This Dylon fabric dye is amazing! I successfully dyed a hat and a shower towel that had lost their color, and both turned out fantastic. At just 3 quid, it’s a great deal — it saved my favorite hat and the environment. Win-win!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersPretty effective; although needs to be a relatively small quantity of clothing. Great for one or two items. Really freshened up a top and some jeans which had faded to a colour I didn’t like.

Easy but slightly messy process if you don’t want to use your bath (I didn’t). So will be helpful if you can use some receptacle outside, to avoid drips/spill indoors. But it worked well enough – suspect the colour will fade over time – but cheap enough to go through the process again in due course.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersWorked wonders on this old, grubby cream silk shirt! Was apprehensive but figured I can’t really wear it as a cream shirt anymore because it’s a bit grubby. Very happy with the result. Going to dye all my old white shirts now!!

Just do wear gloves, and long ones at that. I had a wee short pair of gloves and it leaked into one hope the blue fingers fade soon!

5.0 out of 5 stars Worked wonders!

I have some old Royal Navy trousers that had white marks on the knees, I stupidly tried to rub them out and just ended up removing the colour in a big circle on both knees, it was really annoying me so I started looking for a dye, settled on this one because I didn’t want to risk the washing machine. The result is not bad at all, I can still see the white marks, but to be fair I don’t know what they are. The circles I made are filled in though, a little bit noticeable still on one knee, but it’s an improvement.

This was very easy to use. Best done in a big bucket in the bath. Has transformed my faded trousers into a new looking pair.
Read instructions and it works well. A heavy pair of trousers will need 3 packets for a good solid result. You need to weigh the garment and adjust the salt and dye amounts accordingly. Oh, and check your rubber gloves don’t have a hole in them. Yes my hand is still blue
