and storage. It comes with 8 gigabytes of RAM which you can use it gigabytes of the 256 gb of memory to augment that. It is fast responsive and does everything I require very quickly. I have had a number of cubot phones; all of which I have found excellent (I currently use a cubot pocket as my phone for traveling around as it is an excellent compact size for that). I have read the reviews which indicates that the camera is good, I am not obsessed with taking photographs and publishing online so I have no real interest in taking other than holidayv pictures for saving in our own repositories. In my view extremely good value for the money paid. For completeness I have owned a number of Nokia mobiles (which I found perfectly acceptable)- for performance this outshines them by a fairly wide margin in my opinion. I had noticed in some of the reviews that there had been an error message come up during installation (some people suggested that that had stopped the device from working). I had the same error message however installation completed properly in all other respects. I contacted Cubot in relation to the error message and they indicated (very speedily) that it was a fixed they had put in to address an issue with “kids account”. The helpful person I corresponded with also indicated that it would cause no issues for my use and indeed the error message has disappeared and the phone works perfectly. First class service from Cubot.

set up was very easy, a lot of it auto or prompted, then in use i found it very user friendly. Calls are clear and easy, camera appears to work well, though i have yet to upload pics to my laptop. The downside of the camera is that the power bar is right where you need to hold the phone to take pics!
NOW that i have had this camera for 3 weeks i can add that the battery is nowhere near as robust as my previous phone BUT i have been using the camera a fair bit, have uploaded pics to my laptop and i have to say, as a true amateur try-er! i am REALLY pleased with the quality of the camera, clear, sharp, and the depth of field is impressive, in fact i am leaving my compact camera at home in favour of this phone! I would definitely buy it again.

Never heard of CUBOT before so here are my findings on the P80.

Blown away – great price – great features and great battery life.
8GB ram and 256GB storage. Once the upgrade goes through you can expand the RAM to 16GB (8GB from the storage). Note also takes SD card to expand storage further.
I got 1 metre accuracy with the in built GPS which is very good indeed.
Cameras are very good and includes a Macro camera for extremely close up photos.
Battery life is very good. Also has NFC (which so far I don’t use)
Finger print scanner is a nice touch and running on the latest android version with all google apps including assistant and play store.
Even comes with a case and screen protector which is great although waiting for delivery of a folio type case for it (my preference).
Being using it for a week now and so far no negatives to report.

In brief and well proportioned phone with great features at a very reasonable price.
Would I recommend and buy again – in a heartbeat.
