Matches perfectly with my worktop, and seems to not over boil like some kettles. And it’s a lovely pour, smooth and not too fast. My second purchase and a fine kettle.
I absolutely love this kettle. The retro design is so cool. The colour is a perfect match for my kitchen. It’s lightweight making it easy to use. Perfect size. So very happy.
Kettle is great in every area. Only two things to note –
1. Its a bit noisy as its light weight – not a major issue though – we love it !!
2. When the kettle arrives there is a funny chemical taste to it. This is normal in all kettles. After 5 boils it was still there though. I initially thought at this point we may have to send it back but my partner had a solution. She boiled the kettle full of water but with Lemon juice in it. Boom – Hey presto – chemical taste completely gone.
Great kettle. Looks great. Great price. Once your rid of the new kettle taste your going to love it.

Really liked this. Obviously it’s just a kettle so it boils water and nothing else. However it looks much nicer in person and is much better quality than I expected
Does everything it says on the tin;
Boils fast and looks very stylish on the kitchen counter, easy to fill and pour, lightweight. Has an indicator on the side to see how much water is in, although sometimes a little hard to see it clearly.
The only thing missing is a temperature gauge. Any very simple and inexpensive gauge would do, just to not have to touch the kettle to find out if the water is hot enough to use or if I need to turn it back on. It is plastic so it doesn’t get scolding on the outside, it is safe to touch, I just would prefer not to have to.
The blue colour is lovely, just like the puctures.
All in all great value and I am very happy with my purchase.
Good price, lightweight, looks stylish. Replacing a very expensive Smeg kettle which broke down after only 3 years. Even if this one only lasts the same time it will be good value for money.
Its a great looking kettle and matches my kitchen perfectly. I like the shape of it. It works well, boils water what more could you want. Two minor issues. When empty it is very light and doesn’t always slot back into the base plate easily. Also I would have preferred the water gauge in the middle of the kettle. Where it is behind the handle its not easy to see how full it is. Oh and quite noisy.
After searching through many reviews I finally settled for this one and I’m so glad I did! This Daewoo is a lovely looking kettle, very stylish, a perfect shade of grey and looks great in my kitchen. It is easy to fill and I like that the lid comes off rather than a hinge making it easier for cleaning. It has a long spout making it perfect for pouring and is fairly quick to boil and so much quieter than my last kettle. I love the shape of this jug kettle and am very pleased with my purchase. Time will tell how long it lasts but I’m hopeful that it will outlast my previous one.
