Very impressed by the quality .when fully extended it’s hard to control because it’s heavy and it can be blown left or right .I used it for washing moss of my roof .you Can do it but your arms will be sore afterwards. It’s a good product and I’ll use again .I got the job done .a moss scraper on an extendable pole would have been helpful .it cleans gutters very well with the additional wand included.pity it didn’t come in a plastic case .it came in a cardboard box .I now have to find a place to store everything
Bought this to power wash under my car. Clips on to power washer and just wheel back and forward under car. Will be ideal in the winter for removing all the salt and sludge to prevent rust. As a plus if you flip it over it cleans your driveway or patio.
Used the dual vacuum lance with a Wolf 275 Petrol Pressure washer at 3480Psi & 240 Bar, with Kiln dried sand.
Wet sandblasted both the severe lime scale spall and industrial fire paint from my Scottish1805; granite stone coastal house.
Have to appreciate that the original power wash jet is being split four ways. Alright if the path etc is reasonably clean but use the power wash first for heavy soiled areas.
This add-on to your power washer really works. I needed to clean up some 100 year old brickwork that was going to become a feature wall in my new Kitchen. i hooked the device up to my Karcher and bought a couple of bags of Kiln Dryed Sand and bingo! Amazingly simple and amazing results. Only downside is that KDS is very expensive and you go thought it quickly. But, the device is awesome
Absolutely works a treat. Use kiln dried paving sand keep the pipe up over the lance to stop any water clogging the sand and a good pressure washer and it brings alloy motorcycle parts up like new .
‘Sand Blasting’ as it is still widely referred to, even though in the original term of ‘Sand Blasting’ was using Silica sand which is now illegal in the UK to use this material for sand blasting.
Silica sand was found to cause Silicosis, a fatal lung disease from inhaling the dust particles caused by sand blasting.
However, this term is now loosely used for any abrasive material used that is blasted onto a surface with a pressure washer to remove a layer or debris on the surface.
The abrasive material used with a pressure washer and this lance doesn’t necessarily need to be ‘sand’.
Other alternatives can be used with this lance including Baking Soda or Grit depending on the level of abrasiveness needed on a particular surface.
Due to weather conditions, I’m not able to test this kit fully. I have paint peeling off an outdoor wall and I want to blast off the remnants before it’s repainted. That should be much easier and faster than scraping it off. However, it’s too wet and windy and I haven’t bought any sand yet,
I’ve unpacked this and first impressions are excellent. It seems very well made with so,ud brass fittings and ceramic nozzles. They should wear well. I have a Karcher machine and need a small adapter if I want to use this with that power washer. I also have an old and heavy pressure washer, it’s blue and not branded and the connector fits this with ease. You just push and click into place and with a sand source, all shoukd then be good to go. This is simple to set up and a really handy bit of additional kit.
I bought this to jet wash the underside of my cars. I bought a separate adapter to fit my Stihl pressure washer. Works very well, fan of jets are just right to clean and the cleaner is low enough to get under my Suzuki Swift and Toyota AYGO. I recommend this cleane
I have a cast iron griddle that was mistakenly left exposed all winter – need to get it clean again and thought I would try this kit to adapt my Karcher and hopefully make light work of the rust so I can get the griddle cleaned, seasoned and ready for BBQ season.
Easy to assemble and get ready to use but make sure you have an adapter if you plan on using this with a Karcher as it is a simple 1/4 inch push and click connector and not the standard Karcher bayonet (push, turn and click fitting) – should have paid more attention to the listing !!
You connect one end of the hose to the supplied lance and one end to the aggregate feeder tube – the hose seems fairly neat on the connections but they also supply 4 jubilee type clips to secure the hose in place. The plastic handles on the clips seem like they could snap if you apply too much pressure but I took it easy and was able to secure the hose tightly enough without incident.
Also comes with 2 spare sets of ceramic nozzles which sit in the brass nozzle housing at the point of the lance and, I assume, stop your aggregate destroying the brass housing over time. Pair of safety goggles included as well and whilst I am not sure they will win any major safety awards they seem robust enough and will offer some protection against any random particles.
Seems okay for the money so far and will update this review once I have my adaptor and can post some before and after griddle photos.
You’ll also need some aggregate to use – listing mentions silica sand however a little research uncovers a lot of content that advises that silica sand should not be used, even for wet blasting, due to health concerns so I opted for some kiln dried sand and will see how that goes.
Awesome quality and great value.
Super easy to use and connect. Wonderful way to clean the undercarriage. Will be very handy in the winter months to wash off the winter salt and grime from my pride and joy.
Really good bit of kit and very pleased with it!
