Great RAM & ROM for the money. Fast battery charger and the battery charge lasts well over a day..Easily setup from my previous phone. Nice protective case but the headphones usb-c connector would not fit the phone socket.

The Cubot P80 is a great mobile handset. With Android 13 and NFC built in it is an all round power house for running my favourite apps and working with external payment cards. Fast and responsive, a great addition to my hardware setup. Thanks CUBOT!

Camera is great, takes really good photos both close up and distance. Battery seems to last a long time. Had to change order of default navigation buttons at bottom of screen as wrong way round for me. Not keen on the notification dots as same colour as icon, but overall great phone for the money

Very good phone. Great camera and system is very quick. Only problem is that for some reason it doesn’t automatically connect to my home wi-fi. Even though I’ve set it to do so. Also the battery life is not as good as it claims.

I’ve had many Cubot phones over the years and found them to be excellent value for money, and the P80 is certainly no different with a large memory, long battery life and ability to have 2 SIM cards it does everything I want from a mobile.

This is an upgrade from my previous Cubot X30 Pro. I really like the improved battery capacity which is lasting just under 3 days! And of course the newer Android OS and better processor gives me all the speed I need.

Got this for my wife to replace her S8 Samsung, I must say I’m really chuffed with this product, really can’t fault it for its price. it’s really fast and responsive, takes fairly good photographs, pretty sharp, only downside with the camera is that it’s not clever in focusing and there is maybe a 2 sec delay in response after knocking the shutter, saying that, that’s not going to take a star away from the 5 star given. 136 worth every penny. Thank you Cubot.

Arrived in a neat presentation box which contained everything needed to get started. the phone, power plug, usb c cable, earphones, screen protector, case for the back of the phone and instruction booklet. The cubot P80 has a crisp clean, brightly coloured display with many features you would expect from an expensive high street phone. The p80 was easy to set up and i was good to go in 5 minutes. The phone itself feels sturdy and robust and the 6.58inch FHD touch screen is quickly responsive. The back camera is 48MP and the front is 24MP. Dual sim or sim and extended memory card slot options. The P80 has many features for a personalised experience and theres a lot packed into this phone for the price and it comes with a 2 year warranty. Working well. Battery seems to last a reasonable time.
Very clear screen with good colours. Takes 0reasonable photos too.
Only drawback is as I use 2 some I cannot put in my memory card.

I have only had the phone for a couple of weeks and there is so much on it that I am still learning about it. I am a bit slow because I am 87 years old. I chose this phone because I have had a Cubot phone for the past 8 years and was so pleased with it.

This is a fantastic phone for the price I roughly paid 130! I bought this because my iPhone 11 broke and didn’t want to fork out 1000 for a new phone. To my suprise it does everything my iPhone used to, all the apps I used are on Google and even Google pay was as seamless as apple pay. The camera is a little grainy, the interface is not as smooth as an iPhone and sometimes an app has crashed but for the price this phone is phenomenal well worth it.

This is my 3rd Cubot phone which says a lot in itself I think, I change them not because there is anything wrong with them but purely for advances in technology
16GB of Ram and 256GB of Ram is tremendous value in itself let alone Android 13 Dual sim 48MB Camera and a host of other features
I would 100 % recommend to anyone looking for a value for money smartphone.

For the price range, the Cubot P80 appears to be really good value. The screen is very good and the storage is more than ample. The build quality seems to be excellent and the actual phone size is good for me; 5mm more width and it would be too big. The battery charge, so far, is good but it can get a little hot (no gaming, just basic apps like messaging, maps, audio, etc.). Also, it comes with a 2-year warranty but I don’t know how often they will be providing security updates. I will be contacting support and hopefully find a fix for a couple of things and report back later; to start, I can’t get the compass to calibrate.
For transparency; 5 stars is to meet the criteria to receive the gift card.

Seems great for a low budget phone. Has everything that vastly more expensive phones have. I’m not interested in camera performance so I can’t comment on quality of photos etc. Comes with a silicone case which is useful. Only gripe is that the charging socket (usb c) is also the headphone socket. Not a problem if you use bt headphones but not ideal if you use wired ones. I’ve had to order an adapter which will split the socket so that I can charge and listen to music at the same time.

This arrived promptly and was available at a good price (just under 140 ). I fully appreciate that this is not at the very top end of the market however it offers an amazing amount of RAM and storage. It comes with 8 gigabytes of RAM which you can use it gigabytes of the 256 gb of memory to augment that. It is fast responsive and does everything I require very quickly. I have had a number of cubot phones; all of which I have found excellent (I currently use a cubot pocket as my phone for traveling around as it is an excellent compact size for that). I have read the reviews which indicates that the camera is good, I am not obsessed with taking photographs and publishing online so I have no real interest in taking other than holidayv pictures for saving in our own repositories. In my view extremely good value for the money paid. For completeness I have owned a number of Nokia mobiles (which I found perfectly acceptable)- for performance this outshines them by a fairly wide margin in my opinion. I had noticed in some of the reviews that there had been an error message come up during installation (some people suggested that that had stopped the device from working). I had the same error message however installation completed properly in all other respects. I contacted Cubot in relation to the error message and they indicated (very speedily) that it was a fixed they had put in to address an issue with “kids account”. The helpful person I corresponded with also indicated that it would cause no issues for my use and indeed the error message has disappeared and the phone works perfectly. First class service from Cubot.

Bought to replace a previous Cubot phone, which although still working well after 5 years was distinctly low-tech (e.g. 3G). The new phone is basically bigger, better and (very,very much) faster. It feels substantial and well made. Connectivity on bluetooth, wi-fi and mobile has proved excellent. Sound and vision are both very good.
A minor criticism is the lack of either a physical or online manual. The getting started leaflet is useless, although set-up is pretty intuitive. A bigger criticism is that despite the phone displaying that the operating system was up to date, it persistently downloaded a small update and then failed to install. After two weeks this appears to have been resolved following a 1.7 gig download (be aware if using mobile data).
Overall though I am very pleased with my purchase.

set up was very easy, a lot of it auto or prompted, then in use i found it very user friendly. Calls are clear and easy, camera appears to work well, though i have yet to upload pics to my laptop. The downside of the camera is that the power bar is right where you need to hold the phone to take pics!
NOW that i have had this camera for 3 weeks i can add that the battery is nowhere near as robust as my previous phone BUT i have been using the camera a fair bit, have uploaded pics to my laptop and i have to say, as a true amateur try-er! i am REALLY pleased with the quality of the camera, clear, sharp, and the depth of field is impressive, in fact i am leaving my compact camera at home in favour of this phone! I would definitely buy it again.
